“That…” her ears drooped as she shuffled a foot back, “That is a big dog.” She muttered softly watching how the animal stalked her. At least its attention left Nayiah when she managed to get the girl out of sight. Nayiah may have been upset with her, but she was trying to protect her. No blood shed. She didn’t want any more blood shed.
Trembling as the beast leaned in to sniff her, it was all it took. The frightened doe she was, took off running away from the town. There was no possible way in hell she was fast enough to leave the werewolf behind, but she was certainly running a lot faster than she normally would. Fear was a good motivator.
Dashing out of the arch way of the village, she skidded hard on her thigh –like she was sliding home in the human game of ball – in hopes to throw the beast off, even for a moment.
“Oh my god!” she hollered, perhaps it would have been better for Nayiah to be doing this. At least the girl was part animal, meaning she could run faster than her. “I’m going to die! I’m going to die!” she panted with the weakening strides of her body. Damnit, she hadn’t eaten still. All this commotion had just started when she finished counting her coins and was going to purchase supper. She was doomed, utterly doomed to be the lunch for this beast. But… but at least Nayiah was safe. The girl couldn’t move from where ever the inn keeper put her, if she was going to be killed this night then at least she help her friend go on.
“All I w-want is a shrine,” she began to tell herself, “And… and everyone to bring me gifts in… in the after life! I am not old enough for t-t-this shit!”
Perhaps if she wasn’t being chased by a massive overgrown furry beast, she might have thought this was rather funny, but for the love of the god it wasn’t.
Sweat prickled at her flesh as every muscle in her body screamed at her. Three days. Three days of no food, she pissed off a man who was probably more valiant that she could ever known, and she disabled a woman who was originally in her spot.
“They better make me a saint after this!” she panted as she felt her knees give out. Skidding hard against the forest floor, her body barrelled into a deep roll until she slammed to a painful stop. Lying face down in the dirt, her lungs felt like they were on fire as she desperately tried to swallow any saliva she had. Arms and legs shook violently as she lifted her neck up weakly to look to the abhorred sight of the beast. Tears streamed silently down her face, “Nayiah.” Her voice came out harsh and ragged. “Jaelyn… I’m sorry.” She uttered the words she wanted to say to him earlier. If only she had found him before all this, she could have made up for it and now she laid there watching as her death slowly crept upon her.
Her life rested in the fanged maw of the werewolf.

The werewolf would have continued on with sniffing at her, calmly and the like, at least until Sarylin dashed off suddenly. At first it would seem surprised but quickly recovering it lifted it's head and gave a short howl before it leaped forward and lumbered after with long strides. A rumbling growl in it's throat as it gave chase to what was now it's prey, the scent of her fear thick in it's nostrils. The scent of food...
As she skidded outside of the village, the werewolf would skid to a halt when it realized what was going on, slowed down slightly by her throwing him off just a bit. Flattening his ears a louder growl tore from his throat as he started loping after her once again, claws digging grooves in the dirt as it ran after his flagging prey. Letting up on the speed it used to chase her it would slowly slow down until it was walking towards her as she came to a stop and rolled over to look up at it.
Lips pulled back from it's teeth it growled lowly in it's throat, padding calmly over as a wolf that knew it's prey was going nowhere. As he came closer, he sniffed at her, still growling in warning that its prey shouldn't even think about trying to get away. But as her voice reached him, it would stop, looming over her as it's growl disappeared. It's ears perked up as a questioning look entered the piercing aquamarine eyes that peered down at her. His name on her lips... the werewolf would shake it's head suddenly and hard as if trying to shake something off of itself.
Inside, Jaelyn was trying to fight off the beast's instincts, something that wasn't easy. But he didn't want her to die... He'd been unconcious in awareness, and usually was during the full moon but it would seem that something that Sarylin had done had woken his self inside the beast's mind. Struggling to tell it that Sarylin was NOT prey, that she waas NOT food.
Suddenly the wolf would rear back as it lifted it's head to howl at the full moon yet again, this time it was long and drawn out, loud and echooing out. As the howl died away, it would fall back down to all fours before leaping over Sarylin and loped off into the the forest, disappearing into it's depths.

~Nayiah sighed once again alone in Sarylin's room. Her leg was bandaged now. Though her leg hurt like hell. Jae had clawed her pretty badly. But Nayiah wouldn't hold it against him. Finally able to move around again, Nayiah was thankful she was no longer helpless due to Sarylin making her body limp. Sighing she walked towards the window. Looking out she tried ignoring her pain in her leg. Nayiah had her doubts, Jae was pretty fast as a werewolf. Shuddering as she remembered how fast, worry filled her oak brown eyes. A sickening feeling wedged itself in the pit of her stomach. Color drained from her face as Nayiah could only stare out the window. Waiting in hope of Sarylin's safe return.~
“If you return...”
~Nayiah thought grimly. Though once realizing she had such a negative thought, her eyes widened in shame. Shaking her head to be rid of such a thought. She refused to cry. She couldn't think that way! Sarylin had to return. She just had to! Nayiah tried desperately to remain strong with positive thoughts, though it wasn't easy. It was a hard struggle to have to fight to keep up. If Nayiah knew how badly Sarylin had fallen and feared that werewolf Jae was going to end her life, Nayiah would've rushed out that window even though she was hurt, in fear of loosing someone so precious to her. If Nayiah was a nail bitter in stressful situations she wouldn't have any nails left either. A part of her didn't know whether to bite her nails frantically or to pace in Sarylin's room. Then again either she wore a hole through the floor or she would loose her long claw like nails. It was a lose to lose situation on her being so frantic and worried.~
“You have to make it....you just have to. Both of you...I can't loose you now...I can't!”
~Nayiah said to herself silently as she looked out the window. Fearing if she looked away she would miss their return. Nayiah was too afraid to even try to pay for a room to rest. That could wait at least. Her stomach growled in hunger but she ignored that too. At least she had ate more recently then Sarylin had.
Meanwhile the sound of horses hooves would be heard in the woods, clopping against the ground breaking into a carefree trot. The rider luckily had missed the werewolf entirely. Holding the reins to his horse. The young man gently stroked his horses mane. Because the horse sensed something that seemed to have spooked him. Calming the horse down, the man glanced in the direction ahead of him to notice someone on the ground. His opinion it looked like the woman had been slain.~
“Easy boy. Easy.”
~The young man spoke calmly to his horse as he made the horse come to a complete stop. Slowly climbing off the horse he would tie the horse's reins to the tree so that he could go towards the woman to inspect her. Wanting to make sure she was alive and to examine her in case she was severely injured. Kneeling down beside her, the man first tried to gently speak to her. His voice full of warmth and kindness.~
“Miss? Miss?”
~If she didn't answer, the man slowly rolled her over so that he could examine her better. Letting out a soft gasp as his eyes fell to her, he knew enough by feeling her body. Not in a perverse kind of way but enough to recognize an injury. Glancing at his horse then back to the woman. He tried to speak to Sarylin. If she didn't respond or if she did, either way the man would scoop Sarylin up in his arms carrying her towards the horse. He luckily was heading towards the town on business. What a coincidence too, because if he had known it was the town she had came from he would've been surprised. But he didn't think much on that. As his main concern was getting her help.~
“Don't worry miss, I'll get you help.”
~The young man promised. If she was alert enough to have her briefly sit up so he could climb onto his horse after untying it, he would adjust her so that she leaned against him for support. If she wasn't then he laid her carefully as he could over the horse. Once he cradled her in his arms and she was safe enough he brought his horse into a gallop trying to get to the town as fast as he could so she could be tended to. Once reaching the inn, he would ask the innkeeper if he knew where the healer is, luckily a healer was staying at the inn. The innkeeper directed the man towards Sarylin's room. Now Nayiah had seen them coming by looking out the window and had frantically raced down the stairs about to head out the door when she would meet up with the man who carried Sarylin up the stairs. The innkeeper led the way, with Nayiah trailing behind. Once the innkeeper had left to get the healer. Nayiah sunk to her knee's by the bed.~
“Sarylin! Sarylin!”
~Nayiah cried frantically. By the time the healer came in, the man left Sarylin in the healers care. And only Nayiah remained in the room. Giving the healer her space to work, Nayiah stared out the window wondering if Jae was alright. Glancing back to look at Sarylin she worried for Sarylin's condition. Did Jae do this to her? She wondered with fear.~

Watching the werewolf let out the ear piercing howl, Sarylin wasn’t sure what the hell happened. Why did it run off? She was prime for picking and yet… her mind bubbled with questions that she was certain never would be answered.
Gritting her teeth together, she turned enough to see the broken branch pressed into her side, blood fresh pooling beneath her. That was another reason why she was confused, wouldn’t the wolf want to eat her after smelling that? She didn’t understand but then again she wasn’t going to curse the gods for it.
She didn’t move in fear of jostling around the timber and tearing herself open more but she was still very awake. Sickness bubbled in her stomach as the searing pain in muscles and side forced her to stay awake, she would have loved to pass out by now.
“Give me strength… father.” She squeezed her eyes tightly making the tears roll over her cheeks.
Ears twitched at the sound of hooves as she heard the sudden commotion of the man rushing over to her.
His hands touched her in attempt to move her, she hollered out in pain. It was a stupid idea to move her when they didn’t know that she was currently impaled. “Get away from me,” she snapped at the man. She knew he was trying to help, but it was obviously daft. “If you want to bloody well helpful boy scout, go get a damn healer. I know there is one staying inside the village at the inn, you blasted fool.” Sarylin hissed through her anger, sickness and pain. She knew he was trying to help, but he was doing it a very bad way.
“Don’t just stand there you moron, go!” she let out a shaky breath. “Man can’t a girl die in peace without someone trying to save her.” she muttered when he was out of ear shot. She was in a foul mood now.
Though he did do a good job, he retrieved the healer making her anxious annoyance dissipate slightly. Using the skills only a true white magic healer had, they were able to remove the limb from her belly but that did little for the spurge of blood.
Black dots fluttered around her vision as she felt her body turn icy cold. Then it was nothing. No sound, no touch, nothing.
Sarylin would have been taken back to the inn while she passed out from the massive about of blood loss, where the healer would have requested to work alone and quietly. Not to be disturbed by anyone. Not even by the great holy lord above was to bother the healer, if they had an ounce of luck in keeping her within the realm of the living.

