Nayiah Wanakshi Neko ~Soft brown furry ears flickered as she straightened posture up, brown eyes widened almost in fright. She tried to listen to it again and when she would the female neko flinched in fright. Nayiah backed slowly away from whatever the commotion was, whether it was being slightly skittish with whatever she could have sworn she heard or she was freaking out at something so little. She wasn't bold enough to investigate whatever that noise was. Wondering if it were those same people who were chasing her beforehand she wouldn't have known that no one was chasing her this time. She didn't want to really chance it by waiting it out just in case it was. Why in the world had she decided befriending a brute was a good idea in the past. Then somehow little did she know it turned sour and she hadn't even done anything wrong. She had simply witnessed him killing someone and now Nayiah was simply in the way of what had happened. Shivering when she recalled that bloody scene she was glad to be on the move. She ran as fast as she could feeling her heart pacing what seemed to have been too fast but she had to ignore it for the time being though sadly Nayiah wouldn't have noticed a root from a tree sticking out as she ran. Not having any idea if anyone was nearby whether it was one person or two until she tripped and fell landing hard on her stomach as the wind was knocked out from her for a brief moment. Grasping her knee's she gritted her teeth as she whimpered from mostly the stinging of falling and hitting her knee's but she would slowly push herself up so that she was more so in the crawling position as she gasped for air. Though if anyone said anything or if they asked if she was alright she wond wince a bit frightened at first having not expected anyone to speak to her let alone anyone being nearby. She would look at them with a bit of fright. If they told her she had no reason to be afraid of them she would give them a blank nod. But wouldn't speak just yet out of being uncertain as well as somewhat shy.~

Jaelyn Thorris Elven Exile Cursed With Lycanthropy He grumbled to himself as he looked over the wares that were laid out on the table, picking one up as he turned it over to look at it before putting it back a little harder then he'd meant to. Thankfully it didn't break... Not only were the products incredibly inferior, of poor make, but they were also overpriced for the low quality. And as much as he wished he could just pick up one and be done with it, he couldn't. No, he had to be super careful with his money now! Never had he been completely frivolous before, but nowadays, he had to be incredibly careful about how much coin he spent per item or he would go without food or home. Things he hadn't ever worried about before either! Growling to himself he'd close his hand into a fist, holding it at his side as he held in his anger and wish to strike out. Although, he was succeeding in keeping his temper reigned, hopefully no one would cause him trouble... even the smallest of things would be probably set him off, let alone anyone bumping the overly tense elven man. Although his physical features were not especially different compared to the rest of those that were gathered in the market that day, except perhaps the striking aqua of his eyes, Jaelyn stood out amongst the lower class natives of the city. And that would be due to the beauty of his clothing, clearly made for those of nobility, his shirt was of the fines quality and even his pants were nothing to sniff at. While he also possessed waist long black hair that was obviously well taken care of, silky black ebony shining slightly in the noon day's sun.

Sarylin Hawkroad Hired Elven Messenger Bethel conductor Tucked neatly away in the sealed compartment on her belt, her clothing stuck out like a sore thumb in the kingdom lower ring, making many of the citizens eye her with much caution and with even greater curiosity. Her hands were folded before the beautifully crafted tabard that hung from her hips down to her ankles, as she poised herself to seem somewhat proper. She had travelled far from her home lands on a promise of vast coin as she was to deliver a messenger to the hierarchy of the neighbouring territory. She was not of noble blood, but more of a rag a muffin in the lower sanctum of the crown of her own lands. The only reason why she was doing this was for the coin in truth. She wasnt usually a greedy person, but she needed to bring in some coin into the small run down bethel that housed more than just a couple people. Passing through the dark forest that seemed to enshroud the entire perimeter of the castle grounds, she didnt notice anyone around her, or someone tripping. She had been set in her mind to get within the walls of the castle; which had been clearly successful. Long tapered ears, crannied lightly taking in all the small gossip of the locals that didnt realize she was listening as her vivid eyes took in the darker looks of men that she knew were dangerous. She had to make it through the lower sanctum of the royal grounds before she could go up to the castle itself. It was dangerous as her clothing proclaimed she was empowered to riches. If anyone wanted to be so bold, they could steal her jewelry and royal tabard that she wore and sell it for good money. She may have looked like she was nothing but a clueless woman as her cheeks were peppered with brown little spots as her purplish burgundy hair curled around her face. She was taller, lean and slender all the way around, except the parts of a womans body that rounded outwards. Another dangerous item that a man could want to take. Lifting a hand to touch the smooth silken bandana that was wrapped around her left bicep, eyes of light tealish blue turned to catch the image of black, gray and white. Stopping short, the man clearly didnt belong in the lower grades of the castle. Just like her own clothing foretold everyone around her that she was from a different kingdom and a apparently looking well off, his clothing looked so plain that it was beautiful and bold. Though in her own culture with how long his hair was, that also told her he was of higher nobility. Clearing her throat, she gently pushed her way through the crowd towards the man who was seeming to be rather irritated. She was never told whom to deliver the letter too, just someone of the higher nobility. She wanted to leave as quick as possible, she had already been gone for far too long. Quickly running a hand over her garments to straighten them, she reached out to reach up to tap the man on the shoulder as she came from behind him. “Excuse me Lord,” her voice was soft and sweet like honey, but it was still loud enough to command a point if she needed. It wasnt seductive like so many woman's voices were as her tone was jostled by a slight accent of third class. She knew she sounded funny to most as the accent wasnt strong but it was clear enough to hear still. Some words she slurred and made sound odd. She was commonly called a low brow hill billy in her own town. Her hand took up the sealed letter as she would hold it out to him when he turned to her.

Nayiah Wanakshi Neko ~Nayiah wouldn't have been inside the castle when she had heard the sounds and had freaked out but just outside on the outskirts considering she had tripped over a root from a tree. She would walk thankful she hadn't sprained anything if anything just scrapped her knee's a good one. She continued hurrying along as she quietly reached the castle though she was outside around the time that the young man would put things on the table louder then he had meant to, so Nayiah wouldn't have noticed the man being so upset and easily annoyed at that. However she didn't notice a woman when she had tripped though when she would dust herself off she blinked noticing the woman dressed the way she was heading inside the castle almost reminding Nayiah of that a messenger would've looked like. So assuming right away that must be what that woman was, Nayiah pondered outside the castle noticing that the woman hadn't looked at her or seemed to notice she had been there which was fine with Nayiah. She would ponder what to do from there as she was still worried about those men following her. All due to a misunderstanding at best too. Besides she didn't like people trying to force her to do something she didn't want to do. Heading quietly inside the castle she figured she would be safe in there and she wondered if there was somewhere to eat inside the castle like some had bar which served food and drinks. She headed quietly inside lost in her own thoughts that was until she blinked as she walked in the same direction that woman had come in not having realized at first she had until she noticed the woman pointing a man on the back she would blink noticing that as she felt somewhat uncomfortable. She wondered if she should've asked either one of them if they knew where she could get food and a drink. Maybe one of them could point her kindly in the right direction for that. Though embarrassment showed on her face as she heard her stomach growling hungry softly as she glanced down.~

