Pushing the bowl aside, Sarylin leaned forward with her chin on her hands as she gave Marik a coy eye. Perhaps the first honestly friendly conversation she had in days, and she was enjoying every little aspect of it. Laughing under his breath, those blue eyes were peering at her through the corners.
“You can't be serious.” Sarylin questioned again.
Marik nodded again, “It is such a royal pain to listen too. I mean in know my pa has to make a living somehow, but putting me beneath the other rooms of the inn is terrible. You don't have to be a genius to know what they are doing when the floor boards are practically singing hallelujah.”
Sarylin joined in his laughter as the foyer of the inn was filled with joyous melody of enjoyment. Brushing his hair from his eyes, Sarylin rubbed her side gingerly. Laughter was the best medicine right, even if it hurt.
“Now come on, you have to tell me where you come from.” Marik rolled his shoulder, “I made you laugh.”
“Albeit painful,” she smirked, “Alright fine, but don't give me any weird looks when i tell you.” he made a guard like salute to swear his promise. “I grew up in Naverir.” Instantly his face began to drop when he froze it and nodded with a rather goofy looking smirk on his face. “I said no weird looks.”
“What are you talking about, i always look like this! That is very interesting, i mean how long have you lived up in the minotaur hell not that it is a bad thing, i just find it completely and utterly fasincating that they would let a elven kid or woman stay so close to the capital without tearing there heads off to set them on pikes.” Sarylin blinked at the long winded single breath over ran sentence that poured out of the boys mouth. Panting somewhat, Marik laughed nervously.
“I lost my parents in the war up there, i was put in a orphanage but of course you know that the snow grace elves lost the war. We lost our land to the minotaurs and therefore the bethel was taken over as well. The man that took over it was a minotaur. Honestly,” She smiled sincerely as she raised her shoulders, “It's not that bad. Naverir is mistaken as a horrible hostile land, but really its rather peaceful. The rest of the snow grace elves live in peace in the lands with the minotaurs. So its just silly rumour really to think such things of the place.”
Marik's ears were low as a humble eye was peering at her. “Hey sorry about that Sarylin. I didn't mean to offend you.” she gave a wave of her hand dismissing the entire fret of him. “So were you ever adopted then?”
She shook her head, then stopped and shrugged her shoulders. “In sorts i was. I mean i was never taken out of the bethel but the man who took over the bethel became more of my father.”
“A minotaur!” Marik yelped at the idea making her chuckle mildly. “I mean,” he cleared his throat, “A minotaur.”
“Yes a minotaur. He was a shaman actually, though you would think he was a warrior with how large he was. I could have been stomped on thousands of times, yet he was kind.”
Marik sighed, “Well thats odd.”
“Never said it wasn't.” Sarylin smirked.
“Hey Sarylin...” he rubbed the back of his neck nervously as she hummed in response to him, “Do you want to go walk around? I mean my pa wouldn't mind honestly if i just felt for a while, as long as i did some errands.”
Sarylin nodded, “Please, this place is stuffy. But mind yourself, i am still wounded.”
Marik lurched himself over the bar with a single hand, making her shake her head. “We'll take it nice and easy alright? Just let me go and yell at my pa about this.”
Watching the kid disappear again, Sarylin shook her head. It wasn't like Nayiah was around and as far as she knew, Jaelyn was thousand miles by now. There was no harm in taking in the company of another.
“Ready?” Marik peeked around the corner at her as she gave him a hearty nod. “Cool.”

"I don't do one night stands either," Jaelyn would assure her when she seemed doubtful when he took a break from kissing her. "I could never only want one night with you..." He murmured gently running his hand down her face, his eyes held closed as it was so much easier then trying to make sense of what his blurry sight showed him.
"The more I've gotten to know you, the more I couldn't stop thinking about you and how kind you are," Jae continued while he was undressing them, "Even to an exile... like me." He muttered those words right before he would press another kiss to her lips, kissing her deeply.
When he took her through the first of their coupling he would of course have been utterly gentle about it, even completely falling over, blind drunk, he tried his best to be nice. It was just the way that Jaelyn was.
After a time of taking her gently and slowly, he would speed up slightly, continuing on until the moment that he could continue any longer. Kissing her deeply for a moment as he could feel himself reaching that edge of no return. As he would finally climax and released himself deeply within her he would arch his back and cried out her name.
"Oh, Sarylin!" He moaned her name loud and long. Panting and sweating from exertion then he would lean down and kissed her tenderly before rolling off of her and next to her where he would cuddle up against her warm body, wrapping an arm around her middle as he placed his face in her neck.
"You are an amazing woman Sarylin," He murmured against her skin, and promptly was completely out cold, softly snoring. Even if she tried to wake him up it would be basically impossible as it was for any blind drunk to be woken once so spent.