~The man had apologized and went for help. Once Sarylin however was brought back after the healer had tended to her in the woods, Nayiah left worry filling her eyes as she went to pay for her own room. Once that was done, she waited in her own paid room holding onto Jae's coins. A sick feeling increasing in her gut making her want to hurl. Loosing her appetite there was no way she wanted to even think of food right now. Considering what happened to Sarylin and herself. But it was mainly what had happened to Sarylin that had turned her off wanting anything to eat. Even though Nayiah was exhausted she fought sleep due to worrying about her friend. Hoping Sarylin lived through this somehow. The man who had helped Sarylin was no where in sight after doing his job though once all was done he had asked how Sarylin was. Though he would go stay with a friend he had in the town.
Ignoring her growling stomach, Nayiah paced repeatedly inside her room. Gently brushing her hair from her face, oak brown eyes gazed back out the window. Hoping Jae would be alright too. Though she was thankful he wasn't around to notice how afraid she was. Hoping he wouldn't remember how frightened she was for her life when he had stalked her earlier. Setting her coins down on the bed table beside the bed, Nayiah fell onto the bed as she sighed. Rubbing her tired eyes she yawned. Though still refusing to sleep, Nayiah decided she needed to buy a new outfit before deciding to leave the town, whenever that was going to be. There was no way she was going to leave with Sarylin the way she was. She didn't have a home, where else was she going to go besides wondering around? Placing Jae's money onto the table as well, Nayiah had a hard time releasing his bag as her mind went to wonder about him.~
“Jae what is to become of you?”
~Nayiah whispered quietly to herself. Speaking to only herself. Even though she had accidentally spoke out loud, she had spoken alone in her room. Hoping she would know soon if Sarylin was going to be alright. Having it tough waiting it out in her room, she sighed pushing herself up off the bed as she decided to sit beside Sarylin's door that way she could find out her condition from the healer whenever the woman would finish up with Sarylin. Making a silent prayer for Sarylin to pull through. Gently wiping any stranded tears that fell down onto her face.~
“Sarylin please make it through.”
~Nayiah pleaded in silence.~

The werewolf ran quickly through the trees, easily maneuvering about and through branches, leaping over a log from a long fallen tree before coming to a stop again. It was annoyed, it had caught prey, prey that was injured and dying but Jae hadn't let it. Had told it that the prey was bad to eat and wasn't to. So begrudgingly had left the dying elf to die on it's own. Now it was seeking out prey that it was allowed to eat.
Sniffing the air as it lifted it's head, the werewolf would eventually locate a herd of deer nearby. Licking it's chops in anticipation it would take off and went to hunt the animals.
The chase didn't take very long as the werewolf had snuck around, not allowing the animals to smell it's presence before pouncing one of the larger bucks, sinking it's razor sharp teeth into it's neck and quickly severing the main arteries with a gush of blood. But it would make it struggle only shortly before the life faded from it's eyes.
Ignoring the panic of the rest of it's herd as they ran off, leaping through the bushes and the like, they would leave the werewolf alone with it's meal. The sound of ripping pelt and meat filled the area as the werewolf used it's teeth to tear through it with ease, quickly devouring the raw bloody meat until almost nothing but bones and inedible parts remained.
The rest of the night it would continue it's hunting and devouring until it was fully sated, and once that was accomplished the werewolf would go to find a safe place to curl up for the night.

Eyes jolted open as she flung herself upwards only to dry heave over the edge of the bed, Sarylin shook as she gripped the straw mattress in her hands. What the hell happened? Where was she and, -she looked down to herself to see her chest had been exposed to be bandaged – Who had undressed her! The heated angered blush spread through her freckled cheeks as she rolled herself back down to the mattress. It stung, throbbed and made it very uncomfortable to do much but lay there, very stilly.
Morning light filtered through the light curtains of the room she currently resided it, only to make her growl in frustration. She recalled the night easily, being chased by the lumbering beast of fur and teeth only to gouge herself on the forest floor. She yelled at someone, who she had no idea and then… it was hazy. There was a healer and a couple others but that was were she felt weak in the mind.
Gingerly lifting a hand to probe the sensitive skin of her bandaged belly, Sarylin cursed at herself. Why did she poke it, she knew it hurt and yet she did. “Great, battle scars.” She pouted somewhat.
Her stomach growled absurdly loud making her shoulders fall in defeat. “Okay like I know alright. Food, sorta hard when I can’t move you damn stomach. But feel free to use the exit to your right that was newly created last night and help yourself.” She flustered at herself. This was so ridiculous now she was talking to stomach. How delusional was she?
“At least they could have left me a steel cup so I could bang it on something.” Sarylin spoke quietly. “Wait… where is?” her ears perked since the rest of her couldn’t. “Nayiah.” She still had no idea of where Jaelyn was though she assumed he had left yesterday do to her poor behavior.
“Someone.” She called, “Anyone, the prisoner of her own body would like an audience with anyone!”

That night would be one of the few nights that Jaelyn didn't suffer from nightmares, then again he never did during the Full moon due to the fact that it was mainly the Beast in control and so it had no reason to show him such images. Although it also meant he had no idea what had really happened with Sarylin. Despite the fact it had been his mind that made the Beast leave her alone, he hadn't been truly aware at the time and as such it would take his dreams to give him the memory. But he did remember shifting in front of Nayiah this time and that he had told her to run. But had she? He didn't know...
Waking up in the forest, he was glad at least he got to keep his clothing, but the fact they got stained with blood was always a pain in the ass. After getting what he could out of his hair, he would track down a river and despite it's chilling waters, Jaelyn would wade in and washed himself off and what he could of his clothing, hanging his clothes to dry in the warm sunlight for a few hours. When they were at least dry enough to wear, he put them back on and headed back to the village. Moving carefully along, Jaelyn kept his eyes open for anyone that was whispering or even looking suspicious of him. But seeing none he would relax a little, since no one seemed to have seen him change.
Eventually finding the back alley that he had been knocked out in, Jae would go down it to find his pack, which he eventually would. Slinging it over his shoulder after that, he would look around, a relieved sigh crossing his lips. There was no blood, no whispers, nothing around so it would seem that Nayiah must be alright since there'd be evidence of death still around.
Satisfied at least with that, Jaelyn would start leaving the alley, stopping long enough to give the tavern a wistful look but having had his coin stolen he couldn't afford it. And so he'd turn away from it and started on his way...

~Nayiah couldn't take much more of waiting, as her stomach growled hungry. Rising to her feet, Nayiah left the hallway by Sarylin's room door as she decided to head back to her room, shoving the coins back inside her dress pockets. She walked trying to ignore the pain in her leg as it wasn't as bad as it had been when Jae had first attacked her. Leaving the inn she contemplated whether or not to head outside, deciding to buy herself something to eat. Nayiah pondered about getting something for Sarylin in case she woke up and was hungry. Though she honestly didn't know what Sarylin liked to eat. Going to the baker's she bought fresh warm bread.
Nayiah bought enough for herself to eat as well as a loaf of bread for Sarylin. Heading outside of the bakers after paying the baker coins for two loaves of bread. Nayiah wondered outside. Not expecting to run into anyone she knew as she headed back towards the inn wondering if she should ask Sarylin what else she could get her for food. That would be around the time she would end up bumping into Jae. Relief showed on her face, though she looked a bit frightened. It would take her a bit to exhale as she looked at Jae.~
“Your alright!”
~Nayiah would say happy that he was. Or so it seemed it looked alright. Not expecting Jae to notice her injured leg that hadn't been there before besides a part of her dress missing. Her eyes widened remembering that she had forgotten something. Slipping a hand inside her right pocket, she pulled out a bag of coins. Taking Jae's hand with her injured arm that wasn't as bad, she gently placed the bag of coins in his hands.~
“I was going to give you this before....well I would've...before what had happened.”
~Nayiah had said softly. Almost unsure if she should remind him about it or what. Her hands left touching him as she placed her good hand back to holding the bread properly with both of her hands. Nayiah wouldn't mention that he had tried to kill her or that it was pretty much dog hate cat. Shuddering at that thought it was best she didn't tell him. Because she didn't want Jae to feel bad. Though she glanced at him and then the bread.~
“Sarylin will be alright too...I'm sure of it. A healers been with her for awhile so I don't know whats going on. I figured I would get her some food. In case she was hungry afterwards but I don't know what she likes.”
~Nayiah spoke quietly. She wondered if she should ask Jae if he wanted to see Sarylin but she didn't ask. Looking at him she waited listening to anything he had to say. Hoping he wasn't taking this all hard on himself. It was evident she did truly know he was a werewolf considering she had watched him transform again and well she hadn't been dreaming.~