Jaelyn Thorris Elven Exile Cursed With Lycanthropy Jae had been muttering to himself when he was tapped on the shoulder, the sudden feeling startling him a little as he flushed and whirled around to pin his striking aqua eyes on the woman that had approached him. A sharp comment on the tip of his tongue would disappear then however as he fully took in the woman. She was clearly from elsewhere and addressed him as Lord, which he would instantly apprecite considering how dearly he did miss his station. Pulling his shoulders back he'd look down to her with his haughtiest look that he could muster, sweeping his long hair out of his face. "Yes, what do you want?" Jae's words would be spoken coldly and with disdain as he looked down his nose at her. If he hadn't been irritated and having a bad day as it was, he normally was a much more congenial sort, but with how things had been going, he reacted in a way that he would be ashamed of when he looked back on it. His eyes would run over the colorfully clothed woman, taking in her posture and he would have to admit to himself that she was not unattractive. Quite the opposite in fact, but she was also clearly of lower class with the accent that she spoke with. As for any others that was in the lower city market at the time with them, he was ignoring them. It was high noon and many of the citizens were out and about, milling through the streets as they did their noonday shopping or taking a break from work in order to go and get a bit to eat. And for Jae, anyone who appeared to be of lower class really wasn't all that worthy of his attention unless he had need of them or they called specific attention to themselves. "What is this?" He asked her as he took the sealed letter from her with a puzzled look. Jae doubted that the letter was for him as he looked it over, as it was obviously not addressed to him. And his family had all but disowned him when he had become exiled, so he doubted any of them even knew that he was currently living in this particular city. Looking to the girl again he would raise his brow, waiting for her to answer.

His tongue was sharp and direct, as she wouldn’t expected any less of a noble man that was clearly in a foul mood. Sarylin took in a breath slowly and surely to fill her lungs, making her breasts rise and fall with the slow rhythm. She didn’t honestly like dealing with noble blood on any given day, but she had reasons for this and she knew perhaps in the end it would be more worth it that she could honestly reflect.
Her lips parted for her words to come out, but instead a soft gasp fluttered out instead as he took the sealed letter from her. Instantly her ears mattened back as the adorned eyes of teal etched backwards over her shoulder. Her mind was lost to what to say as she didn’t expect the man to take the letter right from her before she had the time to speak. She didn’t want to offend him, so she had spoken promptly when he asked. She took her time trying to deliberate the words in a proper punctual way in hopes that he wouldn’t treat her like some imbecile. Trapping down the hot blush of embarrassment and naivety, Sarylin eyes caught the brown cat like ears on the crown of emerald green hair before she found herself snapping her attention back to the man. The neko woman had caught her attention but she knew what ill could happen if she didn’t give her undivided attention to the noble when he was addressing her.
Instinctively her hand came up to her face to brush out the bangs of purplish burgundy hair. “I have been sent here with a letter to address the higher throne.” Her tongue folded around the words with great difficulty. She wasn’t accustomed to address any noble man, or middle class man, so it would be apparently she was trying hard to articulate herself correctly. “I wasn’t told in specifics to whom I should deliver the letter too, just some higher descent of noble blood. And by your splendid apparel good lord, I assume you are one of the nobles.” She pointed towards the letter within his hands, “So I entrust you with delivering that to the king in this lands.”
Sarylin pressed her lips tightly together for a moment before she allowed herself a fleeting glance at the shockingly vibrant eyes of the lord. As quickly as she glanced his gaze, her eyes feel away to her feet. She knew the rules of this game of noble verses rag a muffin, and she knew her part. She had no idea whether the lord was from this land or if he was still part of a kingdom. All she wanted was to return back to the bethel with the coin to help her patrons.
Tucking her hand into her stomach, she mimicked a less than graceful bow at the waist before she took a step backwards and turned, keeping her gazed adverted. All her life she had heard that it would be ill luck to peer a man of higher rank in the eye for too long, and she wasn’t about to take silly superstition into play today.
As her back faced the man for a brief moment, her eyes skipped across the young woman of cat like descent, before she tilted her head some with a appropriate, less strained smile to her face. It was apparent she was afraid and looking for safety of some sort. Everything about how she held her body was that of a startled alley cat.
“I bid you good afternoon, lord.” Sarylin spoke away from the lord, not aware of her apparent miscommunication with him and the failure of delivering the letter.

Nayiah Wanakshi Neko ~Nayiah hadn't noticed the guy not paying attention to her and mind you she didn't notice so she wouldn't have cared either way because she was a bit too preoccupied at being full of worry and fear about who had been after her beforehand. Besides that she was use to nobles ignoring her. She had already felt a lot of times how it was with them. And since she was how would you say it "below them or under their feet the pebbles under their feet. She wasn't stupid enough to try to go above what she was use to. Though when the lovely looking woman looked at her briefly a few times she would've noticed that. Nayiah inched a bit away nervously as she noticed the woman interacting with the nobleman. She could tell the woman was around her rank in status, which was below noble blood. She was about to turn her attention on something else when she heard footsteps coming from another direction with in the castle as her ears perked as she glanced in the direction. She was slowly calming down and she was about to ask if they knew a good place where she could get something to eat. If the woman was close enough perhaps she would've heard too as Nayiah asked one of the servants a question.~ "Excuse me, where's a nearest place that I may be able to rest the night in and also inquire a warm meal to eat that would best be for a commoner such as myself?" ~Nayiah asked shyly and quietly though loud enough for herself to be heard. Though the servant glanced at the female neko almost debating she should answer or not until she heard someone yelling for her to come, which Nayiah wondered if it was the servants master or something that she appologized to Nayiah and left not being able to answer Nayiah's question. Shaking her head she didn't blame the servant woman for not being able to answer though a soft blush crept on Nayiah's face as her stomach growled softly implying she was hungry.~

Listening to the girl as she spoke to him about delivering the letter to someone of noble blood, he would suppose that she had gotten that right. He had at least been allowed to take his belongings allowing him to dress as well as he did. In a way it was nice to be considered and treated as a noble again, something he had missed in the time since being exiled. Studying the sealed letter, he wouldn't notice that she was leaving immediately until he heard her bidding him a good afternoon.
Lifting his eyes up to her again he would realize that she was walking away, having genuinely thought that he was a noble that she could deliver the letter to. Blinking he would shake his head at his distraction and reached out to gently touch her arm.
"Messenger, wait. I apologize for giving you the impression that I could take this to whom you need, but I am not from these lands and have no standing here," He would tell her watching her to see if she listened or if she tried to continue to leave. Although there was more to what he said of course, being exiled and all, he did not feel that it was the business of the girl to know. All she needed to know was that he was not the one that she was looking for.
Lifting his hand with a sigh he combed his fingers through his ebon hair while watching her, this time finally noticing the green haired cat girl, only noticing because the messenger had looked her way.

Her shoulders raised tightly as she let out a long drawn sigh at hearing the man state that he wasn’t from these lands. She should have know it would have been far too easy for her just to simply give him the letter and walk away.
Keeping her attention forward as she heard the neko woman asking for a place to sit and eat, Sarylin tried not to brush the fingers of the man from her shoulder. She knew it would be seen as bad taste for her to due such a thing, so she kept her patience and turned somewhat to him. Her hand lifted for the return of the letter, her eyes wide and bright still as she hope there was no betrayal of a certain distain to the idea that she wasn’t free of this mission yet.
“I do apologize lord, for assuming you were from this kingdom.” To her all nobles looked alike, she didn’t know who to tell one from another nor one from another kingdom.
Upon retrieving the letter, Sarylin curtsied forward in a clumsy bow again before she slipped the letter back into the compartment on her waist. “I pardon myself from your eyes lord,” she spoke softly before she turned on her heels and moved towards the neko woman. If she was going to have to continue this travel, she might as well help someone out.
“Excuse miss,” Sarylin smiled sweetly to the green haired girl, “I heard you were looking for a place to sit down. Perhaps we can help each other. I hear two heads are better than one, and I am certainly in need of a cheap inn and a cheap meal. Would you mind if I tagged along briefly with you?” she wasn’t sure what the nobleman would do now, but she felt foolish for assuming he was part of the hierarchy in the kingdom. It was a sure fire way to make herself seem like a complete and utter dolt.