~Nayiah listened hearing Jae's words. Sighing somewhat relieved to hear that he wasn't like that. Would made her feel more calm about it. Nayiah honestly couldn't handle just being slept with by him and then have him act like nothing had happened at all. It would have been too much to bear. Of course as he assured her from those doubts, Nayiah believed every word of it. Hearing what he would say afterwards made her want to literally melt. Nayiah was thankful she couldn't actually do that though. Otherwise she would have been a Nayiah puddle.~
“You don't realize how relieved that makes me to hear you say that, Jae.”
~Feeling his hand on her face, made her shiver as her eyes closed. Blushing as he caused Nayiah to purr yet again. Blushing as she was being undressed. Watching Jae undress himself, she got a front row view of his beautiful naked body. Hearing his words, made her oak brown eyes soften and stare at him. Surprise lighting her eyes, even though Jae's eyes were closed. The surprise was still there for Nayiah.~
“You really mean it? Because I don't know....considering you called me a kid, I assumed I meant nothing to you...and ...never mind..."
~Nayiah murmured her reply. Sighing Nayiah smiled hearing what he would say. Hearing him speaking about the exile part, Nayiah shook her head, gently cupping Jae's face. He wasn't one in her opinion. Not in her heart. She saw him as equal. Even though Sarylin said they weren't even in the same league.~
“I never saw you as an exile, Jae. I'm glad your not like all nobles, Jae, even for an exiled one. You don't act so cruel and snobby like they do. The more I got to know you, the more I admired about you, Jae. You were kind, and sweet. How could I not be kind to that.”
~Nayiah spoke softly. Feeling Jae kissing her again, she closed her eyes as she gently touched his face with her hands. Kissing Jae back as deeply as he had with her. Now once he made love to Nayiah, she would be grateful that he was being gentle about it. She doubted anyone could have been so gentle like he was being. Crying out against him, as she felt him make love to her, was all so new to her. Surprise continued filling her eyes, as they opened and she cried out unexpectedly.
Jae seemed to have taken her to new levels of unknown passion yet to be discovered. When Jae began speeding up, she tried to keep up with him, even though she was still uncertain how to be up to pace with him. She wanted to please him. As Nayiah didn't know if this was his first time, or if he had been with other women before. Even though he assured her that he didn't do one night stands didn't mean, he hadn't liked anyone in the past. Everyone had pasts. Feeling his deep kiss, Nayiah moaned against his mouth as she climaxed. Surprise hit her hard as her hands gripped Jae hard, accidentally digging her nails into his back. She didn't mean to, it was just she hadn't expected to feel anything like what she was feeling as she felt she was going to loose her mind in a whole different sense of aspect.
Blushing as she felt something hot erupting inside of her, she gasped feeling it inside her. Surprise and wonder showed in those oak brown eyes. Though it didn't feel horrible. It felt extremely wonderful. It all had until what happened next. She had been so happy. Here Nayiah thought that Jae honestly really liked her...if only he had called out her name. Not Sarylin's. Hearing Jae moaning Sarylin's name out caused so much pain in her. Ears drooping in defeat, she panted tiredly otherwise she would have pushed herself off of him. How could he break her heart!?! Did he really just use her for sex. Had it really been Sarylin he longed to sleep with? Nayiah felt betrayed. Deeply hurt. How could she face anyone now.~
“Sarylin! I'm not Sarylin! Jae...I'M NAYIAH~ NAYIAH!!!!! WE'RE NOT EVEN THE SAME DAMN RACE!!!!!”
~Nayiah began whimpering and crying as she tried to move away from him. She felt like her heart was ripped out of her body. She felt so empty inside, after experiencing something so wonderful with a man she really liked. She would have tried to move away before Jae would have been able to kiss her tenderly. Did he honestly lied to her the whole time. How could Jae not notice the tail and the ears, to be as clear as day that she wasn't Sarylin. He would have had to notice it even if he couldn't see. He had been feeling her up, and the fact he had made love to her, surely he would have noticed.~
“HERE I LIKED YOU...AND ALL I WAS WAS ...*sobs* A SUBSTITUTE!?!?! I THOUGHT YOU LIKED ME...NAYIAH....JAE HOW COULD YOU!”
~If Nayiah had succeeded by pushing Jae off of her, she would try to escape from the bed with him before he would have been able to cuddle up against that warm body of hers. If she had succeeded, she wouldn't have felt his arm wrapping around her at all. If she had failed she would finally escape by pushing Jae away from her once he had passed out. She was so hurt and angry at him. Grabbing her clothes and her pack, she quickly got dressed. She felt like she was going to be sick. Why did it have to be ruined. Why did it have to be someone else and not her? Not even thinking as tears fell down, she was hysterical for the most part as she leaped out the window and climbed down the roof. Landing on her feet on the ground.
Nayiah wouldn't even glance back at her room. If Jae had only liked her, not have used her. If he had made a mistake, well he was going to have to make it right with her. But for the time being she couldn't face anyone as she ran passed anyone outside. It was still light outside. Nayiah wouldn't even think much about the fact if Jae wanted to find her, all he had to do was follow her scent. She couldn't stop crying or shaking. When she thought she was alone, and would be by the forest, Nayiah would drag her nails with much force along a tree as if she were imaging someone's face she was ripping their flesh off. Even though it was the bark of the tree, the tree was getting the worse end of her wrath.~
“How could he!!!!”
~Nayiah said gasping in between tears. If Nayiah had been followed by anyone she wouldn't have noticed right away.~
“This is worse then you hating me in the morning...”
~Nayiah muttered angry under her breath that it wouldn't be easy to hear what she had said.

Rubbing her ears, she side glanced Marik as they strode through the streets. “Something wrong?” he enquired.
“My ears are burning.” She responded.
Letting a coy crooked smile spread over his face, he shrugged. “Someone is talking about you.”
“Or shouting. They are seriously on fire!” They shared a laugh, “And if they are going to talk about me, they could at least bring me some good luck as well.”
Striding through the street, Sarylin tried to ignore the heat in her ears as she was honestly enjoying the moment with the inn keepers son. She had learnt that he was four years younger than her as she already teased him about it.
They wandered through the town as she felt a hand touch her shoulder. “Sarylin, come on I’ve got this awesome spot I want to show you. It’s just outside of town.”
She lowered a eye to him with a smirk, “Not trying to lure me out for some dirty business.”
Marik snorted, “Whatever, you aren’t my type.”
“What tall, slender, breasts and talks isn’t your type.” He rolled his eyes with the heated blush on his face. “Okay oh leader, take me to your little oasis’s.”

Jaelyn would be completely out by the time she was able to say a single thing, since he would have moved off of her immediately afterwards so he could cuddle up to her. So by the time that she tried to get away she'd find it fairly easy to throw his arm off of her as he didn't try to stop her since he couldn't.
"Sarylin..." Her name would be muttered by his soft lips again in his sleep even as Nayiah was getting herself dressed and grabbing her pack. And completely out for the night, he wouldn't know that she leapt through the window to land on the ground before she took off. Sleeping very soundly in his blind drunken stupor.
The night would pass him by, and Jaelyn wouldn't stir at all during the night, not until morning in fact. Once the sunlight began to stream in through the window, and having crept across the floor to light upon his face. As the light intruded behind his eyelids a groan would escape him and he rolled over to cover his head with the pillow to block out the sunlight. And after getting blind drunk like he had, he would normally have just gone back to sleep to sleep the day away. However there was one big thing that would stop him from doing so. And that would be the scent that hit his nose.
"Ugh," He groaned as he lifted his hand and rubbed at his wrinkled nose, wondering why it smelled like Nayiah in his bed... That would be when he realized that he hadn't had a room or bed when he went to go drinking the night before, so it certainly wasn't his bed. Lifting his head, the pillow would tumble off of his head to hit the floor with a soft thump as he pried his eyes open to look around. Wincing at the sudden light, he would struggle to still look. And what he saw confirmed he somehow had made it to a room. Sitting up he would rub the sleep from his eyes groggily and took in another deep breath. This time as the full scent hit him he would realize what the smell meant.
"Dear gods!" The words would be ripped from his throat as he was so knocked off guard that he himself would tumble from the bed next, hitting the floor with a loud 'thud'. Groaning at the pain, he'd make his way to the window, where he'd stick his head out and emptied his guts out onto the ground. "Why? Why the hell would I do something like that?" Jaelyn moaned, clutching his head as he tried to wrack his memory for what he'd done the night before.
It was foggy at best, dreamlike in a sense where he had a vague idea of having spoken with Sarylin. Shaking his head at himself he glanced to the bed, "Why would she even let me?!" Jae couldn't believe the idea that Nayiah would have let him do anything with her when he was that drunk. He'd thought her more capable, more intelligent then that.
Stumbling over to his piled clothing he would slowly slip it all on, casting several horrified glances over to the bed as he shuddered. Grabbing his pack he would push the door open and stumbled his way down the stairs to go look for the innkeeper and the closest place to bathe. He felt so dirty, he needed to go and scrub himself down.