Her brow was furrowed deeply as she wish she had something to do honestly; anything that required little moving but was still entertaining. During the entire trip from the snow capped mountains -in which she lived – she had left her lute behind. She wasn't that great, but at least it kept her busy.
Lying in bed let her dwell on thoughts, and that was never a good thing.
Fingers drummed on her biceps as she held her arms crossed over her chest; thinking. Dwelling. Brooding.
That damned beast. Sarylin gritted her teeth, never in her life had she ever seen such a creature and then suddenly two nights in a row she had. The same one as well, the black fur was a dead give away. Though those eyes... those eyes were a startling beauty.
She hadn't seen them really the first time, she didn't take in the lumbering beast but last night she had no choice. It wasn't even remotely the same. The first time it seemed so intelligent but that wasn't the case last night. No, it was just completely wild and starving with her on its menu. But it never happened, it took off after she injured herself that only made her question it.
Sighing heavily, Sarlyin winced with the striking pain in her side before she pursed her lips. She had learnt from many teachings of her father and even other beings that she shouldn't damn any other creature but she found herself bitter at the idea of the werewolf. It chased Nayiah and hurt her. And then she stuck her neck out for it to have a meal and it seemed to reject her. Thank goodness, but still she was beginning to really despise the idea of werewolf. Perhaps it was because of the first night, she had wanted it to get away from the guards before it was killed and in return it decided to make her and Nayiah its dinner.
“Stupid mongrel.” her lips formed the worlds with ill taste.
If she had known about Nayiah being ever so sweet and trying to get her food; she might have actually shed a tear for her. She knew the girl didnt have much in the way of coins -not knowing she had stolen some pair of drunks purses- so it would have touched her heart. But if she had learnt that she ran into Jaelyn and stated that she was alright... she would have been fuming.
After everything they had done to one another last night, she wanted to find him on her own to apologize though she would doubt he would ever come to see her. Not after she behaved.
Perhaps that was for the best; she had to let go of the idea of Jaelyn. She mind should have been focused on returning home; home to the cozy comfort of her childhood and back to the warmth of her fathers work. She missed everyone dearly.
Lifting to comb back her bangs, her eyes adjusted to glance out the window to the beautiful day. “If only...” she didnt finish the sentence but moved on to retye her hair back into the short pony tail. She had lost one of the spotted hawk feathers in the scuffle last night as she could see the other was across the room on a small work table.
She prayed silently to herself that she would never see the wolf again – her body shuttered with the thought of the beast – she knew her fear of him was only growing.

Hearing the distinctive voice of Nayiah as she called out that he was alright, his ears would lift slightly as he perked up and whirled around to look at her, his hair fanning out slightly with his sudden movement. Eyes widening at the sight of her he would move towards her, meeting her halfway from where she had been standing. Looking her over, he would start, seeing the bandaging on her leg. But at least either then that, she seemed fine.
"I'm so glad that your ok Nayiah. I... I have no memories after... after the change takes place. And I was afraid I'd seriously hurt you," Jae exclaimed his relief before dropping his voice down to tell her about his lack of memory, although he frowned towards her leg. "Did I do that?" He asked her, his bright aqua eyes studying her face intently for any sign of a lie in case she tried it.
"Thank you for not telling anyone about my... illness," Jaelyn expressed to her, taking a step back as he let a heavy sigh deflate his chest, raking fingers through his bangs and to push back his hair slightly. Although when she would grab his hand, he would be a little surprised as she placed his coin purse into his hand, blinking. "Oh! How did you get this from that thief?" He asked her curiously, before quickly lifting his free hand as he pocketed his coin purse with other. "You know what, never mind. Thank you Nayiah for returning it to me. But I have to leave, and hopefully for your sake this will be the last you ever see of me. Thank you for your kindness. Good bye Nayiah." Jaelyn would cut off anything she had started to say if she had after he'd asked her how she'd gotten it from the thief. It wasn't important for him to know, at least not as important for him to put as much distance from the village and himself. Maybe if things went well for him he'd find a nice cave somewhere that he could live in and wander from now and then to do odd jobs and buy supplies.
Turning away from her, he would have started to walk away, but at the mention of Sarylin's name his ears twitched lightly and he froze in place. He hadn't even known she was here in town. He knew she'd been heading this way but besides that he hadn't had any idea. "What do you mean Sarylin WILL be alright?" Jae asked her without turning around, keeping his back to her, his ebon hair falling forward to hide his face as he hung his head a little. He felt terrible inside about what had happened between the two of them, and didn't wish her any harm, but he didn't want to see her.
No, scratch that. He wanted to see her, bad. But it was better that he didn't, because she hated him and he was a werewolf. Because he was cursed to change into a slavering beast whenever the moon rose full or his emotions got the better of him. And that girl... no that woman... had a way of getting him worked up. Clenching his fists, he would will himself to calm down as he took deep, steadying breaths, keeping his eyes shut for the time being, until he was calmer anyways. And if she ever got hurt because of him....
Shaking those thoughts away quickly, he would tell himself it didn't matter because he would not be seeing her again. He was going far away, to make sure that didn't happen. Jae would tell himself what was quickly becoming his mantra; it was all for the best...

~If Nayiah had known about Sarylin and Jae having had fights, Nayiah wouldn't have mentioned about Sarylin. Nayiah pondered on what to get Sarylin to eat, deciding on some nice hot vegetable stew for Sarylin. Hoping that would be something her friend would like. Because Nayiah didn't know if Sarylin liked meat or did. So deciding to play it safe, she decided vegetable stew would be fine for now. Seeing Jae had made all of Nayiah's worries go away for the time being.
Studying his handsome features, Nayiah gave him a sweet smile. Jae was so handsome and beautiful. Nayiah loved his hair. She had been tempted to just run her fingers through it to see if it felt silky. But deciding that wasn't wise, Nayiah had refrained herself from doing that at all. Instead she admired it from a distance. Oak brown eyes watched Jae as he moved towards her. A smile showed on her face. It was as clear as day she didn't hold what had happened against him.
Being so forgiving. Nayiah had already came to the conclusion that Jae wasn't the same during the full moon as he had been that previous time when he had attacked the noblemen. Figuring it had been to try and protect both Sarylin and herself. It had to be that reason that had triggered him to change, right? At least that's what Nayiah thought to herself. Questioning herself. Realizing Jae had noticed her bandaged leg, Nayiah glanced down looking at it briefly then returned to looking at Jae. Hearing Jae's words, concern showed in Nayiah's eyes.~
“I am alright, Jae. I was so worried that something bad would happen to you. That must be horrible not being able to remember anything.”
~Nayiah said as she walked the remaining way towards him. Stopping to look at him she rested her hands along at her sides. Though hearing Jae's words again, emotion held on her face as she wiped a tear from her cheek.~
“Don't be afraid....I know it wasn't the real you, Jae. I'm alright. Just a leg wound. Though never had I felt like it was a cat and dog moment.”
~Nayiah said trying to cheer him up even though she wasn't smiling. She was trying to make Jae feel better because she didn't hold it against him. Rubbing her bandaged arm, she would study his face. Glancing at his head wound from before. She wondered if it wasn't hurting him anymore. Though noticing Jae's frown. Nayiah listened to his question. Glancing again at her leg, she returned looking back at Jae. Gazing at those beautiful eyes of his. If she had known he would have recognized a lie if she had tried it, she wouldn't know what to think or say. But Nayiah wasn't about to lie. Nayiah thought lying only made things much worse. Brushing her emerald hair from her face, so that she could see better.~
“Believe me it isn't as bad as you think. Mainly got my dress ripped. And scratched my leg. I won't lie to you, Jae. That's not my thing. But I was afraid, but it's understandable. I know it wasn't you. Because I know you wouldn't want to hurt me. It's why you told me to run. I was the dumb one who didn't run right away...I was afraid for you. But yeah you did. But don't worry about it alright. It's forgiven and forgotten.”
~Hearing Jae thank her, Nayiah listened to his words. Giving him an understanding nod, Nayiah gave him a gentle smile. She wouldn't betray Jae. His secret was safe with her. And she wouldn't tell a soul. It would die with her. Now Nayiah had no control if anyone else ever found out about it their own way. But Nayiah had already decided due to Sarylin not believing her that she wouldn't try telling her friend again. Perhaps it was for the best anyways.~
“Your welcome, Jae. I'm sorry about before...in the healers place...I hadn't meant to....come off too loud. Thankfully no one had heard because I was listening to anyone talking before I had left. I'm sure I had upset the women but I wanted to see you again, I wanted to see Sarylin too. Please know your illness is safe with me, alright. I won't tell anyone about it.”
~Nayiah said. She spoke the truth. Noticing the surprise, she hadn't meant to overstep any boundaries with Jae. It was just she wanted to give back what was his. Though hearing Jae's question she was about to answer him as her mouth was open only to shut it back up when he had spoken again. Hearing Jae thanking her she nodded her head and smiled.~
“Your welcome, Jae. I had wanted to return it earlier...but I didn't get the chance to. I hoped I would have that chance. How's the head injury?”
~Nayiah asked him concern evident in her eyes. A part of her wanted to gently caress his face. To give Jae someone who cared and could comfort him as his friend. Though hearing Jae thanking her again, speaking about kindness she blushed hearing those words. Though she frowned hearing him mentioning about leaving. Hearing the word “good bye” made her look somewhat fearful. She stayed standing there. How could he wish she wouldn't ever see him again? Was it his need to protect her and make sure he didn't harm her ever again? Nayiah decided to herself that was the reason. Wiping tears that started to fall from her face, she ran to him as he had started to walk away and threw her arms around his waist in a warm hug.~
“Please don't push me away, Jae. You owe me a nice big hug...please let this be my way of goodbye okay? And please listen...”
~Nayiah said her voice sounding too raw with emotion as she cried. She didn't want him to leave. She didn't want to not see Jae ever again. She cared too much about him. He had affected her life in mainly good ways. Had touched her heart. No one had been so sweet and kind towards her like he had been. Like Sarylin as well.~
“Look, I understand why your doing this...you don't want to hurt me, or Sarylin. Right? I understand, though a part of me disagrees. I won't stop you, Jae from leaving if that's what you choose. Because that's not who I am. But Jae, please know I'll always want to see you. No matter what. Sure I was scared when you aren't the sweet kind man I got to know. But it doesn't change how I feel about you, and how I care. You've touched my life and my heart in more ways then you could know. I was so lonely before meeting you and Sarylin. You both have touched my heart. Where ever you are, I'll always be thinking about you. There will always be a special place in my heart...”
~Nayiah said holding onto Jae. She wanted him to hear her out, then she would gladly let him leave.~
“I'll never forget you. I'll never stop being your friend. I know your trying to protect me, by saying you hope I'll never see you again. Maybe I'm crazy but I don't care. I want to see you again, Jae. A lot. But if you have to leave. Please don't forget me. Don't forget your friends. I know your a good man. Be safe, okay?”
~Nayiah said as she released Jae after giving him a final hug. Her hug held warmth in it. If she had felt comfortable she would have kissed Jae on the cheek too but she had stopped herself from doing that. Deciding a double hug would have to suffice. Nayiah had turned starting to walk after she had mentioned Sarylin. Though hearing Jae's voice questioning her made her stop in her tracks and turn to look at him. Sighing Nayiah fiddled with her bandaged arm.~
“She decided to hit me so that I would be limp to save me. Got the innkeeper to put me inside. Where I was helpless to do anything. She ran off trying to have you follow her. I don't know what happened from there, except from what I had overheard the healer talking to the innkeeper over. It seems Sarylin had fallen down while running and had landed on something that injured her pretty badly. It was touch and go for awhile. I refused sleep...I didn't hold it against her what she did to me. But I felt so bad for her. I didn't want to do anything until I knew she would be alright. I somehow just know she will be. I overheard the healer talking to herself as I heard her thank her God.”
~Nayiah answered Jae. Staring at his back. Nayiah walked slowly over to where Jae was gently placing a hand on his arm. She would only do that briefly as he was silent. If she knew he was thinking something, Nayiah would've honestly wondered what.~
“Jae...is there anything you want me to tell Sarylin for you?”
~Nayiah asked him, trying to offer him help with anything. She would honestly miss Jae, a lot too. Waiting for Jae to answer. If Jae spoke she nodded listening to his words.~
“I'll miss you, Jae. Please take care of yourself. I don't want any harm to come to you.”
~Nayiah spoke softly though enough for him to hear if he listened. If Jae left Nayiah said goodbye to him. And would head off crying silent tears for him. Carrying the bread in her one arm, Nayiah headed to pay for some vegetable soup. And headed to bring it to Sarylin. Once back inside the inn, Nayiah headed for Sarylin's room. Though she wondered if her friend was asleep. Knocking on Sarylin's door, she waited for an answer. If Sarylin gave it, Nayiah entered her room carrying hot warm vegetable stew and a loaf of bread for her. Setting it on the table nearby the bed, Nayiah placed her loaf of bread on a table further away so that she could eat it later.~
“I brought you some food, Sarylin. I ummm...didn't know what you like....so I settled on vegetable stew. I hope that's alright.”
~Nayiah said as she had long since wiped tears from her face. Though her face was raw from crying. That it was obvious she had been. And a lot from what it looked like. If Sarylin asked what was wrong, Nayiah would tell her she had ran into Jae. Leaving out the werewolf part. Nayiah explained Jae decided to leave, and that she may not see him again. She also mentioned Jae had been hurt, and robbed. But that she had found his money and returned it to him. If Jae had given Nayiah any message to tell Sarylin. Then she would rely that to Sarylin as well.~