Nayiah Wanakshi Neko ~When the nobleman had managed to get the messenger woman's attention again, Nayiah hadn't realized that Sarylin had heard Nayiah mentioning when she had asked about finding a place to sleep and eat at. Though what Nayiah hadn't said was cheap. Cheap was all she could afford anyways then again it was obvious how she looked she didn't really seem to be so well off either. Though when the nobleman finually glanced at her and noticed her she looked at him shortly as she knew her place. She wasn't about to offend a nobleman. Having no idea that he had been exhiled or what not even still if she had known, she would've acted the same way treating him like a noble because it was all she knew how to do. Nayiah tried not to listen as Sarylin appologized to the noble man calling him Lord she was use to hearing a man being called that so it didn't surprise her in the slightest. Though once the woman had grabbed the letter back and actually spoke to Nayiah she looked at the woman. She wasn't afraid of Sarylin but more so surprised at her speaking to her and offering to help her out. Nodding silently after hearing her speaking about going to find a place to eat and sleep together she would nod her head in silence and in response to that.~ "Yeah I guess they are...and I need a cheap meal and inn too...is all I can really afford." ~Nayiah said answering her softly as she spoke to her. Studying Sarylin she thought the messenger lady was beautiful and admitted in thoughts only that the noble lord was quite dashing though it would stay in her mind as she wouldn't say that outloud she knew her place. Though hearing Sarylin mentioning about if Nayiah minded about her tagging along with her. Shaking her head to show that she didn't in a weird sense, Nayiah would've felt less afraid of those awful men chasing her with someone else tagging along with her. Even for a little time.~ "No I don't." ~She would say answering the woman.~

"Think nothing of it," Jaelyn muttered and gave a dismissive wave regarding her mistaking him for nobility of the kingdom they were in. Thinking reasonably it wasn't all that farfetched of an idea, although at the same time he supposed she should have inquired before trying to give away the letter.
Turning back to the table of dreary items that he'd been perusing previously to her approach, he let his eyes wander over the items. However he couldn't keep his mind on them. Concern niggled at the back of his mind. Sealed letters usually were incredibly important to get to the right person so it was a little bit odd she'd not been instructed to give it to someone specific. But even barring that the girl would probably get in a lot of trouble if she didn't deliver it. And he wondered if they'd even let her into the higher city.
His ears would twitch lightly even as he heard her distinctive voice through the throngs speaking to someone to ask for a cheap place to eat. That was good, she'd found someone to help her. He could go about his own business... At least that would have been what he would do, if he didn't catch the person's answer that she didn't know of one either. Shaking his head at himself he hoped he wouldn't regret what he was about to do.
Turning away from the table he would walk the short distance over to them, coming up behind the messenger girl, Jae cleared his throat. "Excuse me." His smooth but gentle voice would call for their attention and he'd wait until one of the two girls looked to him before continuing.
"I could not help but overhear the both of you are a bit lost and searching for a place to rest. I happen to know of a cheap yet decent Inn. If you would so wish to accompany me, I am on my way there now," Jae would offer as he softly smiled. Alright so part of it what he had said was a lie, he hadn't been on his way there yet, but he figured he could put off his shopping for a short while in order to assist them. Plus he couldn't help but feel a little bad for the girl mistaking him for nobility of the kingdom, just a little. Awaiting their answer he watched them openly with a small friendly smile.

Having the young neko woman agree with her accompanying her, Sarylin let out a comforting sigh, though she did realize she had no idea in which direction they should go. Or how to go about getting there.
Drumming a finger to her bottom lip, Sarylin was about to gesture for the emerald haired neko to follow with her as her long tapered ears flinched with the strong yet subtle voice of the prior noble man she had been speaking too.
Slowly she turned around so her back wasn’t facing the lord, as she instantly was unsure of him. There was no rhyme or reason for him wanting to continue in a conversation with her or even the neko. It was clear they were both clearly beneath him and she was honestly in no mood to have some sort of sick game of compassion from the nobleman.
Sarylin let her eyes stay away from his face, but she took careful time to study his fine yet simple clothing. They appeared to be tailored from the highest cloth that she could ever dream of. It only proved to dampen her spirits about the higher fraction of life around them. She was born into the life of depravity though most of the time it didn’t bother her, but having to be near the nobleman with his clearly superior dress and mannerism, it darkened her. Though she was careful not to let it show on her face, she didn’t want him to take a ill eye to her and have her whipped within the street, though it wouldn’t be her first time.
Listening carefully to him speaking about an cheap Inn, Sarylin bit down on her tongue as she found the curiosity bubbling up into her throat. Why on earth would a man of his calibre be doing seeking a housing abode in the lower district?
Allowing a side glance to the younger looking woman to her side, Sarylin had her bangs hanging over her face so she couldn’t sneak a peek to the man. “I thank you lord, but it would surely look inferior for you to direct us shameful scum around the city.” Sarylin held her eyes over on the neko, though her body didn’t move from its slightly slumped stage. Her neck was bowed forward which gave the momentum for her bangs to hang in her face, as her hands began to fiddle nervously with her blue crystal pendant. Perhaps the only part of her apparel that wasn’t given to her by the crown. It was the one possession she held dear to her as it was the only link to her childhood she found was a good memory.
She began to hope that the man wouldn’t be offended by her words as she slid her heel backwards to keep some distance between him and her. Sarylin wouldn’t have noticed the friendly smile on his rugged features, as she was a firm believer to never look the man or any noble in the eye. “Please my lord, we are nothing but unworthy cur beneath your feet, do not waste your breath nor your good grace on us.” Her accent was lingering on every word as she made a very soft gesture to the neko girl to start walking backwards from the man. She had been taught well to try to be as meek as possible when dealing with the hierarchy. Slow movements, no direct eye contact and careful wording usually worked. “I praise the lord for his gracious offer but we must not allow you to stoop yourself.” Closing her eyes, Sarylin lifted herself to stand fully erect, her shoulders straight and square but her eyes remained shut. She turned slightly to the left until she was certain the man wasn’t before her face and opened her eyes.
Blinking some, she glanced down to the fellow woman, thinking she had succeed with denying the grace of the man. At least she hoped she did, she didn’t want to offend him nor did she want this woman to be harmed if she had.

Nayiah Wanakshi Neko ~Nayiah wouldn't have expected someone of noble status to come and offer his help in finding a cheap place to lodge in for the night and have cheap food. Though she inched closer to the coldness of the wall when he had came up to where she was with the female messenger. Hearing him speaking to them in a gentle voice wouldn't have really done much. Nayiah wasn't about to be fooled on that. She knew both of them were beneath him. And to act that they were in the same status was foolish enough. Besides that she was rather weary of noblemen. Due to the man who was chasing her being of noble status. Due to have witnessing a nobleman kill another she was a loose end to tie up. And as far as she knew was continuing to be chased. Or so Nayiah thought. As he had been chasing her along with those who served him. Though Nayiah wasn't to know if he still was or if by chance this nobleman knew him. So she wouldn't really speak to him but be somewhat nervous around Jae. Not that she thought he was a bad man, and she wasn't trying to offend him either. She just didn't speak a lot to him. Though when he spoke about helping them find a decent inn, she wondered why in the world would a nobleman such as Jae be looking for a cheap inn for food and a place to stay when noblemen usually stayed in something less run down. Even though he watched them and gave a small friendly smile. Nayiah was as nervous as ever. Though it would've been understandable considering what she had gone through already. Though hearing Sarylin speaking in response to Jae's words. She would hear waht the female messenger would say as she wouldn't look too much at Jae as well. Nayiah had no idea how to get to that cheap inn as well even though she had heard Sarylin giving out a comforting sigh before Jae had spoken to them. Hearing herself being called shameful scum didn't even offend her, Nayiah would've agreed with that compaired to nobility and herself she was pretty much that.~ "No thanks my lord. We appreciate your kindness and offer but, we aren't worthy for your kindness as we're nothing but mere commoners not fit to occupy your time. We shall find it ourselves. Thank you though for your kindness even though we don't deserve it." Nayiah would say quietly almost fumbling with her words as she was nervous when speaking. Nayiah bowed slightly out of respect as she walked and once Sarylin moved a bit so she wouldn't be in direct sight to see Jae she would see Sarylin glancing at Nayiah. When and if they actually left the castle, Nayiah followed Sarylin as if she were a lost stray or that of a slave following it's master though Nayiah was niether just unsure of herself a lot.~