~Ignoring anything Jae said after she quickly dressed. Even if she had heard it. She didn't speak to him, after figuring out he wasn't exactly listening to her anyways it was a waste of her effort to correct him. If Nayiah had known the real cause that Jae had spoken Sarylin's name over hers, then perhaps she wouldn't have been as angry or upset.~
“How could that jerk do this to me!”
~Nayiah spoke to herself as she continued clawing the tree in such a rage that wasn't like her. By the time she had finished her assault on the tree, the bark had been completely scratched off. Her nails were bloody from how rough she had been clawing the tree. Falling down to her knee's she broke down in tears. Sobbing hysterically. Crying Jae's name out feeling the betrayal. If Nayiah had know the real cause to it, she would have perhaps not have felt as horrible as she was feeling right now. Though instant regret came too. Shaking her head in defeat, emerald green hair fell to completely cover her face as she rested her head against the tree. Pretty much blocking anyway for her to see anything. Nayiah continued crying.~
I know I'm just as at fault in this though. I should have told him no...because he was drunk...but I couldn't...I felt torn. I should have but I couldn't...I couldn't say no to him...anyone else...yes...but him no.
~Nayiah thought silently as she continued crying. Pushing herself up she would leave the area she was in. She would have left so that she wouldn't accidentally bump into anyone she knew while she was like this. Though Nayiah was gone all night. Going further into the forest alone to her thoughts, she felt somewhat stupid for believing all Jae had said. She honestly shouldn't have allowed anything to have happened. She wasn't a bad person but she liked him a lot. And she made a bad choice. Sighing, it would be then as she sat in a tree for the night as her legs dangled off a branch. Would be when she noticed the condition of her fingers and her nails. They looked worse then what they actually felt.
It wasn't that Nayiah wasn't smart or capable either, because she was. But Jae was her weakness. Sometimes people did things that weren't entirely smart. It wasn't like Nayiah didn't regret it as it was. Actually spending most the day brooding in anger, Nayiah wouldn't have even wondered how Jae was going to react once he woke up and noticed their scent of them having sex. Sighing Nayiah's ears drooped in defeat. He was going to hate her too, she just knew it. Already convinced he never really liked her. Had it all been stuff he said just to bed her? She wondered bitterly.
By the time morning had came, Nayiah would have found a place not far from the village to bathe. Wanting to wash off all the dirtiness she felt from being used. Having no idea that other villagers used it to bathe at. Nayiah would be trying to clean herself up. She wasn't exactly a fan of getting wet a lot. But she wasn't like normal cats who hated it. She couldn't swim, so she tended to not bother going near lakes or rivers or oceans. But thankfully the water where she bathed was easily enough for her height to stand without going under. Gently scrubbing her ears, even though that hadn't been violated. She just preferred washing her whole body. By the time anyone would be heading her way however her scent would have been nearby as she was fully clothed.
Carrying her bandages as she walked further into the woods, Nayiah waited until her skin was fully dried before even attempting to re-wrap her bandage on her leg. Deciding that she didn't need to re-wrap the bandage on her arm. Nayiah hadn't even realized that she had accidentally dropped it by the place she had bathed. Which had her scent on it. Leaning against a tree glad she was alone to be so embarrassed, hurt and regretful. Clutching the bandage, Nayiah glanced at her leg. Although it was a huge claw marking that had drawn blood before it was at least slowly healing up. At least it looked better then how her hands looked currently. Glancing at her fingers, although the blood was washed off. It was clear she had harmed them while she attacked that tree. Biting her lower lip, Nayiah's ears furrowed, as her brown tail thumped while she debated what she was going to do. Doubt creeping her mind. He hadn't come back for her. Nayiah knew that know. Remembering the referral of being called a 'kid' only made her tail sway more annoyed. If anyone came her way she would be too much in her doubts to have noticed it right away. Not until a nearby twig snapped under someone's walking.
Hair going straight up at the back of her neck she tried to hide her hurt hands and nails. The bandage laid loosely on top of her knee's.~

Standing at the front desk to the inn, Jaelyn would be leaning on it as he waited for someone to come help him and when the innkeeper finally appeared he would ask him about bathing.
"Well there's the village bathing hole that you can go to for free, or we have baths at the inn here. Of course I'd have to charge you for the baths here since we heat up the water and provide towels for use," The man would tell him, lifting a brow at the tallish male elf who looked utterly miserable, and with pale skin to make him look sickly. Digging his hand into his pocket, Jaelyn would pull out his coin purse, grimacing at the loud sound of the coins jingling together.
"How much for the baths?" He asked, and when the innkeeper named a price he would pull out the right amount of coin and gave it to him. Being paid now, the innkeeper would point him towards the baths, which would be where he went. And although it would earn him an odd look he would ask for scalding hot water from the one who warmed it up. While he waited for the bath to be ready he would sniff at his clothing, wrinkling his nose at the scent of Nayiah on them. He would have to wash his clothes too... Just glad that he carried several changes of clothes in his pack, so he could put on something fresh afterwards.
When he finally was able to bathe, Jae would lower his nude body into the steaming water with a happy groan. Even if the water scalded his skin it felt good on the few aches he felt from having fallen on the floor. Hissing through clenched teeth when it hit more sensitive skin, he would still suck it up before picking up a scrub brush that he'd been able to get and began to scrub at himself vigorously. He hoped dearly that the strongly scented water would help get the previous scent off of his skin. Jae really didn't want to have to keep smelling her on himself, even if others couldn't. The mere idea made him want to vomit each time.
"After that, I am swearing off alcohol," Jae grumbled to himself, shaking his head at himself, his ears tilted downwards, "Never ever again. I swear it on my life." If alcohol had gotten him into a mess like this once, that was way more then enough times for him. Even if he had a casual drink in the future, he would use this mess of a situation as a reminder to not ever let himself get drunk again. The thoughts he wanted to block out were not worth blocking out to only gain such disasters.

~Nayiah turned her gaze to glance behind. Sighing relieved she burst out laughing. She had been startled by the sound of a twig snapping when it was really just a doe walking through the forest to graze. Watching it run off, being startled by her sudden laughter. Nayiah shook her head. Glad that all it was only just that doe. Trying to calm herself down from all the hurt Jae had caused her and pain. Nayiah wondered how in the world was she ever going to face him. Already deciding they were both at fault for having slept together.
Though Nayiah was embarrassed with her part in all of this. Pushing herself up, she winced due to the pain in her hands for attacking that poor tree. She had been imagining it was Jaelyn at the time. And in a way it was by far better it was the tree then Jae. Because if it had been him, Nayiah would have regretted it for two reasons. She could end up pissing him off and he could easily shift into his werewolf form. Also she would have ended up feeling really horrible for harming him afterwards.
Nayiah wasn't stupid on that part. She knew if she had done that to Jaelyn. She probably would have ended up being a meal instead of living to tell about it. Not that she would. Shuddering as she recalled the last run in with Jaelyn as a werewolf she almost felt like she was going to be sick to her stomach. But she thankfully wasn't. Glancing down at her leg, Nayiah decided to allow her leg wound to breath before she would re-wrap her leg. Sliding her pack off, Nayiah tossed the bandage inside her pack. Pulling the pack back onto her back, Nayiah began heading back towards where she had damaged the tree. Gently patting it feeling somewhat guilty now, Nayiah shook her head sadly.~
“I'm sorry tree for doing that to you. But I needed to get out my anger.”
~Nayiah said as she began heading back towards the village. Although she would have stopped to pick some wildflowers before returning to where it had all started that previous morning. Gently sitting at the water fountain again, Nayiah pondered on what she was going to do. How in the hell was she going to face Jaelyn? She wondered. By now he would have realized what had happened. Although she wondered if he remembered all the stuff he said last night to her. Or calling her Sarylin. Hurt showed in her oak brown eyes as her brown ears furrowed. Her back would be facing the inn as she pulled off the flower heads and tossed it into the fountain. Watching them float, Nayiah leaned onto her knee's before the fountain as she rested her arms along the edges of the surface of it.
Almost seeming to be studying something that was in the fountain. If anyone saw her and were to come up to her, Nayiah would glance behind her occasionally. If Jaelyn came out and spotted Nayiah. Nayiah would briefly notice him if she were to glance behind for awhile. She wondered if he had taken off. Was she really just a one night stand with him. She was pretty much sure of it. If she had know how exactly he reacted she would have felt a lot worse. Hoping he wasn't going to yell at her or hate her. She felt that sickness in her stomach again. Although If Jaelyn had spotted her by the fountain and were to go speak to her, Nayiah wouldn't move from where she sat.
Though she didn't count on those two drunk men from a few nights back. Hearing them yelling at her, her eyes widened as they came towards her. Fear crept on those oak brown eyes like wildfire. She tried to quickly get up and away from the fountain in case they felt the need to try to push her in. That was something she wouldn't have liked to have happened. And if she could avoid it, she would. Though she whimpered in protest as they each grabbed her arm rather forcefully almost trying to shake her violently.~
“Give it back!”
~The one drunk who had started groping her would say angry. Trying to grope her side. Nayiah cried for him to stop. She would end up hitting him hard in the face as she clawed his face. Making her fingers bleed again due to how bad she had hurt them from overdoing it on the tree.~
“DON'T TOUCH ME!”
~Nayiah said her voice full of hysteria in it. Now she felt very sick. Watching the man cling to his now bleeding face, his friend tried to go for her.~
“You bitch! I'm going to make you regret that.”
~The other man said who had also groped her before. Shuddering in fear, Nayiah tried backing away from them. Attempting a run she would be stopped as the man grabbed her tail. Screaming in pain, Nayiah couldn't move as she tried to swing at the guy holding her tail.~
“LET ME GO! Why pick on me? You two were the creeps who tried to molest me in the tavern when I first came here...accidentally mistook it for the inn. And then you two wouldn't let me go...I think what I did in response was nothing compared to wishing death on you. Which I hadn't done. Let me go now!”
~Nayiah said her voice showing annoyance in it. Though the one guy laughed. Falling down she clung to her face feeling the sting as he had slapped her. Her eyes widened in surprise. She hadn't been slapped in a long time. It was something she had forgotten and wished to have forgotten from her horrible past.~