Hearing the gentle knocl at the door she was quick to reply, allowing them to enter. By now she would have welcomed the grim reaper in foout some company.
Seeing the brown eyes of the far more friendly face, Sarylin was happy to see Nayiah was alright. Well as good as expected as she took note of her leg and how red her cheeks were.
"Nayiah are you alright?" Her nose caught the smell of the food making her attention drop to the loaf of bread and stew. Her mouth watered as sue happily thanked Nayiah for bringing anything. It could have been stale and she would have still been happy as a pig in a mud puddle. Taking the stew she let out a gleeful whine "oh god i think i should marry you." Sarylin put the spoon into her mouth with a groan.
Tapping her foot on the bed, she gestured for the neko to sit down. "so tell me what is going on and..." Sarylin wilted her ears some, "sorry for what i did to you Nayi. i just wanted to protect you but that doesnt mean i shouldve hit you." she apologized sincerely.
"so what is going on? You ran into Jaelyn...i thought he left long ago." She muttered the last bit. Studying Nayi she smiled warmly to the girl. " you really like him dont you?" Sarylin enquired

Jaelyn would give a heavy sigh as she threw her arms around him, feeling like every moment that he was delayed his heart was going to crack. Sarylin wasn't far away and Nayiah the sweet kid didn't want him to go. How unfair was this? Finally coming to terms that'd be alone and it was flaunted in his face...
"Thanks Nayiah, really. But your best to just forget about me," Jae would speak gruffly as he gently pryed her arms off of him and pushed her to a short distance from him. "If I'd had any siblings, I wish I could've had a sister like you Nayiah. Goodbye." He wouldn't address most of what she said as there was just too much that he couldn't say, didn't know what to say and the like. And when asked if there was anything that he wanted her to tell Sarylin, he would shake his head no.
Regardless of what she might try after that, he would leave the village as quickly as his feet could take him. He couldn't linger any longer without fearing he'd not leave at all. Sometimes he had to curse at his own sappiness. And this was one of those times. Sighing heavily as he stopped at the village gates, he glanced back at the inn before shaking his head and turning to continue outwards again.
Jaelyn would head into the forest from there, and walked all day and evening only stopping once to eat something, finally finishing off the rest of the food Elzy had made him. And only when night was falling would he stop. Climbing a tree in the forest he would stash his pack and his things including his clothes. It wasn't like there was anyone around now to see him in the buff anyways and it was easier to get blood off skin then clothes anyhow.
After doing so, he would pace the small clearing he had found as he waited for the full moon to rise, trying to keep his mind from those he considered friends. It was difficult but the time would pass quickly enough.
It would be a typical night at least for his werewolf self and the morning would find him laying in the clearing he'd started in, which he'd be glad for. To be safe he was going to spend one more night in the forest to make sure the full moon was over, and then he would decide what to do from there...

~Nayiah wasn't trying to flaunt anything in Jae's face. She was only trying to say goodbye to him the best way she knew how. Truth was she felt a lot for Jae she hadn't even come to grasp in thought. And both Jae and Sarylin had touched her so much. They both meant a great deal to her more then anything else in this world. Her ears furrowed hearing Jae's words. Even though he had thanked her, that wasn't what made her ears furrow in the first place. How could she forget about him. Deciding it was best not to argue with Jae, she sighed as her hands were pried from his waist. Even as he pushed her away from him a bit, she wouldn't say anything. Hiding the hurt very well. Although what Jae said to her next made her look surprised. Nayiah wasn't sure how to respond to that. Though she realized that she hadn't wanted to be like a sister to Jae, if he had any siblings. Hearing Jae's goodbye she nodded her head in silence.
Lowering her head she felt somewhat defeated as she watched Jae leave pretty fast at that. She hadn't meant to make him feel uncomfortable. As soon as Jae was out of sight would have been when she really cried. Heading back towards the inn she continued crying. Although she would have tried to wipe all the tears from her face to try to hide the fact she had been crying from Sarylin. It was obvious she hadn't done a good job. And since there was nothing to tell Sarylin from Jae, she wouldn't pass any messages along from him. Holding the food, Nayiah entered Sarylin's room once she was allowed to enter. Nayiah glanced quickly at Sarylin, glad that Sarylin seemed in better spirits. It meant to Nayiah that Sarylin was a lot better then previous. Which had terribly worried her.
Though hearing Sarylin's question, made her sigh. Debating what she should say. Though she was relieved as she noticed Sarylin's attention going to the food she had brought for Sarylin. Hearing Sarylin's thanks, Nayiah nodded her head responding with a soft “your welcome”. Oak brown eyes watched Sarylin take the stew, though a confused look appeared on Nayiah's face as she listened to the whine. Though Nayiah blinked hearing Sarylin mention marriage. Backing away she held up her hands, not able to help mistaking that for Sarylin referring to Nayiah and her getting married. A common mistake. Nayiah wasn't into girls. A soft blush crept on her cheeks but not noticeable due to the fact her cheeks were already red from crying over having to see Jae walk out of her life. Hearing Sarylin groaning while eating the stew almost made Nayiah feel like she had walked in on Sarylin having sex or something.
Wondering if she should give Sarylin some space, so that she could be alone. About to turn and leave the room, though Nayiah would come to a complete stop. Nayiah's back would be turned so she wouldn't have noticed the gesture to come sit with her on the bed. Though it was Sarylin speaking that had caused her to stop. Turning around, sadness was evident in her expression. How in the world was she going to express this one. About what was going on and how she felt? Nayiah wondered sadly. As Sarylin apologized for hitting her, Nayiah shook her head and shrugged.~
“It's alright, Sarylin. I knew you only did it to try to protect me. I already forgot it.”
~Nayiah answered accepting Sarylin's apology. Although hearing Sarylin asking her again that same question. Nayiah sighed as she walked over to Sarylin's bed. Hearing Sarylin mentioning Jae, Nayiah nodded sitting down quietly on Sarylin's bed.~
“Jae was robbed earlier by a thief. Who attacked him, and left him robbed and terribly injured. I had to attend Jae's wound. He was bleeding from being hit in the head. With what it looked like was wood. But before I had noticed Jae, I had ran into that same thief, who bumped into me, and dropped Jae's bag of coins. I pocketed it and would have returned it to Jae, when that werewolf had showed up....”
~Nayiah answered beginning to answer Sarylin's question. Leaving out Jae being that werewolf she tried not to lie either. Her hand would gently brush the emerald hair from her face as she sighed. Her eyes looked puffy from all the crying she had done previously.~
“Well this next part you pretty much know about...basically I was too busy trying to not be the werewolf's meal. When it clawed me, I didn't want to admit it, but I was so scared that what if I'm to be cursed too...I don't remember if it's a scratch from a werewolf or a bite...from how stories go. But I don't know...I feel okay...it hurts but I don't feel nothing else...perhaps it was a bite then...thankfully I didn't get that.”
~Nayiah answered sighing as she thought about Jae. Remembering all he had said to her only made her more heartbroken. Did all Nayiah mean to Jae was a kid? Nayiah wasn't a kid....and really like a sister? It certainly wasn't something Nayiah wanted to be referred to. She glanced at Sarylin as she continued explaining what happened.~
“Anyways it wasn't until after you had been brought back, and with the healer...I had been waiting in my paid room for awhile, then fighting sleep and hunger I went outside to go buy some bread when I bumped into Jae again. I was so relieved he was safe. I returned his coins, which he thanked me. We talked, he told me he was leaving and that he hoped we wouldn't ever have to see him again. That broke my heart...I don't want to not see Jae again....I want to see him again. I know he has some things he needs to deal with. I understand them...it's just...I'll miss him a lot.”
~Nayiah said. She was thankful she was all cried out. Otherwise the crying would have started all over again. Sighing she gazed at her hands. It would be when she glanced briefly at Sarylin when she had noticed the warm smile. Although hearing Sarylin's next question caused Nayiah to blush. Did Sarylin seriously just ask her that? She did! Nayiah couldn't believe it. Gulping as if she had somehow forgotten to breath so suddenly, those oak brown eyes widening in surprise.~
“Ummm....”
~Nayiah would say wondering what she should say in response. Although she sighed realizing she hadn't really thought about it until knowing he was gone. Lowering her head the pain was obvious on her face. She looked so defeated. Nodding in response. Nayiah glanced back at Sarylin.~
“Yes...I really do like him. I didn't really think how much I felt for Jae, until knowing he was walking out of my life...and that I may never see him again. Not like how I feel really makes much of a difference.”
~Nayiah said sadly. Glancing at Sarylin she wanted to ask her friends condition because this wasn't all about Nayiah.~
“Are you doing much better? Will you be alright, Sarylin? You had me worried.”
~Nayiah said showing true concern for her dear friend. ~