At first he would almost think that they were mocking him or even being sarcastic in the overly humbling manner in which they answered him, throwing his kindness back in his face. Clenching his hands into fists at his sides, a low growl rumbled in his throat as he would be about to say something, to lash out verbally, but the feel of sharp claws pressing into his palm would remind him of things... of his situation... Flinching lightly as he realized what he'd been about to do, Jae shook his head at himself and took a deep calming breath, only opening his eyes again when he felt in better control.
"I- Forgive me ladies, I've had a bad day," Jae would sigh gently as he looked to them, hoping not to have frightened them, his ears tilting down a little. Truly feeling contrite he looked to the way they tried to make it seem as if they were way below him, although to most now he'd be considered no better. Shaking his head, he pressed his lips together a moment.
"Please, I see you as no less for being born to a different station. Allow me to make up my show of temper to you by escorting you both. I promise my intention is simply to assist two ladies in finding the place that they seek, which happens to be where I am heading as well," Jae stayed where he was standing when he spoke to them, studying both of their mannerisms as they seemed to be trying to disappear from right in front of him. "However in the end it is your choice. I will be heading there now, if you wish to come along, you may." He would decide to just go on ahead, letting them decide if they wanted to follow or not.
Turning from them he would begin to make his way through the streets, walking at a nice leisurely pace in order to allow them to catch up if they wanted. Throwing a glance over his shoulder he'd check for them as well to see if they were following or not.

Sarylin heard the small growl escape the man after the young neko had given her own response, making her eyes lift with a bright concern, letting her eyes connect with his. She wondered how irked he was before he seemed to calm himself down. When he apologized for his sudden change, her body leaned forward a bit as her arms dangled somewhat before her, making her disbelief very evident.
He just said he didnt think ranks were important. That confused her to the core before she began to fiddle with the necklace again, as she let a weary eye drop down to the neko.
“It would be in our bad taste to deny the lord twice my friend,” she spoke to the woman as her voice was low as a whisper. “I dont want to take a chance with him offering again and if we deny again. You never know what a noble is capable of.”
Combing back some of her hair, the pair of strands curled around her cheeks as she quickly adverted her gaze from the man, as he moved pass them. “We are humbled by your generosity, we will accompany you.”
'Father give me strength,' she muttered under her breath as she turned to look over the backside of the man walking away. She waited a bit to have a good enough distance between him and her before she began to follow.
She tucked her hands behind her back, as she slumped her shoulders some. She didnt know what was with this noble and why he was suddenly feeling it was his duty to escort them both to the inn, that shouldnt have even been a place he should dwell. She was beside herself wondering what to do. She still had to deliver this damn letter. All she wanted was to go home, back to her safely.
Letting her mind fall into her own memories, she didnt realize her slide in steps. Moving gracefully on her tips of her toes, her hands bound behind her back, Sarylin was deep in thought wondering if the orchard was rip for picking, and hoping that a fresh shipment of linen from the cathedral inside the kingdom had come to the bethel for the children. She was light on her feet surely making some curious glances appear on her.

~Nayiah wasn't trying to mock Jae but more so wasn't good with intereacting with nobles especially after what she had been through. And she wasn't use to talking to men either so that also went against her. Though when he would growl as she noticed how he would react would make Nayiah whimper as she inched against the wall flinching in fright even if it was just briefly. Having no idea really what Jae had been about to do, though she had slightly a good enough idea of it involving a lot of pain. That's all she needed to know enough to frightened her. Her ears drooped when she had whimpered in fright. Though noticing Jae regaining control as she heard him asking them to forgive him as she listened to him mentioning about having a bad day. Nayiah wouldn't speak to him due to having lost her voice in fear though she nodded her head at him in silence almost as if that was her own way of saying he was forgiven. Even though Jae had hoped he hadn't frightened them, it really wasn't hard to not frighten Nayiah. Her ears moved slightly hearing him telling them that he saw them no less due to what they were born into being a different station then he was. Hearing Jae offering about escorting them both yet again, made Nayiah look at him even if she shouldn't have as she truly wondered why he was going to a place like that when he seemed so well off, weren't nobles well off? She wondered to herself. Nayiah didn't really notice Sarylin fiddling with her necklace, though she would listen to what Sarylin had said as she told her about being a bad choice to reject the nobleman's offer again.
Nodding her head in agreement Nayiah glanced at Jae and then to Sarylin. Hearing Sarylin's comment about never knowing what a noble was capable of she nodded her head in agreement.~
"You would be surprised...I've seen what they've done....no your right...we'd be deny his request again."
~Nayiah would say quietly for only Sarylin to hear as they followed Jae behind. It wasn't that she was hateful to the nobleman but she was frightened of all noblemen. Nayiah nodded her head in agreement when Sarylin told Jae they would accept his generosity as they would accompany him. As Sarylin thought about memories however Nayiah thought about what would become of them as they followed Jae towards the cheap inn for lodging and food.~

Seeing that they indeed had decided to follow him, Jae would smile softly to himself, just happy to see that they did. On top of not having much money now, although it was probably much more then the either was used to, which he had to make last, he hadn't made any acquaintances since being exiled. It was a lonely existence, not that he wanted to get too close to anyone for fear of hurting them.
After looking back behind him a few times he would notice the odd way that Sarylin was walking in, blinking as he would fall back since he could see that she wasn't paying attention. With only a momentary frown at the green haired girl he would decide to stay away from the overly skittish woman, he went to her opposite side. Looking down at her with his bright eyes, he smiled gently. "'You certainly have an interesting manner of walking," Jae commented idly as he shoved his hands into his pockets, looking away afterwards.
When they got to the Inn that Jae had been talking about, it would be as he had said, as it looked fairly decent, hard work put in to keeping it look neat and tidy and not letting it become rundown. A small family run inn they weren't the most popular place in the city but they did well enough to get by, attracting loyal patrons that came back all the time.
Walking to the door he would open it for them and waited for the girls to walk in to the softly lit inn first, he walked in after them and smiled as he waved to the elder woman who was standing behind the bar. "Hello Elzy, brought you two more customers," Jae greeted her as he spoke with a chuckle, the woman looking over the two with him for a seocnd before she responded.
"Jaelyn! it's nice to see you making some friends! Any friend of Jaelyn's is welcome here," The woman called Elzy smiled to them once Jae had spoken to her about them. Ever since he had started coming to the cozy little place him and the much older woman had gotten along well, her warm and welcoming nature getting through most of his brooding.