Once Jaelyn had finished scrubbing himself several times over to the point where he had left his skin red and raw, he would stay in the bath for a while, soaking his aching skin. Even though he stung from head to toe physically, it was nothing compared to the pain he had going mentally. How had he gotten himself into such a situation?! All he'd wanted to do was get blind drunk, forget his stupid curse for awhile and continue on with his miserable life, alone. But no, somehow Nayiah had ended up in the picture and, shudder, slept with her. He felt so dirty in ways he couldn't clean.
By now he'd remembered only bits and pieces and was sure that he had somehow mistaken her for Sarylin. How, he wasn't sure. They were nothing alike afterall. And why would Nayiah let him sleep with her if he was mistaking her for someone else? That thought alone made a shiver creep across his spine, before he shook his head. His best bet would be to leave town before she ran into him again. While normally he wasn't one to bed and flee, this was definitely a unique situation where it would probably end up best that way.
Combing his fingers through his soaking wet ebony hair he pushed it all back from his face, turning it to look upwards at the ceiling as he sighed heavily and tried to think of what to do. His life just kept getting more and more complicated... Bracing his arms on the edges of the tub he'd finally lift himself from the water, letting the clear liquid to rush off his body back into the tub before carefully stepping out and taking one of the nearby towels that he would use to begin to dry himself off with.
Once dried he slipped on his clean clothing and shoved the dirty clothes in the pack, careful not to let any of it rub on anything else inside. Stepping out of the baths he would walk down the hall way back to the main Inn where he would go and sit down. Even if he did want to get away immediately, it would probably be better that he ate first. His stomach was telling him he better anyways.

Talk about side tracked.
As they began to make there trek towards this secret hidden oasis that Marik had been excited for; they had been bombarded by a gaggle of merchants that just wouldn't let them leave. Eventually after much haggling and some fighting, they managed to escape the deathly clutches of them all, but that only gave way to the orange depths of the evening. How that day gotten so far ahead of them, was beyond her.
Marik had to return back to the inn with the purchased goods as she figured there was really no use in lingering outdoors anyways. She had been up and about for a good proportion of the day making her muscles and mind feel utterly relieved.
The bid farewell was short but sweet one could say, her mind hardly drifted to the wonderment of Nayiah as she assume the girl was perfectly alright. Little did she know the truth behind the falsity of that thought.
Evening turned to night, night turned to pitch and pitch turned into the wondrous morning. Making her way down the flight of stairs, Sarylin caught the sprinting head of Marik behind the front desk as she just barely missed the sight of Jaelyn going for a scalding hot bath. Peeking over the counter, Marik smirked the boyish grin as she made a flaunty wave of her hand.
“Sleep well?” he enquire with a slight raise of his voice. His father peered around the corner to see who his son was speaking too.
“Well i wouldnt say i slept like the dead but i wasn't awake counting the tiling of the roof either.” Marik rolled his eyes. “Say Marik, has a little emerald haired neko come in lately?” she figured she might as well ask.
Humming as he dappled his fingers across the wooden grain of the counter top, eyes filtered away to dwell on prior visitors, searching his mind for the girl she spoken off. Watching the blue eyes glaze over to her, he shrugged. “Not that i can think of, and a neko would be had to forget. Not many of them come around here, i mean dont they usually sidle up in tribes?” it was her turn to shrug. She really didnt know much of the race. “Why you looking for her anyways?”
Sarylin blinked for a moment before she chuckled. “I figured i have spent more than enough time lying around, by this rate i'll never get home. So i was just looking for her to bid her farewell, that's all.” Marik awed in understanding.
“Well that's a shame to hear Sarylin, i didnt get to show you that place that i was talking about yesterday. But i can understand the longing to go home.” he smiled solemnly as she watched him nudge his father. Grunting the inn keeper glanced back at the boy as they seemed to have a silent conversation.
Sighing some as he wiped his hands on his apron, the inn keeper let a softer smile grace his older features. “You got supplies?”
“Uh no, i figured i should go get some.” she laughed at her silliness, she had almost forgotten about that. Marik looked to his father before the man held up a hand. Disappearing down the hallway, Sarylin exchanged a look to Marik. “What's going on?”
“Hospitality.” he replied simply.
Confusion settled on her face as they waited in the silence for the man to reappear. And that he did, but he was carrying an old deer skin pelt bag. “Aye, i know how hard it is to travel great distances young lady.” the innkeeper held a smile on his face that reflect youthful memories, “Any help is a great deed. Here,” he set the pack gently on the counter. “It ain't much, but its better than nothing right. Theres a loaf of bread bundled up in a flour cloth, a smaller water skin and a little bit of dried meat. You should be able to purchase a cheap flannel blanket in the market if you want.”
Blinking at the strange sight of generosity, she wanted to refuse but understood how rude it would be now. Letting an appreciative smile touch her lips, Sarylin couldn't voice the words of thanks out of her mouth. But they seemed to understand it anyways. “Just be careful out there young lady, though we haven't heard anything else about werewolf, make sure you have some silver on you.”
She touched her necklace, “Not much, but it should still be enough to bother it long enough for me to run.” she doubted that, even if she wasn't injured the lope of a werewolf was strong and long. “I'll stick to the main roads, and maybe if i am lucky stumble into a caravan.” Marik nodded along with such logic.
Stepping outside into the brisk morning, Sarylin had heft the pack onto her back as she spoke easily with the innkeeper and his son. They bid each other a good safe journey as the elder man pointed her in the direction she should go. This would lead her straight out to the road way that lead out to the north and completely bypassed Nayiah in the forest or in town, she wouldnt have seen her. The forest was in the south part of the town and she was going to the north. She hadn't thought about Jaelyn as far as she was concerned, he hadn't come back to get a skrunk from Nayiah.
Nor did she know that what had transpired between the two. In truth she might had laughed -be it in appropriate- at the situation that had happened. Partly because Jaelyn seemed so sure of himself that she would hardly think of him a drinker and partly because of the silliness that Nayiah had let him do it. But that would have ended if she learnt it had been her name that Jaelyn cried. She would have been utterly embarrassed and brash with her words. Her face would have been red as she would have proclaimed that she was not as easy to bed as Nayiah. It took a lot for her to fall into someones bed not just some hinting of feelings. Unlike Nayiah, Sarylin wouldn't give in to any pleading to a man. She was not easy.
Hugging her hands to her chest as she walked, Sarylin minded herself as she kept her minds eye wandering about on eager thoughts of home. Her bed, her room, her home. Soon she completely forgot about Nayiah, as she was far too excited to return to a place where she was welcomed happily.