Eating slowly as she listened to the words of Nayiah about the entire circumstances, she hummed, awed at the appropriate times and giggled slyly when she heard Nayiah admit to her about Jae.
“Hey come on now Nayiah, don’t think too much on it. You and I both barely know Jae, so how can you honestly say you like him like him? Its only been what? Three days, four maybe. I think you are reading into it far too much, you are a sweet…” Sarylin stopped as she eyed her, “Kid? Are you a kid, I don’t know neko ages. I mean if your not, im sorry. You just look so sweet and cute that its hard to think of you as an adult-” Sarylin slapped a hand to her forehead as she rambled. “Sorry Nayiah, I don’t mean any offence. Hell if it makes you feel better, I am nothing but a toddler in my culture still.”
Sarylin began to spurt off at the mouth, “Jae is an elf like me, so he probably thinks the same way as I do. We are raise in such a way that appearances are misleading. So even if you are like a hundred million years old, you look like your what… fourteen?” Sarylin eyed her, “He might think it would be a pedophile meets baby.”
She bruntly stuffed the spoon back into her mouth feeling a little stupid for saying all that. She didn’t know Nayiah at all and here she was telling her that she was silly for liking Jae.
In her mind, Nayiah was crazy! No one could like someone that fast, no one. And if they did, it usually lead to the famous one night stand.
Keeping the spoon in her mouth for a moment more, Sarylin sighed as she pulled it out. “Look Nayiah, I don’t know why you see anything in that boob anyways. He is so… smug and stuffy.” She was thinking about the start of there fight, “He is nice but he is way out of your-” her eyes widened as she flushed royally. She was just going to say Jaelyn was out of her league, though it was pretty much true.
Slapping a hand to her chest, she cringed with the sudden movement. “He is way out of my league too! I mean come on…” she laughed nervously, “He is still of noble blood, we are suppose to be licking his boots.”
Sarylin laughed very uncomfortably as she hung her head. What a idiot she was.

~Although hearing Sarylin's words caused Nayiah to look at Sarylin. Hearing Sarylin's question, Nayiah sighed her ears drooping as she looked away from her friend. Rising up, Nayiah moved to go peer out Sarylin's window like she had previously when Sarylin and Jae had been out there.~
“Forget I said anything...okay?”
~Nayiah said quietly sounding rather embarrassed. Cheeks blushing as she stared out the window. Glancing at Sarylin she didn't think Sarylin was speaking to be mean towards her. Nayiah couldn't help the crush she was having on Jae. She honestly hadn't wanted to even mentioned about it to Sarylin either. Though she didn't believe in lying. Though Nayiah guessed she could have mentioned she didn't want to answer that. But that was also not easy to say to someone she considered her friend. Deciding to not answer most that Sarylin had said, except for questions. At the mention of kid, Nayiah shook her head again. Sighing. She always hated being called a kid. Not really thinking much about other races and it being different for them.~
“I don't consider being seventeen as a kid. But that's just me. Then again I guess ever race is different. But even if my own race called me that, it doesn't mean I like being referred to one. I would like to think I'm grown up in a sense.”
~Nayiah answered Sarylin. Hearing Sarylin apologizing. Nayiah gave her a soft smile. Shrugging it off pretty much.~
“It's alright, Sarylin.”
~Nayiah answered, accepting her apology. Although hearing the mention of her being sweet and cute, caused Nayiah to blush. After all she wasn't use to being called either. Considering she spent a lot of time around no one, and not having a home. Nayiah even wondered what she was going to do after this town. Or where she was going to go. Eyes studying Sarylin's movements. Hearing another apology made Nayiah shake her head.~
“No offence taken. So don't worry about it, Sarylin.”
~Nayiah assured her friend. Accepting Sarylin's apology yet again. Surprise showed hearing Sarylin refer to her own age in her own culture. Raising her brow she was about to ask Sarylin if she was serious, but decided not to.~
“Oh..”
~Nayiah said instead, not realizing she had even said that. Hearing Sarylin's explanation about Jae. Nayiah nodded in silence. If Nayiah had known what Sarylin was thinking. Nayiah would have been extremely shocked. Nayiah wasn't the kind of young lady who would have accepted doing a one night stand. She was more the committed type. But it wasn't like Nayiah expected that from Jae. Right now she had been simply happy just being his friend. Though not like she could be that right now, considering Jae had separated himself from them for their protection. She understood that, accepted it. Though she honestly wished there was something she could have done to make it easier for Jae. Nayiah had no idea how he felt. Remembering Jae's words about not remembering after transforming made her face pale. That would be just the worse thing too. Poor Jae. Nayiah thought grimly.
Although hearing Sarylin's next words, sadness showed in her eyes hearing Sarylin mention some words, she didn't exactly agree on. Let alone believe Jae was like. Confusion showed on her face. Why was Sarylin saying mean things about Jae? Nayiah wondered.~
“Did something happen between you and Jae to make you so annoyed at him, Sarylin?”
~Nayiah asked changing the subject. She didn't think Jae was a boob, or smug or stuffy. And if he had seemed that way. Nayiah had a feeling that he had done it to protect Sarylin. Even if she wouldn't have agreed with it. Though Nayiah thought that. Listening to Sarylin's response with great care, Nayiah honestly felt bad for Sarylin too. Though when Sarylin had stopped in mid sentence saying something. Nayiah knew what her friend was going to say. Nayiah already knew that she was out of Jae's league due to his status as a noble, even though he was outcast. But it wasn't just that. It was the fact he was a werewolf. Although Nayiah would have accepted him regardless it was more so even trying to be his friend wasn't going to happen when he worried about hurting them. Nayiah's nose wrinkled in disgust hearing the mention about licking Jae's boots. Nayiah knew Jae wasn't like that. He wouldn't have made them do that. Never understanding this whole customs thing with different classes, Nayiah wouldn't speak out loud on it though.
Hearing Sarylin's laughter, Nayiah glanced at her friend. Deciding to change the subject yet again, Nayiah studied Sarylin quietly.~
“I'm glad your going to be alright, Sarylin.”
~Nayiah said, her face showed exactly how relieved she was for her friend. And she truly meant it. She was happy to see Sarylin doing alright considering the scare she had from what had happened to Sarylin.~

Sarylin waved Nayiah off, “Don’t worry about it. What went on between Jaelyn and I is our business. I don’t want you involved Nayiah. You go on having your little feelings for him.” She scowled somewhat, though that was short lived. “How can you like someone when they just blow you off like yesterdays trash Nayiah?” she continued on, ignore the attempts at changing the subject. “I swear that man is a dog, though a dog doesn’t just ditch you. Face it Nayiah, Jaelyn is embarrassed to have you around and me.” Sarylin folded her arms, “How can he just leave… yeah right what a dork. Forget me apologizing to his sorry ass.” She muttered.
Hearing Nayiah ask if she was going to be alright, she grunted. “Yeah just fine.” She closed her eyes, “Nayiah do you mind leaving. I want to be alone to brood about the moron.” She spoke heatedly.
If Nayiah tried to stick up for Jaelyn, she would hear none of it. This was her own decision and there was no way Nayiah was going to change her opinion. How could he just blantly tell Nayiah to forget about him, that was just rude.
Watching the door shut, Sarylin shook her head. Nayiah wanted to be treated like an adult and yet… this happened. In her mind, the neko woman was completely daft. Liking that noble was stupid and him treating her was just as terrible. They were both morons.
She remained in the room she was forced to dwell for the couple of days, not really wanting any company of anyone as the healer told her she would be able to move around soon. Though it was unwise to start now. The news of the werewolf was spreading as the recent killings of wild animals around the village; was a favorite rumor. Everyone was talking about it and speaking about locking up there own livestock at night. At least until the full moon was over.
Thankfully that was tonight.
Sarylin had managed to procure a book to keep her mind from brooding as she made sure to send Nayiah out of the damn inn. She knew the girl was concerned but there was a fine line of being a nurse and driving her crazy. Though then again, she had a bit of cabin fever and was in less than a pleasing mood. She turned anyone away right now, be them friend or foe.