Sarylin felt terrible for the woman of the cat like nature, as she noted how she flinched in fear from the nobles reaction. It only made her wonder if she had been beaten or something far worse, but alas she didn’t know what had happened.
As they walked, her attention shot up as she adjusted herself to walk stiffly as she directed a darting glance up to the noble. “I apologize if I embarrass you,” lapse of thought and it seemed like she was back in the life of high wires and daring acts. She noted how he turned away from her when his hands tucked into the pockets on his side. She wanted to keep her distance from him, as not to degrade his reputation for having to escort them both around, but she knew it would be rude. So instead she lowered her head, and tucked her own hands within one another, her eyes keeping careful trace of the cobblestone beneath their feet.
The inn was certainly a marvel in the lower quads of a kingdom. It was cute like a cottage almost and very well maintained. Now she understood why the noble stayed here, it was quaint and seemed to have a certain air about it that screamed to her, that she shouldn’t be here either. If anything she would have just gone outside the city walls and set up a little camp, but that would hardly be appropriate to announce now.
He opened the door and allowed them to enter first only made her question him more. He certainly didn’t behave like any hierarch man that she ever seen. He appeared polite, but that made her antsy. Did he have other motives for bringing them here to a place that he was obviously well known.
The elder woman was warm and welcoming enough, though being called a friend to the noble was hardly the truth. Her and the woman neko were just stragglers, attached to the lord so they didn’t make him look like a fool.
Her ears flicked and turned with the name of the man, being pronounced on the elder womans lips. Jaelyn. It practically bleed royal purple blood. It was high sounding and it screamed out his place in the order of the living. She was beneath him. Her and the neko were beneath him. They would have been lucky enough to clean his boots, but walking around with him was surely a good way to get them shot.
Sarylin looked over the elder woman as she bowed lightly towards her. “I do apologize for the sudden appearance of us ma’am, but we are looking-” she pointed between her and the neko, “for some rooms. I am not sure for how long for the dear woman here, but I will only need the one night.”
Letting her hand drop back to behind her tabard, she side swept it to reveal the purse that had been hidden beneath. It wasn’t her coin, it was the kings coin for her to live off for the time. She had been very careful not to use it unless completely necessary and this was hardly the time for it either. But she swallowed her pride for it so she wouldn’t offend the Lord Jaelyn. “If you have any rooms available, I would be greatly appreciative.”
Sarylin side glanced Jaelyn for a fleeting moment, before she wrinkled her brow. Damn the man for be an attractive noble. She sighed and turned her attention back to the elder woman.
“If my acquaintance here,” again she opened a hand to the neko girl, “cannot afford the room, I will pay for it myself.” She offered with a more welcoming smile. “It is the least I can do for her company.”

~Nayiah honestly had no idea on what to think about what she would think when they had arrived at that inn and Elzy had greeted Jae and vice versa. Nayiah had overheard Jae commenting on Sarylin's manner of walking though she kept silent on that as he hadn't spoken to her so she didn't see fit to say anything. It wasn't her place anyways to. Though hearing this Elzy comment about herself and Sarylin being Jae's friends she would give a surprised look at the woman and even more wondered why a nobleman such as Jae was staying in a place like this. Glancing at Sarylin as she too wondered what that all was about she was nothing but a stranger to Jae. Having no idea that Sarylin had felt terrible for her or that she wondered what had made her flinch or wondered if she had been beaten or worse due to how she reacted when Jae had lost his cool briefly.
Ears twitching as she heard Sarylin appologizing for embarrassing Jae. When Jae had allowed them in first holding the door open for them, Nayiah would shyly thank him even if she seemed uncertain.~
"Thank you my lord."
~She would simply say. Sarylin wasn't the only one wondering what really was Jae's motive for helping them. Nayiah secretly worried what would become of them with being around Jae. Would they end up killed or punished for being around him. Nobles could get away with everything including murder. Hearing Sarylin appologizing to Elzy about the sudden appearance of herself and Nayiah, Nayiah nodded as she appologized too. Nodding her head in agreement of looking for some rooms. Though hearing Sarylin mentioning only about needing a room for a night, Nayiah would softly speak.~
"I only do too. I don't have much coin so I'm saving what little I have."
~Nayiah would say confirming pretty much she would only be staying one night too. At least that was what she intended on doing that is. Sarylin wasn't the only man who noticed Jaelyn was a very attractive man, as Nayiah noticed that too though she tried not to stare too long because she didn't want to anger him or offend him. Though hearing Sarylin mentioning about paying for her room if she couldn't afford it, Nayiah shook her head not wanting the female woman to waste her coin on Nayiah.~
"I'll be fine...I have enough for a room for the night."
~Nayiah said softly. Though she thanked Sarylin.~
"Thank you though, for your kindness."
~Nayiah said to Sarylin.~

"No, it isn't embarrassing. Just interesting," Jae would respond to Sarylin when she apologized if she had embarrassed him, shaking his head as he had spoken honestly. It was just something one didn't see often and it had simply made him curious.
When they were at the Inn, Jae wandered over to one of the empty and open tables, watching them speak with Elzy who as always was open and animated with how she spoke and treated people. That was probably the only reason why he had stuck around as long as he had at this inn instead of just continuing on to the next. The woman was a bit nosy at times, but coupled with her friendliness it was easily overlookable. And feeling welcome somewhere was always a relief... especially when he was being treated like he didn't belong anywhere...
As for when Elzy was asked about how much it was to stay the night she would name a fairly small amount, just above the usual anyways. "And the price includes a meal as well, dinner or breakfast; your choice. And speaking of dinner," Elzy would lift her hand to signal for them to wait just a moment before she peered into the kitchen around the corner, before looking back to them, "It's just about done if you would like the special. It's a thick creamy potato soup, a couple slices of bread and butter, with a few slices of mutton." She spoke cheerily and waited to see how they reacted.
"That sounds great Elzy, I'll have the special myself," Jae would call out with a happy grin, causing her to nod to him. "And ladies, you're welcome to join me at my table." He'd add as the thought occurred to him. He hoped they would oblige as he was craving some company this evening, feeling just a bit lonely.

Giving Jae a curious look about how he approached the way she walked, she didn’t feel like honestly explaining it. She wasn’t ashamed of it, but it wasn’t like she was playing on sticking around the noble either.
As the conversation carried with the elder woman that had been called Elzy, Sarylin gave the young emerald haired neko a tip of her head with how she thanked her. “Anything to help a fellow person.”
Sliding the coins face down beneath her hand towards Elzy, she was about to excuse herself to the room without a meal but found herself looking oddly to Jaelyn. He was a very odd fellow which only made her wonder if he was masquerading as a noble, his entire attitude was something else. It made the confusion restless in her head but she didn’t want to take the chance of asking him if he was a troupe pretending to be a noble. She had seem many traveling men of the dance and songs play as nobles in there plays, this man could be just wandering off from the wagons to act the part in the kingdom square.
But it was still a slim chance. Tucking her hands before her shapely hips, Sarylin bowed to Jae before turning her attention back to Elzy. “Thank you ma’am for the warm abode and the meal. But please… I’d be just as happy with a bowl of sticky rice.” She was perfectly accustom to peasant food and felt no need to really differ from it.
Strapping the coin purse back underneath the tabard, she moved almost frigidly towards the table at which Jae sat and pulled a chair out for herself. Moving and shifting in a posture that would be appropriate, her ankles crossed over one another as her hands sat in the crook of her lap. Her back was straight as she kept her sights on the polished table as the low candle flickered in the glass. “Thank you Lord Jaelyn, your grace is surely far above what is accustom to you. Your pity for us is…” she wanted to say completely unusual, but she didn’t. “Appreciated.” She let out a long sigh through her nose.
It was awkward as she let her eyes wander over the polished wood of the table, towards the floor and up along the decorated wall until the came to rest on the pair of cute brown ears that sat upon the head of the neko. She realized her own absence of etiquette as she hadn’t introduced herself to the young neko but knew better than to present herself to the lord.
Letting a wry smile spread over her face, Sarylin gave the neko woman an almost plea look hoping she would join her in this awkward hell with the noble, but she wouldn’t push it. She didn’t know what to say to the lord, nor did she want to just be rude and address the neko woman either.
Bringing her head down again, her knee bounced nervously as she pretended to be rather fanaticized in something on her tabard. She knew that talking out of place was completely inappropriate with the lord here; but wasn’t it equally as rude not too? She felt lost, she had never been in such a situation like this before. Most of the nobles ignored her, rarely struck out unless she was being a pest –though she had a different definition of pest than them- so sitting here with a noble who seemed to be almost yearning the company of them, it was a unruly question that bobbed through her mind.
Biting her lip, she let her ears drop some as she waited for someone else to fill in the gauche air.