~Getting up on her feet, Nayiah pondered on the best way to escape. Should she have the men chase her? Deciding on the best way to escape. Nayiah ran straight towards the inn as the two men went after her. Nayiah ran fast passed where people would have been sitting to eat inside the inn. The two men who followed her looked like they wanted to literally kill Nayiah.~
“Leave me alone!”
~Nayiah shouted back at them as she ran up the stairs. If her leg was noticeable to anyone it would be obvious she wasn't wearing any bandages anymore. Going to the room she had rented, her nose wrinkled at the sudden scent of Jae and hers. Ignoring it the men were about to grab her as she jumped out the window and heading into the forest on the north side of things. Since she hadn't seen Sarylin around, Nayiah figured the quickest way to escape all of this was to run away from it. Feeling guilty she wasn't saying goodbye to Sarylin for being chased by two angry men. Nayiah hoped her friend could forgive her.
If Nayiah had known she was actually not far behind Sarylin but not close to see her. Glancing back to see if she had been followed, Nayiah sighed relieved that those two men hadn't caught up to her. If anyone decided to help her from those two men, Nayiah was too busy trying to escape to have noticed. Although she had noticed Jaelyn's scent. She was too busy escaping to even attempt to confront him. Slowing her stride in her walk, Nayiah tried to slow down her breathing as well as her racing heart. She felt completely stupid in a lot of things. Finding herself stupid and silly for ever thinking Jaelyn could honestly like someone like her. There was no way she could face him.
She wasn't vindictive she would honestly keep his secret about his illness like she promised. But Nayiah would think sadly how she should have known better. Even though Jae was exiled he wouldn't ever go for a neko. She should have known it was the damn alcohol that was talking. If she had known he had thought the whole time she wasn't Nayiah but someone else or what he thought, she would have been sick. But the thing was she didn't know that when it had started. As he talked to her and didn't call her Sarylin until he was finishing making love to her. She couldn't help but to feel ashamed and a part of her wished for a way to go back and stop it from happening altogether even though she knew that she couldn't.
By the time she felt better, Nayiah broke into a run again deciding to get further away from that village was the best. Her mind was brooding as she ran, so if she managed to run passed Sarylin she wouldn't have noticed until she would have noticed Sarylin's scent. Besides hearing her. Which would cause Nayiah to come to a complete stop. Blinking surprised that Sarylin was in this area. Nayiah didn't look so well. She looked worse then before when she had been crying. Considering she had been crying previously and her eyes were sore and if Sarylin noticed her hands were injured as well. Although Nayiah tried to hide that, she was pretty much easy to read like this.~

Seeing the blur of green and brown zip past her, Sarylin felt lost. What happened, did something just run past her or was she seeing things.
Stopping in the roadway, she placed a hand to her side probing it until she seen Nayiah come back, making her ears flatten out. Looking back towards the village, she slowly turned to look at the neko. “What is going on? What happened to your hands, why are you running!” Sarylin narrowed her eye to the girl sudden unsure of her sudden appearance. The last few days she hadnt seen hide or hair of her, and now she was coming out of nowhere, it raised questions. Bothersome questions as Sarylin was completely wary of her. “You look like a turd run over by a couple hundred hooves Nayiah.” she spoke about her attire, “Care to explain yourself?”
Why did it seem everytime she had seen the girl, her face was red and tear stained.

~Nayiah tried to get her breathing to slow down back to normal as she panted from running. Although hearing Sarylin's questions about what had happened. Nayiah wouldn't answer as she was waiting for her heart rate to slow down as well as her breathing to return to normal. Although surprise showed on those oak brown eyes at Sarylin's questions being thrown at her all at once. It wasn't that Nayiah cried all the time. Just these last few times it had to do with Jaelyn extortionately.
Deciding the only way to answer any of this was to start at the beginning. Feeling ill at the pit of her stomach from remembering it all made Nayiah shudder at such thoughts. How could men be so nasty was beyond Nayiah's comprehension. Deciding to answer the question regarding why she had been running first and then answer the rest afterwards. It just made sense to start from the beginning to the end.~
“Hey Sarylin...I didn't know you were leaving honest...thought you were back at the inn. Well the reason why I'm running...it's a long story. Well there's two reasons why I'm running but the second reason isn't compared to the first one. I might as well start from the beginning. Before I ran into Jaelyn. It was when I first came to this village. I accidentally mistook the tavern for the inn. Realizing my mistake I had tried to leave the bar only to be hassled by these two drunk men. They tried to grope me and I told them to stop. I tried to pry them off, and when they ended up fighting one another for who got to get me, was so disgusting....I”
~Nayiah's paused as she tried to give Sarylin time to be able to hear it all. Speaking calmly Nayiah glanced at Sarylin as she continued explaining how she had stolen the drunks money when it had fallen to the ground. Even though she had regretted it, she had explained due to having to fend for herself as a child it was either starve to death or survive. She chose survive. Explaining she use to steal food off merchants waggons and what not. She explained how it wasn't something she was happy about herself and that normally she didn't steal anymore unless she had to survive. But that she had done it and how it was either that or wishing those men were killed by that werewolf.
Giving Sarylin time to hear this all and reply to it. Nayiah would then answer the next part. Answering about the thing about her hands and what had happened to make it come to that. Nayiah explained to Sarylin about Jaelyn's return. Apparently he had been drinking a lot as she mentioned he had come out of the tavern and had noticed her sitting at the water fountain. Nayiah expressed her surprise when Jaelyn had sat down to talk to her. Nayiah almost couldn't believe she had bought anything he had said.~
“I should have listened to you, Sarylin. You were right after all. I'm so out of his league that I did something incredibly stupid. I honestly wished I could take back...but I believed his words when he told me he didn't want to leave when he should. When he told me he thought about me, spoke of how kind I am. I bought it all. Then when he kissed me, It was like I was lost completely. I thought he likes me he really likes me.”
~Nayiah spoke grimly as she explained about Jaelyn groping her in public. As he asked about going somewhere private. Nayiah paused with dread. Hating to talk about this. She didn't want to disgust anyone besides herself right now. Because she deserved it for believing that Jaelyn could ever like her. She was like Sarylin said beneath him. He really was like other nobles. And yet Nayiah had sworn he wasn't and that he was different. Had truly hoped he was. Explaining to Sarylin that her first intentions had been to let Jaelyn sleep on her bed as she explained that she had helped him to her already paid for room. She had tried to leave him, when he had grabbed her hand and pulled her on the bed. When he had kissed her and asked if he could make love to her, she admitted to being stupid enough to go along with it. Sighing Nayiah tried to brush the hair that would fall in front of her eyes.~
“I'm so stupid...I honestly wished it never happened. I gave myself to him...I can never get that back now...I was so stupid to even believe someone like him could like someone like me. I felt so happy until he moaned out your name. I feel dirty...I feel betrayed...I feel cheap. I feel a lot of things. It'll always be something I regret.”
~Nayiah said sadly. Glancing at her hands she sighed figuring the last answer to her question was about the hands. However Sarylin responded Nayiah would agree with her about that about herself. Nayiah already knew she was pretty much easy to have allowed Jaelyn to do that to her. She was at fault for it. She knew that. She wasn't completely blaming Jaelyn for it. But she was still upset at him. She lacked experience around men. She hadn't no one to raise her from childhood to teach her right from wrong. It wasn't excuses it was facts. Nayiah had simply been lost in the moment and she knew it. She knew it was wrong and she felt that regret right afterwards.~
“As for the condition of my hands...since I couldn't take it out on Jaelyn due to his 'illness' he has...believe me I wanted to claw his face off...”
~Nayiah said sighing. She purposefully said his 'illness' meaning him being a werewolf. She would have been dumb to have attacked Jae like that. Even if he would have deserved it, she wasn't stupid to risk her life or anyone else. And besides a part of her still respected him. Although it was a small part. Right now as far as Nayiah was concerned she would have been glad not to see him again. Before she wouldn't have not liked it. But now...she felt that way due to the fact she had been used. Nayiah explained she had clawed a tree to the point her fingers and her nails were sore and raw.~
“Instead I pictured his face as I attacked the tree. I felt bad for the tree afterwards. I should have listened to you, Sarylin. I honestly don't even know what to do now. I have no where to go. Never had.”
~Nayiah said quietly though she still was able to be heard.~