Finally the full moon phase would be over and that meant he was able to go back to being just plain ol' exiled Jaelyn. Except for if his emotions were to get worked up. But that was easier to deal with then being forced into his werewolf form by the unforgiving moon.
When he would make it back to the village he would stop outside of it's gates and studied the inside of the village and it's people milling about. Why had he returned hear? He had enough supplies for the moment didn't he? Sighing he would shake his head at himself, and decide to do what he had originally gone to the village to do. And that was get drunk. Surely Nayiah and Sarylin had moved on by then. Continued on towards Sarylin's home. She hadn't wanted to waste any time.
So assuring himself he would miss the both of them, Jae trudged down the main path through the village and this time he would make it to the tavern. Thankfully no idiot would try to pick his pocket this time. Entering into the dimly lit and somber interior of the tavern, Jae would glance around but not seeing anyone he knew, he'd walk towards the bar itself instead of sitting at one of the tables. He didn't want to sit alone at one after all.
Taking a seat at the bar, he'd wait for the bartender to notice him, waving him over before ordering the cheapest, easiest drink to get drunk on. It didn't matter that it tasted like swill, as long as it did it's job, he'd be happy. His elbows brace on the counter, his head drooping so his hair shadowed his face he drained pint after pint of the disgusting drink. Thankfully he'd stopped tasting it after 3 drinks, so he knew it was working pretty good. On his 8th pint, Jaelyn was almost ready to fall off his chair, but he was feeling much better. Feeling all giddy and definitely VERY drunk.

~Nayiah listened to Sarylin's words. Nodding in agreement. She didn't want to butt in where she wasn't welcome. Not expecting to be told. She was fine with the answer she got. Although she backed away almost as if she were frightened as she noticed Sarylin's scowl. Hearing about Sarylin mentioning her feelings for Jae. It all seemed to make her somewhat uncertain about what to really say to it all. Though blinking at Sarylin's question. Nayiah glanced at Sarylin. She was about to answer but she honestly didn't know what she could say about it. Closing her mouth, Nayiah thought grimly. What was there to say? She couldn't tell Sarylin the reason why Jae took off. It wasn't because of her, she knew that. It was because he was protecting them.
Instead Nayiah shook her head, feeling somewhat defeated. Nayiah didn't even try to defend Jae's name against Sarylin because she knew deep down he wasn't that. She also wasn't stupid enough to try to change Sarylin's mind about it. She hated allowing Sarylin to think the worse of Jae. But she couldn't just blurt out, “look Jae left because he's the werewolf”. Nayiah had promised she wouldn't tell anyone about Jae's “illness”. And she intended on keeping that promise. Nayiah would be relieved hearing her friend assure her she would be alright. Hearing Sarylin asking her if she minded leaving. Nayiah shook her head in response.~
“No I don't. I'll talk to you later. Goodnight, Sarylin.”
~Nayiah left her room. Sarylin didn't have to ask her twice. Besides, Nayiah was completely exhausted. Going to her paid room, Nayiah removed the bags of coins from her pockets, as she flopped onto the bed tiredly. Nayiah hadn't tried sticking up for Jae. Nayiah wouldn't be bothering Sarylin either. Knowing full well she had to give Sarylin plenty of rest. The healer had already told her that. Nayiah had only planned on bringing Sarylin the food originally. Falling asleep, Nayiah curled almost into a ball. Sleeping soundly, she would have a well rested night. By the time Nayiah awoke, it would morning. Slowly rising out of bed, Nayiah placed the bags of coin into her pocket. Heading outside of the inn, she wouldn't be doing it due to being sent out of the inn due to Sarylin. As she had given her friend space. She decided she needed to purchase a new outfit. Considering how damaged her dress was.
Browsing through clothing the merchant had, Nayiah pondered what best suited her needs. If Nayiah knew Sarylin considered her daft, she would have been hurt. Because she wasn't that. She had simply respected Jae's wishes. Trying to be considerate of his feelings. Although she refused to give up on Jae as his friend. She would continue worrying about him among herself, and pray for him to be safe. She hoped he would find happiness someday too. Deciding on another dress, as well as pants and a shirt. Nayiah decided to purchase a pack as well. Gently placing the pants, shirt and dress inside the pack. Nayiah wondered around looking for what else to purchase. Nayiah would have spent another day in her room besides looking around shopping for supplies she needed to be able to live off of for the time being. Placing her coins inside the pack as well. Nayiah would be out again the following day browsing through what was being sold.
Hoping Sarylin was in a better mood, Nayiah had been too afraid to bother her though. So she continued giving Sarylin space, until she would see Sarylin around personally. Though Nayiah would be looking at something when she gasped in surprise. Although she wouldn't be easily spotted considering she was wearing clean clothing now, and wasn't in view of sight from where she was. Nayiah had noticed Jae. Although at first she blinked wondering if she had just imagined seeing him entering the tavern. Glancing back to see if she was, she wouldn't see him there anymore. Shuddering as Nayiah recalled her horrible experience in the tavern she wasn't about to go inside to find out if she had imagined Jae going in there or what. Finding a place to sit down, Nayiah sat comfortably along a old fountain in the middle of the market. Deep in thought.~
“Ah I'm imagining things...it can't be him.”
~Nayiah thought to herself.~

Jaelyn scowled at the bartender as he told him that he was cut off but before his temper could get the better of him, he would simply nod and gave a heavy sigh. That was just the way he was when he was drunk, a lot more introspective. Normally he might have gotten upset with the man, but not seeing any reason to get angry, he would simply abide by his wishes and slide off of his stool. Wobbling as he stood on his two feet he would look around the blurry room, narrowing his eyes to get a better look for the door. Finding it, he stumbled over to the door and was able to get it open without too many problems before he left the tavern. Humming loudly and off tune to himself, Jaelyn decided to wander across the street slightly.
His pointed ears flicked as he heard the sound of the running water of the fountain and walked in a not so straight line to it where he would kneel next to it and began to sip at the water from cupped hands. It was nice and refreshing, so he'd drink some more while his incredibly blurry gaze wandered around.
His aquamarine eyes landing on a familiar figure he would jump up in surprise, torn between running and not running. Finally a heavy sigh escaped him as he made his way over to the woman sitting on the edge of the old fountain where he would sit heavily beside her, keeping his eyes on his hands in his lap.
"Hey, am I soooo glad to see you! I... I... wanted to say sorry... ya know for that stuff.... that I said," Jae would speak to her, falling over his words as his black hair fell over his face, blocking off his view for the moment. "I really didn't wanna but... yeah... " Jaelyn shrugged his shoulders lightly, before he started to tilt over against his will, and suddenly found himself in a very awkward place on her. But he wouldn't seemed to really notice that.
"Mmm, your soft you know," Jae muttered and nuzzled her softly, "And you smell very nice too." He chuckled a little, "I uh, I'm not normally like this." Continuing to mutter he'd smile to her before putting his hands on her shoulders and drawing her closer once he'd sat up and kissed her.

~Nayiah sat quietly by the water fountain. Deep in thought, those oak brown eyes pondered on a lot of things. Going over all Sarylin had said, sadness filled her pretty beautiful face only briefly. She hated that Sarylin didn't know the whole truth. Nayiah hated not telling Sarylin the real reasons for Jae having to leave. But she couldn't just betray Jae either by telling Sarylin.
Though she cupped her face deep in thought. Her emerald green hair fell loosely around her face, a few strands even in front of her face. Almost blocking her view of seeing anything. But she honestly didn't care about that for the moment. Not like Sarylin would have honestly believed her, if Nayiah had told her friend the truth. Perhaps one day Sarylin would understand things better.
Thoughts would then go to Jae. Since her back was facing anyone who may have came to the fountain. Nayiah's eyes stared straight ahead of where she sat. Ears furrowed as she continued pondering about somethings. She hadn't meant to upset Sarylin. Hoping her friend forgave her, Nayiah would gently brush her hair from her face, wriggling her nose as if it were itchy.
Although it wasn't, it just always felt odd whenever hair fell onto her nose. As if it tickled her. Nayiah wouldn't pay much attention to anyone by the fountain if they made any slight noises. Although it wouldn't be until someone had sat beside her by the fountain, would Nayiah glance to see who had. Out of curiosity, though as she glanced at the person next to her, she couldn't believe it!
Surprise filled Nayiah's eyes as she looked at Jae. At first she thought she was dreaming. Although this supposed dream felt so real. Nayiah realized however it was impossible about the dreaming part. Because she knew she was full awake. Though hearing Jae's words, made Nayiah's eyes soften hearing his words. Blushing as she smiled at him when she heard what he would say. She was glad to see him too.~
“Jae!I'm glad to see you too!”
~Nayiah replied as she smiled at him. Although hearing him apologizing she gazed at his beautiful eyes. He had such amazing eyes that one could just get lost in them. Literally it felt like that. Though Nayiah didn't consider that a bad thing.~
“It's alright, Jae. I know why you did say it. I don't hold it against you...I understand. I'm sorry if my hugging you made you feel uncomfortable...it's just...”
~Nayiah paused wondering if she should finish what she was trying to say. She would go quiet for a moment as she pondered on whether or not finishing what she was trying to say.~
“I knew I was going to miss you.”
~Nayiah spoke quietly. Though surprise showed in her eyes noticing Jae seeming to not be as good with his words. She knew he usually was, wondering if would have come to talk to her if he had been sober. But she wouldn't say that to Jae. Not wanting to hurt his feelings because she didn't think less of him. She knew he was a good man. Although noticing Jae's hair falling over his face, Nayiah wondered if it would be out of order if she would help him out, by gently brushing it from his face. Deciding not to, Nayiah would listen to Jae speaking. Ears twitching as she heard him speaking. Her eyes gazed at him.~
“You didn't want to leave? So are you saying you didn't want to never see me again...I mean us..”
~Nayiah corrected herself mentioning Sarylin too as she asked him curiously. Nayiah knew why he had. She did understand why. She was just curious about whether or not he truly had wanted to.~
“I know the reasons why you said you needed to.”
~Nayiah added softly. Her voice holding gentleness and warmth. Although a soft blush formed on those soft cheeks of hers, when she felt Jae basically fall into her lap. Nayiah blushed as she glanced down looking at him. If she knew Jae had found her soft, she would have blushed over that. As she never knew herself as being that. Nayiah felt him nuzzling her, which made her glance at him again blushing. Although this was all way too surprising and as far as Nayiah knew not usually like Jae to just do. She didn't seem so freaked out considering she had a crush on him. Even if Sarylin only knew of it. If his hair was still in his face, Nayiah would gently brush it out of his eyes. She loved how black his hair was. As her fingers had touched it, it almost reminded her of silk.
Even though she was a commoner and was poor, she had remembered once touching silk. Although she had only been a child, and had been punished for touching it. She had never forgotten the feel of it. If Jae had mentioned her smelling nice loud enough for Nayiah to have heard, she would look at him surprised her cheeks still pink from previously blushing. Although what would come next, Nayiah wouldn't have ever expected it, not in her wildest dreams.
Not that she had wild dreams. Feeling herself being pulled closer to Jae, Nayiah didn't have a prayer of hope to be able to respond by moving out of his reach. Before she knew it Nayiah felt Jae's lips over hers, as he kissed her. Nayiah sat there not sure whether to allow it, or push him away. Surprise at being kissed by him. She found herself not fighting it. Blushing, Nayiah found her arms going around Jae, as she kissed him back. Surprised that she was doing that too. Even though Sarylin told her she was out of Jae's league. Because she was below him, that they both were. Nayiah was sadly distracted from such reminders at the moment.
Although Nayiah wondered if Jae honestly liked her enough to kiss her, or if being drunk just made him overly affectionate. Deciding not to ask him that as she was a bit nervous too. Nayiah hadn't expected being kissed from him in the first place. Although she noticed his kiss was soft, and warm. Not slopping like some people imagined drunks kissing like. She would have been lying if she had said she hadn't enjoyed being kissed by Jae.~