~Nayiah remained quiet for most the time Elzy spoke to her and Sarylin. Even though the women didn't get the other's name, Nayiah would've perhaps introduced herself to Sarylin but again what with the nobleman present wasn't exactly a time to do that for someone below his status. Nayiah wouldn't how known how much Jae was lonely and how badly he had been treated, though if she had known she would've understood that more then anyone. Though hearing Elzy make mention about the special as she listened to Jae telling the elder woman he'd have the special and heard Sarylin mentioning about sticky rice would just do.~
"I'd settle for some warm bread and butter."
~Nayiah answered quietly considering she wasn't use to getting much she would honestly be grateful for even that for some food. Even though Sarylin went and sat down where Jae was first, however Nayiah would stand where she was still a bit uncertain on what to do when she almost looked started at sudden noise outside the inn she peeked out the window though sighed in relief to know it wasn't who she thought it was. She would take her bread and butter and sit at the table with Sarylin and Jae nervously as she slowly nibbled on her bread. So she wouldn't have noticed Sarylin's alost pleaful look about hoping she would join them at the table. Nayiah didn't show that she was too skitish just shyful and a bit nervous but if Jae honestly knew what Nayiah had gone through he would've understood the reason why she was. She somewhat relaxed as she quietly thanked Elzy for the food. And thanked Jae and Sarylin.~

When she was asked just for sticky rice from Sarylin, Elyz would lift her brow at her but would just smile and nodded to her. "If that's what you prefer dear." And with that she would disappear into the back to get Nayiah the bread and butter she'd wanted and to start on Sarylin's rice.
As for at the table, Jae would watch the girls with curiousity, surprised at their choices for such plain foods. Even if they had it normally, why not go for more when one had the chance? It'd be a question he kept to himself. Watching Sarylin sit down at the table, he'd give her a welcoming smile although it would fade as she would call him Lord and mentioned pity. He didn't pity them, and didn't wish them to think that. Sighing heavily, his shoulders would slump, closing his eyes for the moment. Hearing the chair that Nayiah pulled up at the table with them however he'd look back up and offered her the same welcoming smile but it'd be a little more wane as he was a bit preoccupied with his thoughts. Fiddling under the table with his sleeve, he'd be thinking about telling them the full truth. He didn't even know them however, so why would he want to? Was he truly that desperate for the company?
Before he fully decided, Elzy would reappear from the kitchen with Sarylin's rice and his meal, to which he would smile and thanked her. "Oh and a pitcher of mead please Elzy," He would request as she walked away, tho she would nod and smiled at him knowing he meant to share. "I hope you both like mead?" Jae would ask with a soft chuckle, picking up his spoon, intending on going straight into the soup. However the silence was getting too much to bare on him.
Putting his spoon back down with a sigh he would place his elbows on the table as he steepled his fingers together, and studied both the girls for a moment. If he was going to start somewhere, he might as well with them... Taking a deep breath first he gathered himself a moment to tell them his shame...
"Please, don't address me as Lord. I know you're just trying to be proper, however I fear I've let you think the wrong thing. You see, I'm not nobility," Jae would start speaking to them a moment later, his bright gaze concentrated down on the table, "At least I am no longer considered as such. I... I am an exile from my homeland, my title, lands, and everything stripped from me." His voice hesitating slightly as he told them the truth. Of course he currently had no intention of telling them why, not yet anyways if at all.
"So, you see I am not your better, and there's no reason for you to treat me as such," Touching his spoon he would fiddle with it a little, keeping his sorrowful gaze off of them. "I- I... apologize for allowing you to think differently for so long." Jae's voice dropped as he apologized, still not meeting their eyes. As he finished speaking he'd snatch up the spoon to scoop up a spoonful of the soup and placed it quickly into his mouth.

Upon when her food appeared from the elder woman of an innkeeper, she took it gratefully with a eager polite thank you. If she had know that Jae thought it was a little odd for them both to be ordering plain everyday ordinary food, she would have smirked at it. She would have happily explained she wasn’t here to go all out even if it was already bought and paid for. And then came the real truth, she knew that her fellow patrons were at home, eating no better so it was a way of doing the same. If it kept her fed, she was perfectly happy with it.
Side glancing the nervous girl, Sarylin wanted to reach out and stress to her that everything would be alright but again she wouldn’t. Though hearing about the mead, she wrinkled her brow. She could say she never honestly drank it. She knew it was a honey wine but didn’t mean she ever went out of her way to drink it.
With the adjustment of the man at the table, she traced her eyes through a part of her bangs to get a peek at him. His elbows sat upon the table, his fingers knitted between one another as those eyes, those deep rich piercing aqua eyes were studying over them. As if they were a pair of interesting bugs or something of equal significance. He spoke some what easy as she listened to him state that he was an exile from his home land.
Instantly she flicked back her head, making her eyes turn fully on him. “You are not a noble and yet,” she pointed directly to his clothing, “You dress as a noble. That is a falsity and even I know that can get you into much trouble with the guards in any homeland.” Sarylin set down her rice gently. “No wonder you are a oddity, coming here to seek a roof, treating her and I as equals. I was honestly beginning to assume you were a troupe playing his part of some grand scheme far too long.”
Finally she let the natural inviting smile spread over her freckled face as she shifted her body to stand. Taking the head of the chair into her hands, Sarylin swivelled the chair around so it was facing backwards and proceeded to sit back down. She leaned over the back and snatched up her rice. She felt relief sweep through her as she listened to Jaelyn apologize for leading them on. “It would have been stupid for you to blurt it out in the market square if you were an exile Jaelyn.” Her voice was far more melodious even with the accent. “So perhaps it was best you lead us both on, that way you didn’t have to face the pain of a whipping.” Sarylin smiled as she put a spoonful of rice into her mouth. Swallowing it shortly after, she let her own intrigue eyes study him.
“While I am curious to know why you were exiled, I will not ask. But don’t worry about it anyways,” she didn’t know if it was odd to either of them that her attitude change within a simple blink of an eye, but it was a great relief to know that Jaelyn was an exile. She was easily friendly and she didn’t see rhyme or reason not to extend to him now.
Lazily she let her attention move to the girl then back to Jaelyn. “Well since the air is clear of the nobility status and I don’t feel like I am being choked any longer;” Sarylin tilted her head some with a grand grin over her face. “I haven’t been able to properly introduce myself to either of you. Obviously I am not from this homeland either, but I herald from the lands of ice and snow, the kingdom of Naverir. I am Sarylin Hawkroad a lowly third class, but a happy one at that.” She stopped for a moment to gauge Jaelyn for a moment. “Which reminds me, I am sorry for trying to give you the letter. I know I said it before, but I do mean it. I don’t know the hierarchy well and I honestly I have no desire to stay here for long. I am not a very good messenger but I don’t think anyone cares about that, at least not in the royal ranks.” She shrugged light heartily. “Everything has a place and every place has a thing.” She muttered before she finished her rice and set it on the table.
“But I suppose I should actually excuse myself so I can go to my room and prepare for tomorrow.” She fumbled the words out loud, “So with that I should thank you both and take my leave.”
She scooted herself back with a smile, and a slight curt of her body. “Thank you both for your company and thank you for clearing up the curiosity of yourself Jaelyn.”