She stood there, face blank after hearing it all. Her mouth hung open, her eyes staring blankly at Nayiah.
Giving her head a shake, she began to walk right past Nayiah. She began to walk home, no she needed to go home. If Nayiah stopped her, Sarylin felt something snap inside her.
Whipping around, she glowered at Nayiah. “How utterly stupid are you! You daft child, you expect me to give you sympathy for all this, well i won't. You are right, you are stupid, silly and everything in between. I told you he was out of your league and yet you are the moron who spread your legs out for him.” Sarylin was frightfully angry as she placed a hand to her forehead. “You are a child, just a silly child. You could have said no at any time Nayiah. Any time and walked out. What is it with you? Ever since i met you, you are nothing but problematic.”
Sarylin pointed to her, “I deal with kids all the time at home yet they aren't moronic enough to do this and if they are, well they deal with it. You want to be an adult then act like one.” Sarylin gave a wave of her hand, “Forget it Nayiah, i tried to warn you but you didn't listen. You should have taken my advice Nayiah, i have been around that bush before, but i didnt do it on the first day.”
She stuck her tongue out, “What a pig he is, and you said he called my name! That's just disgusting! You two are both idiots. Both of you!” she pointed to herself, “What does he think i am, a whore. I will not fall into bed with anyone, especially the likes of him. He picked you because you were easy. You didnt want to stop him, so you are a prime target.”
Sarylin turned away from her, “You made your bed Nayiah, now lie in it. But try lying it in alone with your legs closed.” she couldnt believe this. She wasnt going to give Nayiah the sympathy, she needed to learn from her own mistakes, and coddling her wasn't the answer. She was mad at Jaelyn as well, if he had been there, she prolly would have clocked him one for mistaking her and Nayiah. “I'm leaving Nayiah, if i want to look after a kid i will at home.”
she shook her head, “What a waste.” she began to walk away. She was harsh but she was being truthful whether Nayiah liked it or not, she wasnt going to apologize for it.

~Even though Sarylin's reaction hadn't been expected to be the way it had been. It hurt nonetheless. Nayiah would leave without much of a fight hearing Sarylin's harsh brass words. Nayiah didn't hate Sarylin for it. She knew she was at fault to. She wasn't expecting anyone to feel sorry for her. Didn't want that. She was simply answering Sarylin's questions. Because she didn't want to lie about it. When Sarylin tried to leave, Nayiah didn't stop her.~
“Your right. I don't want anyone to feel sorry for me, Sarylin. I know I have to deal with it. I am trying to. It's something I have to regret on my own.”
~Nayiah left her then going a different path after the last few words Sarylin had said. So she wouldn't have heard anything else. She was on her own, just like she always had been. Left alone and without any friends. Sighing once she was alone she shook her head. How much she honestly wished to go back and stop this all from having happened but she sadly couldn't. Heading Northwest, Nayiah continued walking alone in her thoughts. Figuring she wouldn't see either of them ever again. Well at least Sarylin knew the truth now. ~

Jaelyn would have finished eating, taking his time to consume his food as he pondered over his next move. What should he do? Where should he go? He really didn't know and had no idea to what the answers could be. He just didn't want to run into Nayiah anytime soon, and of course Sarylin he figured still hated him for the argument they had. No idea that Nayiah had run off and encountered Sarylin.
Sighing he would get up and slipped his pack on his back before waving a good bye to the innkeeper and his boy before he would walk out and started along the northern path, unaware of who had tread it before him. All he knew was it lead to the more barren places and the less people, the better. Because he hadn't gone that way before he also had no idea it was the direction that Sarylin's home lay in.
Walking along the dirt road, he would be involved in his own thoughts as he trudged with a heavy sigh, letting his boots scrape against the ground slightly. At least that would be until he heard two feminine voices. Blinking as he could swear he recognized them, he continued until they were sort of in sight, but wouldn't be able to see him from behind the tree that he would step into the shadow of.
Now normally, Jae was not one to eavesdrop on a conversation, but hearing them mention his name, he couldn't help but listen in. Listening to Nayiah tell Sarylin everything he couldn't help but feel a little bad, but at the same time he was still upset that she had let him. She had made the choice to let him do something when he was completely screwed up and had no idea what he was doing.
And the fact that he would overhear Sarylin's words as she would call him a pig and the like he wouldl shake his head to himself, clenching his eyes shut tightly for a moment. He of course didn't think she was easy, he never actually thought she'd ever want to be with him, especially after their argument. To be certain he had no idea why he would have thought it was her.
Waiting for the conversation to come to an end, he would watch for Nayiah to walk away in another direction and disappear before he would walk quickly to try and catch up to her.
"Sarylin!" Jaelyn would call out her name, and waited to see if she would turn around or not. If she didn't, he would have sighed heavily and continued trying to get her attention. But as soon as he had her attention he would start speaking right away.
"Please, just listen. I heard what you and Nayiah said, not that I meant to. Anyways, I just wanted to apologize to you. I honestly don't remember much about last night so I can't give you much of an explanation, not that you'd want to hear one, I'm guessing. I was blind drunk and of course made a stupid stupid mistake. I just wanted to let you know I'm sorry for any offense to you Sarylin. I know you'd never want to be with me," Jae would talk quickly, practically rambling as he just wanted her to hear what he had to say. "And I'm sorry for the things I said before, I was trying to push you away ok? You're not trash, or anything like that. I've only thought highly of you." He sighed heavily and shook his head. "And well that's everything. I'll let you leave and forget you ever met me."
Giving her a faint smile he would start to turn away, towards the forest even with no path in front of him, "I wish only good things for you Sarylin."