Sarylin tossed the book aside as she fumbled around to find a comfortable spot in the lumpy straw mattress. She had let go of the annoyance she had a few days prior but that left room for her to dwell on thoughts of old and new.
Mainly travel.
It was a normal thought for her, it seemed like she would never make it home. Home, the place where she was surrounded by damn near two dozen orphan kids and her adoptive siblings!
If she had known what was going on between Jaelyn and Nayiah, she would have been flaming mad. The man left and now had his hands all over the apparently naïve girl. Apparently a frying pan was in order, but thank goodness she was still in her room trying to force herself into a mind numbing slumber.
Her side ached, she hated being in this room and most of all, she wanted just to go home.
Sighing nosily, Sarylin stared at the open window of her room silently envying everyone outside. Damn that branch; that should teach her not to be a hero. She wasn’t any good at it.

Feeling the warmth of arms embracing him when he kissed those lips, he would wrap his arms around the soft body in front of him tightly, deepening the kiss immediately. Although normally he was nothing like this, with his inhibitions freed he didn't stop to reflect on his actions for a single moment.
Breaking the kiss, but not letting go of the woman in his arms, he smiled gently. "I've been wanting to do that for awhile now... I don't know why but I can't get you out of my head, even when I know I should." Jae murmured the words, his eyes staying to her out of focus lips. Blinking as he tried putting images in his head in order, he would finally give up and pressed another kiss to her lips, this time more firmly as he kissed her even deeper. One of his hands running down to her hip where he would gently caress her before sliding up her side. Letting his fingers wander over her chest, he'd keep his eyes closed as he broke the kiss again, leaning his forehead against hers.
"C'mon," Jaelyn mumbled as he struggled to his feet, "Let's go somewhere more private." He'd hold out a hand to her as he looked to the Inn, waiting for her to take it before he began to head towards it. "Do you have a room... or... or should I pay for one?" He asked her, still focused on making it to the inn door without falling over.

~Nayiah closed her eyes, enjoying the kiss. Although she was still surprised with a lot of things to do with this very moment. Like the fact they were actually kissing. But also that Jae was back again. Hiding the fear in her heart that he would leave again once he sobered up. Nayiah wasn't sure what was going to happen. She didn't want Jae to think she was taking advantage of him. Even though she really did like him. She found him handsome and attractive. If she hadn't, she would have pried him off of her when he had kissed her. Even though she would have done it gently.
Sighing against Jae's lips, feeling his arms wrapping around her. Nayiah felt warm and safe in his embrace. Considering he was drunk after all. Nayiah felt somewhat surprised as Jae deepened the kiss. Though she didn't pull away. Holding him close as she felt held tightly. Though not enough to make her feel pain. Nayiah never thought how much of a wonderful kisser Jae was. Murmuring lightly against his kiss. Nayiah kissed him back. His lips tasted so sweet. Nayiah no longer noticed if she was blushing due to being caught up in the moment. Perhaps she was naive. But it was just who she was.
Nayiah wasn't use to having anyone show affection for her, or anything of that sort. Whether it was wrong, right or somewhere in between. Nayiah was use to being alone so much. She did understand what it was like to feel so lonely. By the time Jae broke the kiss, Nayiah would be trying to catch her breath. Staring into his eyes as he continued holding her in his arms. Nayiah noticed his handsome smile. It was gentle just like he was. Although listening to Jae's words. Nayiah wondered if he truly meant them. Did he? She wondered.
Uncertainty showed only briefly in those oak brown eyes. Was this all something Jae was going to wake up sober to regret? To come to hate Nayiah? She honestly hoped not. Nayiah couldn't bear the idea of him ever hating her.~
“Really? This isn't the alcohol talking?”
~Nayiah asked somewhat surprised and not quite sure what to make of it. Hearing Jae speaking again, surprise showed on her face. What had he meant about him needing to not think about her? Confusion showed on her face as she looked at him.~
“What do you mean, you know you shouldn't? I'm on your mind? How so...Jae?”
~Nayiah asked him curiously. Again she wondered if he actually thought about her before he had ended up getting drunk and what not. Feeling Jae giving her another kiss, her cheeks felt a lot warm, as she noticed the firmness in this kiss of his. Nayiah was thankful she had been holding him with how firm he was kissing her now. She couldn't help but allow him to kiss her. Finding herself kissing him back sweetly. Although surprise showed on her face, as her eyes opened feeling Jae's hand going to her hip. Blushing as she felt his hand there. Nayiah couldn't help but to feel embarrassed about this considering they were in public. And it was light out. Did Jae truly feel this for her? Or was it only when he was drunk? Nayiah wondered.
Her face heated up, feeling his hands on her chest, made her feel confused, surprised, uncertain. And somewhat guilty for it feeling different. Not able to explain it...it was a different good feeling? Nayiah tried to gather her thoughts, but found it rather difficult. She would be almost breathless when Jae broke the kiss. Watching Jae struggling to his feet, as she listened to the words he'd say next to her. Eyes widening as she realized he was serious about going somewhere private. Nervousness showed on Nayiah's face. He was going to hate her, wasn't he? Noticing Jae's hand being held out, she couldn't believe herself as she took his hand. She needed to help him anyways with walking. Nayiah thought. Standing up she took her hand to grasp his. Walking beside him, trying to go at a slow pace. Nayiah fought herself. Wondering what was going to happen. Wondering if she could do this. She liked Jae but she wasn't sure of all of this. Embarrassment showed on her face when she couldn't lie to herself about not hating what he had done, but she felt so confused to. A part of her knew this was wrong in a sense especially if Jae was like this. She didn't want to come off as some whore who took advantage of him. Hearing Jae's question, Nayiah glanced at him.~
“Umm...I have a room I've paid for for a few days.”
~Nayiah said shyly. Deciding Jae needed to rest, Nayiah was thankful Sarylin's room wasn't anywhere near hers to be able to hear anything. Nayiah wanted Jae to lay down and rest. He was too drunk. That was her intentions anyways. At least that's what she told herself in thought.~

"Alcohol doesn't make people different then what they are," Jaelyn laughed at her question about the alcohol, "Just makes us more.... free in a sense." He would say with a silly grin stretching across his face. Laughing some more he would shake his head slightly. "You... you are a silly girl... no, silly woman." He chuckled.
Walking along with her in tow, he would start humming to himself although when she mentioned the room that she had paid for, for several days he would nod to her, blushing whether it was from the drink or himself it'd be hard to tell. "Th-that'll work," Jaelyn stated and would walk into the inn ahead of her, stopping however as he grabbed the wall to stop himself from falling. "Lead the way!" He declared cheerfully before making a sound halfway between a giggle and chuckle.

~Brown ears twitched softly as she listened to Jae. Nayiah glanced at him with a surprised look in her oak brown eyes. Hearing Jae's laughter made Nayiah smile softly though she was still rather uncertain.~
“So then you actually like me?”
~Nayiah asked quietly. Eyes widening in surprise. She was surprised because she figured due to the fact he had last she had spoken to Jae was referred as a kid to him. And then that sibling sister comment. Well Nayiah just assumed he thought more of her as a sister. Which had made her somewhat not happy being referred to. Though she wouldn't dare tell him that. Nodding in response to his explanation.
Although noticing Jae's silly grin made her smile. Nayiah wouldn't be able to hear his laughter a part from her own. Although being referred to as a silly girl made Nayiah give him a questioning look. Though somewhat relieved when Nayiah heard Jae correcting himself. Otherwise she would have told him she wasn't some kid or girl. Technically she was female, in a sense a girl. But she was considered a woman too. She had the body of one. Shaking her head as she smiled, Nayiah honestly didn't know what to say to that comment.~
“If I'm silly...then you are hmm...”
~Nayiah would say. Although she hadn't finished what she was about to say pondering on the word she had been wanting to use. Giggling Nayiah laughed finally remembering the word she had been thinking about.~
“being affectionate. Considering the last time I saw you...he he you couldn't wait to pry my hands from your waist. Even though I was trying to give you a goodbye hug. I'm sorry about that by the way, Jae. I hadn't meant to make you uncomfortable.”
~Nayiah said apologizing to him. She truly meant it too. She hadn't meant to make him feel uncomfortable. And it wasn't that she was overly clingy because she wasn't that kind of woman. It was the fact the idea of never seeing him again made her sad and scared. Her eyes gazed along Jae's cheeks, wondering what had really made him blush. Though she didn't ask, figuring that she shouldn't try to make him embarrassed.
Although hearing Jae's words as she watched him walking ahead of her. Concern showing in her eyes as she watched Jae. For a moment she had thought he was going to fall. Quickening her pace, so that she could be close to him in case he needed help. Nodding as she would now lead him towards her room. Nayiah gently wrapped her arm around his waist to help support him up the stairs towards the room she had been staying in. Jae certainly sounded cheerful. Though Nayiah wondered if he was going to be upset with her once he sobered up.
By the time they arrived outside of her door, she would glance at him wondering how he was holding up. Once opening her door she helped Jae inside her room, only if he would allow her to. Closing the door behind them. If Jae allowed her to help him onto her bed, she would help ease him on it. She was about to move away from the bed, although she moved slowly enough to be stopped.~