~Nayiah thanked Elzy graciously for the hospatility and the food. When Nayiah had sat down and received a smile from Jaelyn she wouldn't be aware she returned a shyful smile back. After cutting the bread in half and spreading the butter onto the warm bread, Nayiah nibbled slowly on it. When Jae mentioned the mead,Nayiah gave a curious look. She wasn't sure if she would like it or not. Unaware of the brief smile forming on her face when Jae chuckled. Nayiah looked surprised and curious when Sarylin and herself were told not to address Jae as "Lord". Even though Nayiah wondered what made Jae exhiled, Nayiah decided it wasn't her business to ask why Jae had been exhiled.~
"I'm sorry that you had to loose so much. I know what it's like to be cast aside like your nothing. I wouldn't wish it on anyone."
~Nayiah spoke softly, the nervousness was somewhat slipping. Relief that he wasn't a noble. She stared at the table contaplating on saying anything else. Pondering whether she should or not. Nayiah glanced at Sarylin and nodded her head in agreement.~
"I won't ask why either. It isn't my business. Though I'm sorry all that you had to go through. And for having such a bad day earlier. I know what it's like to have those. I also want to appologize for seeming so skitish around you. You see I've been running from a nobleman. I witnessed something I shouldn't have seen now he wants to get rid of a loose tie."
~Nayiah explained wearly. Though looking at Jae she shook her head gently.~
"It's alright. It worked out better waiting to tell us."
~Nayiah said agreeing with what Sarylin had mentioned. Seeming somewhat less nervous then she had been before, as Nayiah listened to Sarylin speaking to Jae. Surprise showed on her face when she noticed Sarylin's change of expression as she had smiled. When Sarylin introduced herself, Nayiah gave a shyful smile.~
"Nice to meet you, Sarylin. Jaelin."
~Nayiah said kindly to them both. It would seem like moments passing when Nayiah managed the courage to introduce herself to them.~
"I'm Nayiah. Nayiah Wanakshi."
~Nayiah spoke softly but enough to be heard. Hearing Sarylin thanking her for her company, Nayiah nodded her head and smiled shyly.~
"Thank you for yours too, Sarylin. May you have a well rested night."
~Nayiah said kindly to her. If she excused herself and went to her paid room, Nayiah's eyes watched the woman leaving. Nayiah hadn't moved from where she sat just yet.~

When Sarylin pretty much did an entire 180, going from quiet and humble to definitely more outspoken, Jae would be taken off guard, at first unable to think of any words to reply to her as he would just blink at her. He had started thinking that she was an interesting person when he saw the odd way she had walked when he was leading them to this very inn, and now he was sure of the fact that she was intriguing. Blushing lightly he cleared his throat a little and averted his gaze to smoothing out a sleeve on his shirt.
"Ah yes, it is a risk, I know. However, I'm afraid it's been difficult to give up such clothing since my clothes were few of what I was allowed to take before leaving to come here. They're... a vice for me I suppose," Jae confessed to them his love for his well-tailored clothing. It fit well and comfortably and the materials rarely scuffed his skin. While he wasn't over delicate, he disliked the rouch feelings over his flesh. "As for how I have been acting with you, I suppose I must confess I am also just odd. While I still had my title and the like, I was often scolded for being too friendly with the lower class." He explained a little bit about himself with a laugh, while he watched both of the ladies, flashing them both a smile.
"Please don't worry about it," Jae would lift a dismissive hand when Sarylin tried to apologize for trying to give him the letter, then doing the same towards Nayiah a little when she apologized about being skittish. Nodding when they'd both mention it working out better that he had held his tongue he also smiled a little.
"It has been my pleasure to meet the both of you Sarylin, and Nayiah. As you heard from Elzy, I am Jaelyn Thorrs. I hope the two of you shall rest well," He smiled a little wider to them before they both got up and left for the the night. It'd be about then that Elzy arrived with the mead, looking surprised to find the girls gone.
"Scare them off Jaelyn?" She teased him with a wink, to which he would chuckle and shake his head.
"They felt the need to go rest," He explained simply as she nodded and set the pitcher down along with a single glass. "Thank you Elzy." As he thanked her he would reach for his coin purse before she let out a hand and touched his shoulder.
"Don't worry about it, it's on the house tonight," She would tell him cheerfully before disappearing into the kitchen. Jae was definitely surrprised, but wouldn't refuse it since he didn't have to be careful with it. Pouring himself a glass full he began to sip at it, slightly nursing it. But by the time that the evening was dwindling, he'd had several glasses full and so was certainly a little tipsy but nothing too bad.
Unless someone were to come back from their room, Jae would go to his own rented room from the same inn and sat on the edge of the bed to glance out the window. He was fine that night... the moon itself wasn't full so as long as he didn't get too upset and trigger the curse, he would not have to worry about possibly harming someone and where he was going to wake up the next day, even if he wasn't drunk. Laying down shortly after contemplating the moon and his curse, Jae would end up falling asleep quickly, his last thoughts on the two women he'd just met.

Having the young woman finally introduce herself to them was a great relief. She didn’t think it would have been appropriate for her to just call her neko outloud.
Tipping her head with the customary bid of good eve, she left the inner rings of the inn to press open the quaint room that she had purchased for the night. It was truly that of a cottage like room as it was small but cozy. Moving nimble fingers over the straps of her tabard, it dropped to the floor with a heavy thud due to the weights that sat on the edges of it. Stepping over it, Sarylin ran her fingers through the back of her hair letting the evening run through her mind again.
It was an odd turn of events as she could only wonder why Jaelyn wanted to come clean about his false nobility. It wasn’t like her or Nayiah would have said differently but that wasn’t her call either.
Dropping her hands to rest against her outer thigh, Sarylin let out a soft flutter of a breath before she dipped herself backwards, bending at the waist making a arch with her body as her hair dropped to touch the wooden grain of the floors. Her routine of stretching and releasing the tension from her body continued as until she felt she was certainly more than ready for a good rested sleep.
With the crack of dawn peering through the sheer curtains of the room, Sarylin had already peeled her clothing from her body and cleaned herself with the scented water she had requested, only to redress herself in the same messenger clothing. She strapped the kingdom tabard around her hips as she double checked the purse hidden behind and the sealed letter. She wasn’t aware of what Nayiah or Jaelyn would have been doing or if they had been sleeping, but she was certainly not wasting a moment more with an idle body.
Turning the cool brass knob in the palm of her hand, she left the room in a sort of orderly array trying to not be too much of a mess for the inn keeper and her lovely hospitality.
Strong heels clicked against the wooden planks of the streets allowing her to descend lightly until she touched the smooth floor of the main floor of the inn. The soft transcend into the lobby, she caught the brief smell of the perfumed water still lingering on her skin as she let her tranquil eyes take in the quiet morning. It seemed still very quiet as she wasn’t sure if the woman named Elzy would have been out in the yard this morning, or what happened to the pair she shared a brief company of.
Touching cold fingers to her necklace, the soft secret smile lingered on her lips as she made her way through the lobby towards the large steel bolted arched door of the inn. Unlatching the lock, tumblers rolled and clicked with the pull of the handle allowing the sweet smell of fresh laden dew drift in on the morning breeze, fluttering her hair slightly.
Turning to peer over her shoulder for a moment, she spoke a quick and delicate blessing of travel for Jaelyn and Nayiah to be safe in there travels. One thing her father taught her was always be kind and praise the angels for safe travel. Perhaps one of the few superstitions she still held onto.
Pulling the door softly closed behind her, eyelids slide shut letting her breasts rise with the large breath of air to only escape in a grand sigh. Peering along the road way for the inn keeper, she didn’t catch eye or hair of the woman but decided it was for the best.
Pebbles caught between the cobbled stone clicked and clattered along the pathway as she began a careful trek back into the lower ring of the kingdom as she still had to make her way up to the royal tier of the castle grounds. She was still eerie of the idea that she could go up to the ranks, but she had been dressed in the bright colours of her own homeland so the guards would know she was a messenger sent for a higher purpose. Didn’t mean she was one hundred percent on it.
The slow slump of the hill caused her to turn her eyes upwards to the steady rise of the finely built walls of clay and gravel as she felt the childish grace slip into her mind. Tossing a eye back around her to see if anyone was awake this early in the morning, she allowed the silly smile to spread over her freckled face as she back tracked a little to walk along the edge of the wall. It took balance, but like some jovial kid that enjoyed the feeling of being higher above all else, she revelled in it. But unlike a child, she kept her hands at her sides walking easily proving her balance was far superior than most.
She wasn’t aware of her surroundings as much as she continued her cheerful trek along the wall as it slowly worked in a small fall with the hill into the gallows of the lower ring. Merchants were waking and beginning to busy themselves with there only duties. But she was lost in her own mind again. Leaving her up for free game.