Sarylin made a noise in her throat as she heard Nayiah and side glanced her as she walked away. The girl would learn eventually even though she was clearly taking a difficult road. Shaking her head, she continued on her way. She was utterly annoyed with the child, she had tried to tell her to stay away from Jae but she apparently thought she knew better. Sure she was young, but she knew enough of noblemen elves, to keep her distance. Just because Jaelyn was exiled didnt really mean much, he already proved that. Though she still had no idea it was to protect her and Nayiah.
“Hope he has gotten his fill of her, good way to break a child. Pig.” Sarylin spoke out loud. She gritted her teeth, how could he gotten them mixed up, she was a few inches taller than Nayiah, was clearly more developed and didnt have a tail. That being the most obvious part. But Nayiah did say Jaelyn had been drinking.
He must have been completely plastered to not note the differences. But why would Nayiah allow a drunk to have his way with her, that was another stupid thing. She should have went with her gut and left Jaelyn to sleep it off. “Little crush my ass.” she muttered. There was no way in hell a little crush would let anyone allow someone to take them hard in bed. That is where it proved Nayiah was a little girl still, she was so naive that she basically reeked of it and that in turn lured the lowest morale men to her.
“She'll learn to grow some tougher skin, otherwise she'll be more used up that a old man's handkerchief.” she spat bitterly to herself. Too many times she had seen the whores in the streets at home but they chose that life.
Rubbing her side sorely, Sarylin let out a sight. The truth was hard to hear and she knew that. “Did the girl even think about him getting her pregnant, probably not.” Just because Nayiah said Jaelyn had an illness, didnt mean she figured it meant a werewolf. As far as she knew, Jaelyn's illness was his ego. “Though... i dont think an elf and a neko have enough body chemistry to breed..” she muttered off to herself.
Her long tapered ears flicked upwards when she heard her name being called as she turned to peer over her shoulder, first with surprise but then utter disgustion was on her face.
“Jaelyn.” she spoke his name through her teeth, “You vile son of a bi-” she stopped so he could try and explain himself but she was very apprehensive to the idea.
When he finished, she wasn't in any better of a mood. Whirling around, she stabbed her finger hard into his chest. “You listen here you gigantic ass and use those things on the side of your head, i dont care how bloody drunk you were. The fact that you did that is disgusting, and the fact you dared called my name is low. I know i felt terrible for not being able to apologize to you from my pass behaviour but now i see the truth behind you. I will not expose my backside to you, nor do i think it was appropriate for you to screw Nayiah. Thought she is as equally as stupid!”
She turned, “You messed with her mind and you expect me to just think it was ok. You are a pig, a nasty pig! Men, the lot of you are just useless.” she rubbed her side as she glared at him. “I'd rather be eaten by the werewolf than look and deal with you Jaelyn.” she exhaled nosily; “And you are right, i am not trash. Not the trash that you would have wanted. Forget you Jaelyn. Go back to your perverted little hell and go find your next whore. I am sure you can find some other poor little girl to corrupt, you idiot.”
She turned away from him and began to walk away. Where the hell did she find theses people?

~Nayiah had been about to go further into the opposite way of the forest. That was until she felt so low in the dumps and so horrible. It wasn't just Sarylin being upset with her that made her feel so low. It was what Jaelyn had done too. Yes she knew she was just as much in fault in this whole mess as Jae was. But how he treated her like crap wasn't right either. Deciding to she needed to tell Sarylin she was sorry, Nayiah turned and headed back. Although she hadn't meant to accidentally overhear Sarylin and Jaelyn's conversation. Although she would end up hearing a good mouthful of what Jae would say to Sarylin. Her face looked somewhat annoyed. Feeling disgusted, she would hear what Sarylin had to say by the time she spoke too.
Nayiah hadn't even thought of the possibility of pregnancy. If she had known Sarylin had thought about that, Nayiah would've said she doubted it. In fact Nayiah was thankful she doubted it could happen and it wasn't because of Jaelyn being an elf that she had her doubts of it even being possible. But the fact he was a werewolf. At least that was what she was hoping because she honestly didn't want to even more in a hellhole like she was emotionally because of him.~
“Jaelyn...I use to think you were not like anyone else. But you know what your just as bad as the rest of them. I thought you were a good man. Yes I'm at wrong here..but you know what...so are you. And at least I'm willing to admit my wrongs. But you no...you are a coward and a pig...no wait a pig no your not that..”
~Nayiah said her voice filled with anger. If looks could kill Jaelyn would have been in serious trouble. Gripping her hips tightly Nayiah ignored the pain in her fingers from previously.~ “Least I don't smell like a were..”
~Nayiah was about to say were wolf, but she had corrected herself in time. Even though how angry she was at him she wasn't about to be a bitch.~
“a dog...”
~Nayiah said as she glared at him. She found it disgusting that he was trying to sweet talk Sarylin after what he had done to her. Glancing to Sarylin she had heard herself being called stupid. Sighing she looked hurt but she knew Sarylin was right.~
“Perhaps I am stupid for ever believing anyone was different. I'm stupid for believing anyone could ever be kind to me. I wish I could take it all back but I can't. But you know something Jae. Your not worth it, not worth the pain you caused me. The hurt. I was good to you. I even kept your 'illness' a secret. Because I respected you. And I won't tell...I'm showing you that I can be good about this. But you couldn't possibly understand what it's like to be in my shoes. What it's like to be alone since a small child having to fend for yourself each and every day. Without knowing if you would get to even eat a small apple or whatever for one day. I didn't have parents to raise me.
Yet I am still willing to admit when I'm wrong. When I have done stupid things. But you know what I'm not perfect. Everyone has their stupid moments. Mine was ever believing you weren't like all nobles but you are. Your not who I thought you were. You can't even man up to your mistake. What you did was sick. What I did was sick. But you know what let me fill the blanks for you.
It wasn't me who came and sat next to me at the fountain, you did. I didn't start kissing and groping me in public in front of everyone. You did. I felt embarrassed and yet I felt bad for you. My intentions were to take you to my room and let you sleep it off. I actually did try to leave you but you grabbed my wrist and pulled me towards you on the bed. Kissing me and groping you. My mistake and my stupidity was that I gave in and allowed you to have your way with me. My mistake. My stupidity. That I wish never happened. I liked you...past tense. Liked.”
~Nayiah said upset. She spoke the truth. She had tried to leave even if it was once only to be stopped. With that she walked away not wanting to look at Jae anymore. He made her sick, he made her feel a lot worse. If Sarylin wanted to talk to her, she wouldn't walk too fast as she walked away. Before she left she glanced at Sarylin however.~
“I'm sorry for eavesdropping Sarylin. I didn't mean to. I'm sorry for being such a problem to you. I'll leave know and I hope you won't have to be dragged done by my stupidity. Have a safe trip home, okay.”
~With that Nayiah walked away even though at slow strides. She wasn't trying to guilt trip Sarylin. She was just trying to spare her friend her issues. Right now Nayiah was an emotional wreck and she needed to get passed this. But she certainly felt better at yelling at Jaelyn. He wouldn't even apologize over being such a pig. Not like that would have even made anything feel better. Yes perhaps she was a kid still for thinking she stood a chance and that she felt herself liking him too soon. But she hadn't known it was any different due to not having her mother around to teach her. Truth was she didn't want to be near any men for awhile. And she had spoken the truth. She didn't like Jae anymore. She didn't know how she felt passed the anger part.
If Jae wasn't a werewolf well Nayiah would have been tempted to throw something at him so he could understand the pain he caused her. Yes she was a dumb stupid kid. But she was young still. And she had to live with her big mistake. Walking away as she brooded she finally winced in pain as she released her hands from her hips awhile ago. She had forgotten how badly they hurt but boy she had been pissed off. Jae really was a dirty low life coward. Men were all alike. But so were nobles. She had pretty much accepted his 'illness' without judgement. She hadn't treated him like crap and this was the thanks she got from him? It was nice to know where she wasn't obviously wanted. Not even as a friend.~