Feet touched the cool floor boards as pressed a hand to her ribs, making herself rise Sarylin winced with a pained whine, but she pressed forward. She was honestly tired of this room, this bed, this entire damn inn. Even if the healer told her to stay here, she wasn’t.
There was an entire world out there and she was not going to see if from the plain room of the inn.
Pulling the newly purchased mock crop top over herself sorely, Sarylin let out a deep breath when she was finally done.
Pads of her feet drummed slowly on the floorboards, the tumblers of the door unlatched as she stepped out into the far cooler hallway of the inn. She would have already missed Nayiah and Jaelyn walking past, so she didn’t even think about it.
Keeping her hand on the wound, Sarylin had cantered down the hallway down the stairs and back into the inn foyer with the couple of chairs and the small bar. It wasn’t a tavern, but that didn’t mean it didn’t serve people still. Just not the extremely strong stuff.
The innkeeper hadn’t been present this day, but she did find the curious gaze of blue eyes watching her. Raising a brow, she quickly accessed it was the innkeepers son.
“You alright miss?”
“Peachy keen,” Sarylin slouched into a chair at the small bar side. “You serving?”
Deep bronze hair shook with his head. “But I could if you want.” Sarylin smirked at the kid, “Anything in particular?”
Humming for a moment, she nodded. “Sticky rice please.” Smiling briefly she watched the boy disappear off to the left side into the kitchen, leaving her to take in the silence of the foyer. She began to wonder how Nayiah had been since there brief and gruff speaking a couple of days ago, but waved it off. The girl needed to get out and enjoy the scenes – though she didn’t realize how much she was enjoying the scenes.
The fellow elf returned shortly after holding two bowls, making her question the oddity of the situation. She knew he was younger than her, that much was as obvious as the nose on her face.
“Seems like a good idea,” he smiled as he set down hers. “Can I?”
Sarylin shrugged with a relieved smile, “Why not.” He slid the stool under himself as he sat down. Extending a hand to her, she took it up slowly.
“Marik.”
“Sarylin.”

Jaelyn laughed aloud at being called affectionate and smirked at her, although as she would mention the hug he would use his other hand to wave dismissively. His voice lowered a lot as he would be distracted with putting one foot in front of the other, but if she could make anything out it would be the words 'Silly' and 'love a hug'.
Having her wrap her arm around his waist Jae would lean into the warm person next to him and snuggled up to her, but still allowed himself to be lead up the stairs, stumbling now and then. Each time he fell forward he would have laughed.
Once in the room he would flop down onto the bed on his back and noticing her moving away he would reach out and grabbed her wrist before yanking down on her, pulling her towards him. As soon as she fell down towards him, he'd wrap his arms around the soft feminine body and held her tightly to him. "C'mere you," He murmured with a smile before placing his lips down onto her skin and kissing that spot. Jaelyn would continue to kiss her skin, moving upwards until he reached her lips where he'd kiss her lips hard and deeply, his eyes having closed awhile ago. Slipping his hand up her shirt his touch was gentle if at worst a little rushed.
"I want you so badly," Jaelyn muttered to her, pushing his hips against hers, "Will you... let me make... love to you?" He asked between kisses. And as long as he were to gain her permission, he would quickly undress her with no particular finesse and himself before gently taking her intimately.

~Sadly Nayiah's mind wouldn't be on Sarylin at the moment. Normally she did think about her friend. But somehow Jae was being a major distraction. Nayiah was somewhat thankful Sarylin didn't know about this right now. Almost afraid of finding out how she would react to it. Another reason why Nayiah didn't think about her friend at the moment. Glancing at Jae, Nayiah smiled hearing him laughing again. If only he knew how happy she was to see him happy and filled with laughter. Even if it was the drinking that had seemed to have loosened Jae up.
Blinking, eyes watched Jae's hand move. Noticing the sudden lowness in his voice, Nayiah sadly didn't catch the 'Silly' comment. Only catching the 'love a hug' part. Looking away she didn't say anything in response to that. Not that she was trying to ignore what he said. She just didn't know what to say to that for the moment. Feeling Jae leaning into her, a soft blush formed when he would snuggle up to Nayiah. Each time Jae fell forward, Nayiah reached out to help steady him. Helping him along up the stairs towards her room. Even though Jae seemed to laugh each time almost falling over, Nayiah was the one who worried about him falling down the stairs and getting himself hurt. Or taking her with him. What a odd sight that would have been.
Shaking the thought out of her mind, she would be thankful by the time they had arrived in front of her room. If Nayiah knew Sarylin had left her room, Nayiah would have been somewhat relieved her friend was feeling better. Although she would have been extremely embarrassed if she had been caught by Sarylin. Nayiah was thankful as far as she knew that Sarylin was in her room. Soft brown ears twitched to the sound of Jae's body landing on her bed. Her back was turned as she had been about to move away from him. Though surprise showed on her face as she felt her wrist being grabbed. Before she could do anything she was whirled around and pulled towards him, which accidentally would cause Nayiah to fall on top of his body. Blushing due to the contact of their bodies against each others.
Feeling Jae's arms wrapping around her, she felt warm against him. Hearing Jae's murmuring. Nayiah seemed somewhat shy over this all of a sudden. Although she would be distracted as she felt Jae's lips going to kiss her skin. Causing her body to shiver in response, not because she was cold. But because of the sensations he was giving her. Surprise and confusion at how he seemed to make her react made her uncertain because she had never gone through this before. This was all new to her. Was she the bad person for allowing this when he was drunk. She continued fearing he was going to be angry with her come morning. Was she really a horrible person? Nayiah asked herself.
Jae made her forget it all, by the time he kissed her lips hard and deep. Although what happened next made Nayiah's eyes go wide open. Feeling Jae's hand going up her shirt, surprised her. Nayiah didn't wear anything underneath the dress. Blushing as her breasts were being touched by Jae. She would be more surprised as she accidentally let out a purr. His touch did feel rushed, it didn't hurt. It felt warm and gentle along her skin. It's just she hadn't ever expected anything like this to happen. Before she had seen Jae come to sit next to her on the fountain. She had figured he meant it by never seeing her again. She would never tell him how hurt she had been when she had to watch him leave. He wouldn't know how much she cried afterwards.
She couldn't tell him that. She didn't want to hurt him, or make Jae feel guilty. She wasn't a guilty tripper. At least she honestly tried not to be. Eyes widened again hearing Jae's confession. Never had she expected him to tell her about wanting her like that. Although feeling his hips push against hers made her cry out in response. Embarrassed for having made such a sound Nayiah would have covered her lips, except for the fact Jae had them occupied by kissing her in between talking to her. Though hearing his question would make her gasp against his mouth. Her body wanted him, it was clear as day. A part of her wanted him too. But Nayiah was more of a woman who wanted him forever and not just this one night. Dread filled her thoughts yet again, so he wouldn't get an answer right away. Breaking the kiss, Nayiah moved her mouth away from him. Worry filled her eyes.~
“It isn't that I don't want you to, Jae. I do...but...I don't want you to hate me in the morning when you realize once your sober you made a mistake with me. I'm not the kind of woman who wants just a one night stand, it isn't me, Jae.”
~Nayiah said to him softly. What his answer would be would depend on her giving her permission for him to make love to her. It really frightened her more then him being a werewolf. She knew Jae was and had pretty much accepted it. Caring for him like it didn't matter. It didn't. Sure she wasn't going to play dumb by when he would change in case he wanted to go after her again. But she wouldn't ever hate him. There was nothing wrong with taking precautions. But Nayiah wasn't sure if Jae just wanted to sleep with her and then take off again. Nayiah wasn't sure if she could handle that. Or was he choosing her?
If Jae assured her he wasn't in for a one night stand. That he actually wanted her and wouldn't be mad at her once he sobered. Nayiah would honestly believe him. If he replied with what she needed to hear, Nayiah would then agree to his request. If he still decided to quickly undress her, she felt so exposed and naked before him. Shivering when she felt his hands removing her clothing as he would have touched her skin to do so. Nayiah couldn't help but to look at Jae naked once he had undressed himself as well. Was he going to end up regretting this tomorrow?~
I should stop this...now before it gets bad.
~Nayiah thought grimly to herself. But she found herself not able to because the truth was she wanted this as much as he did. Even if it wasn't right of her to do that. She was below him. As Sarylin had said out of his league. Although as Jae gently took her, everything she had been thinking about would disappear from her mind as she cried out against him.
She hadn't ever been with a man before. If Jae noticed considering he was drunk, she was giving him her innocence to him. Although pain struck her the first while as she cried against Jae. Arms wrapped around him almost as if she felt he'd leave her if she didn't hold on. Once the pain left, Nayiah cried against him finding herself arching her body against his. If this was enjoying scenery together, Nayiah would have laughed at such a thought. Although Jae was just as beautiful and handsome as always. It didn't matter what he wore, or if he wore anything really. She found him breathtaking. She couldn't help but murmur his name softly inbetween any kisses he gave her.~