~Listening to Jae explaining about being told how to act around the lower class. Nayiah should have realized that it wasn't any different then those who were lower classed being scolded on how to act around the upper class. Wasn't it all just the same thing? Nayiah wondered.~
"I never really did get why people were above others, and others beneath them. Though I never dreamed about trying to speak my thoughts due to not wanting to be punished for it. But I always saw people as people."
~Nayiah confessed softly. Seeing Jae smiling if it was directed at her, Nayiah returned one with her own shyful one. Her ears twitched slightly as she listened to Jaelyn speaking. A soft smile curled on her lips as her brown eyes softened as she nodded her head in agreement.~
"Same to meeting you, Jae and you Sarylin. I certainly am honored to meet you both."
~Hearing Jaelyn wishing them a well rest, Nayiah nodded her head as she returned another smile with her own shyful one.~
"Same goes for you."
~Nayiah said speaking softly. It would be a little while later when Nayiah bid Jae a goodnight as she felt tired. Although once going to her room she felt her mind restless. Instead of going into the comfort of bed right away, Nayiah would sit against the window sill in thought. Then she would head to bed hours later. Her mind would be on the two people she had met, but that wasn't all that was on Nayiah's mind. She wondered what she would do from here on out.
By the time she had awoken, and went downstairs it was early morning. Although it would have been after Sarylin had left. Nayiah sat at the table alone quiet as she counted her coins wondering if she could afford something for breakfast. She pondered this, if Jaelyn made his prescence known Nayiah wouldn't have noticed unless he spoke to her.~

Jaelyn's sleep as usual was restless and disturbed by nightmares, the norm for him since he'd become afflicted. Tossing and turning the blankets would become tangled about his feet, tightening almost vice like around them, not that he would notice for the time being. Dreams of blood and gore haunted his mind, as he watched his claws rend through innocent flesh like a knife through butter. Images of his beastial form filling it's belly with the innards of his victims filled his heads and while he was horrified, and tried to stop the beast, there was nothing he could do.
Finally as the light of the morning filtered through the curtains to caress his face, pale with the images he could not awake from, did he start awake with a soft cry. Sitting up he panted lightly, lifting a hand to wipe away the sweat that soaked his brow before allowing his head to hang. His ebon black hair acting like a curtain between himself and the rest of the pleasantly quaint room he closed his eyes to try and gather himself. Always those nightmares left him feeling tired and ragged, but he couldn't go back to sleep. He didn't want to go back into their waiting arms until he absolutely had to.
After Jaelyn felt a little better he would try to move to get himself out of the bed, going to slide his feet out from under the covers to the floor but as his feet were currently tied up in the twisted cocoon of cloth he would find himself hitting the floor with a loud 'thud'. His upper body lay across the worn floor while his feet were still held captive by the blankets as he groaned softly. What a way to wake up. Untangling himseelf from the covers, he would finally pull himself free, getting up to rub the back of his head, slightly sore from having bounced against the floor upon his fall as he wandered over to the old wardrobe that sat in the room.
Opening it after he had stood in front of it and arched his back slightly to stretch out the kinks in his spine, Jae would allow his piercing gaze to fall upon the clothing that was neatly stored there. Except for what was in his trunks, these were his favored clothing and he would ponder what to wear this day. As his fingers reached for one of his silken shirts, the words of Sarylin would echo in his ears and so he stilled his hand. The girl had, had a point. He really should be more careful about what he wore... Searching visually through them all he would finally decide on a pair of tailored pants that while still high quality were not a type that called attention to that fact, in a deep black. Next, the shirt he chose was also black, but was in lesser quality to most everything he owned. It was something that he would have worn when going hunting, something he wouldn't have minded getting ruined. After pulling them on, he grabbed his boots and pulled them on, his eyes exploring the dust covered soft leather, figuring they should be fine. And lastly he would grab his only coat, a long trench coat like thing in greys, pulling it on overtop. Satisfied that he wouldn't stand out too much, he would idly wonder if the girls were still about as he eased the door to his room open and slipped out, closing it firmly behind him.
Making his way down the stairs, he would allow his eyes to wander the open first floor, looking for either of the two women he'd met the day before. Catching the sight of the green hair that belonged to Nayiah he would allow a slight smile to curl his lips as he reached the bottom of the stairs as he headed towards her. However, seeing that she sat alone, he could not help but wonder if Sarylin had left the inn already or was still sleeping.
"Good morning," Jae greeted the neko girl as he would come upon her, a congenial smile showing. "May I join you?" Asking her politely he would rest his hand upon the back of a chair, but would wait until she gave him permission to sit down before pulling it out and sitting himself gracefully in it. Unless of course, she indicated that she preferred he didn't.

~Nayiah pondered about what she was going to do with her life. Having not thought much about it, due to running a lot. Nayiah honestly wished she could just stop the running altogether. Hearing a voice speaking to her, Nayiah already was able to recognize it. Glancing up, she listened to the greeting she received from Jae. Returning his smile with her own she would return the greeting with her own.~
"Goodmoring, Jae."
~Nayiah responded softly. Though hearing Jae asking her a question, her brown eyes studied his face as she nodded silently to him. Whether that nod was an answer in itself. She would smile at Jae.~
"Sure."
~Nayiah would say. It would be her own way of offering for him to join her. Brown eyes watched him sitting down at the table with her. Glancing around, if Elzy would come by then to get their orders for breakfast, Nayiah counted her coins again wondering what she should order. Not wanting to spend them all at once, Nayiah pondered on whether or not she should just order eggs and toast. Deciding to do just that, Nayiah told Elzy her order and then thanked her. Glancing to Jae, she looked at him as she pondered what to say.~
"Did you sleep well?"
~Nayiah asked him curiously trying to make conversation at best. Giving Jae a soft shy smile.~