Jaelyn would blink down at the other elf as she poked his chest, having expected anger, but having her being completely unreasonable and saying such things only served to upset him. He was just going to walk away, leave her alone and let her get back to her life without another word but then she had to go and be stupid. It was obvious now she didn't know what being drunk was like. Pulling himself up, and his usually warm eyes turning cold he would pin his gaze on her with narrowed eyes.
"I thought perhaps you were more of an understanding person Sarylin. If you've never been even a little bit drunk, you would have no idea what it is like. And your insults to me, are childish rage at best, based on your black and white view of the world," Jaelyn spoke through clenched teeth at her, his anger and hurt seething through him. "This world has much more in it then your limited experiences. And I did not mess with her mind, I was completely messed up, had no idea who I was talking to or what I was doing at the time. Have you ever been blind and numb all at the same? Try feeling that way and tell me you can tell the difference between people then perhaps your words would have weight."
"I have no nor ever had the desire to be with someone just for one night," Jaelyn told her, which he didn't know why, he doubted it would change her opinion of him anyways. When she would put down men, he would give a bitter laugh. "Like you women are so much better, manipulators to the core. You think you are so different from nobles, well, your not. Making someone think you are a kind hearted person, then turning around and ripping out their heart, is one of the favorite games of the court ladies. At least THEY do not delude themselves into thinking they are not that cruel." His words were spoken with an ice cold tone as he looked down at her, memories of the woman he'd love flashing through his mind. Were all women just this callous? Shaking his head at her, he was so tired and ready to just go find a cave to sleep in for a week since he couldn't afford a room anymore.
As Nayiah approached and Jaelyn's sense of smell would tell him that she was there, and so he would turn around and turned those currently cold eyes towards her, having pulled himself up to his full 6 foot height, he towards over the current target of his pain and anger.
As she tried to lay into him, he would interrupt her, he wasn't about to let her try to guilt trip him like the typical woman she was. "Shut up Nayiah. You are a child, and yes, it would be wrong for a man to take advantage of your naivete and sleep with you. But you were not the one taken advantage of," Jae growled out the words, clenching his hands into fists. "You have experienced little in this world for someone who claims to have been on her own since young. Scared of your own damned shadow, your like a sheltered babe! So don't lie about your upbringing!" Their words and attitudes were like sticks being jabbed at an already injured animal, and now that they had jabbed at his wounds, they were going to have to deal with that animal snapping back.
"I will not feel bad for a girl who plays at being an adult but then can't accept responsibility for her own actions, especially for one who is a liar!" Jae growled the words, "I am not your goddamned punching bag to take out your foolishness on, so if you can't deal with the fact you completely took advantage of a man who was blind and senseless from drink, take it out on someone or something else." His anger was broiling just under the surface of his skin and he knew if this continued, there would be danger for them. In his anger, he was dangerously close to just not caring anymore, even though he still did and that would be why he would try to end it, not allowing Nayiah another word at all.
"And now, for your safety, I'd suggest you keep your filthy lying lips shut Nayiah and walk away. I'm going to leave, and if both of you were wise, you would think about growing the hell up and trying to think about things from another persons perspective. If your even capable of that." He glanced to Sarylin, a flicker of regret showing on his face for a moment. Even if there had never been anything to happen between them, he had truly thought he would have the chance to have a true, understanding friend even for a little while. But again, it was all for the best in the end wasn't it. They wouldn't get hurt, and once he was away from them, he wouln't have his hurt being prodded at. A single tear would escape his eyes as it trailed down his cheek, despite his attempt at holding himself completely away before he lifted his hand and rubbed viciously at it as he turned away and started for the trees.

Sarylin smirked to Jaelyn, her arms crossing over her chest as she leaned back giving him a smug look. “I don’t think I ever verbally said I was kind hearted. You assumed that on your own free will Jaelyn. And you are right,” she combed her hand smoothly through the air, “I’ve never been drunk.” She leaned forward, her eyes peering right into those of ice, “Never had the need to be. I don’t need to dilute my pain away with booze Jaelyn. I don’t care to understand your issues, yell at me all you want.” She shrugged, “Makes no difference to me. I’ve said my peace, and that’s it. You want to know what I want to do honestly, I just want to go home!”
Looking him up and down Sarylin shrugged as she watched Nayiah appear and them both lay into one another. Rolling her eyes, Sarylin could only shake her head. She never wanted anyone to assume she was so caring when at the worst of times, she wasn’t. Whatever Jaelyn thought of her, was his thoughts. She wouldn’t change them.
Sure she felt a slight pity for Jaelyn, but she wouldn’t say it out loud. They were all toxic with one another and she was very aware of it. “Hey Jaelyn,” she called out, “One thing that I am sure you don’t want to hear.” Sarylin glanced to Nayiah then to him. “When I was sitting there under the deathly look of that werewolf about to be its meal… I hoped you and Nayiah were both safe. Sorry that we aren’t good enough for you to deal with Jaelyn but I guess that’s how the cookie crumbles.” She tilted her head, “Third class commoner trash right.”
She watched Nayiah go before she turned some and sighed. “Safe travels Jaelyn.”
Everything of her had petered out, she was worn out as her side ached and throbbed with every heartbeat. Following after Nayiah, she combed back her hair briefly as she used her other hand to press hard into the wound. She couldn’t believe this all, everything just came spilling out.
And yet, it didn’t seem over.

Looking to Sarylin he would sigh heavily and shook his head, "Then you have my apologies m'lady for making the assumption that you were of a decent ilk." He would give her a sweeping bow as he spoke with a caustic tone in his voice. Straightening up as he brushed his hair out of his face he would shake his head yet again at her words, and shrugged. "I never said you weren't good enough Sarylin, so please stop putting words in my mouth." He was so tired of this, tired of the pain and anger.
"If you weren't, then why does it hurt so damn much to part ways like this?" Jae would question her, his eyes softening. "I know you may not believe me, but I hope you have a long and happy life Sarylin." Nayiah already gone by now, Jae's shoulders would slump softly as he would wish her a happy life. "Goodbye."
His voice was tired and sad, defeat in every line of his body as a forlorn look seeped into his expression as he would move towards the nearest tree and leaned into it for support. His anger at her was drained away, but the pain was left and he had really meant it when he had sworn off alcohol. But now there was nothing to dull it, so for the moment he'd have to stay where he was, afraid one more step and he'd collapse.

~Glancing as Jaelyn pretty much blamed this all on her. She couldn't believe how selfish he was being. She had admitted she was at fault. She hadn't completely blamed him. And yet he was being a complete ass.~ “Whatever Jae. Believe what you want. I wasn't drunk. Anyways have a nice life. I hope you find happiness.”
~With that Nayiah had walked away not even acknowledging anything he said. She wasn't lying about what he had done. Not her fault that he wasn't man enough to accept his responsibilities. By the time she was away from him she was a lot happier to be away from such a creep. If anyone was the liar it was him. Seriously she hadn't blamed it all on him. And if he wanted to be a coward and play the whole helpless victim whatever.~ “As if he'd remember everything he did anyways being that drunk.” ~Nayiah muttered in disgust to herself once she was away from him. She wasn't stupid either. She had only said what she came to say. Figured he deserved to know the truth too. She wasn't saying it was all him. At least she wasn't the one who was being the coward here. It took two to have sex. Even she knew that now. As far as she cared forgetting about that man was the best thing she could do. It was a shame he showed his true colors. A shame that well he wasn't worthy enough to be his friend. If she saw him anytime soon it would be too soon. Nayiah would have preferred to never see him again. That man needed to grow up. She didn't care what he thought about her at all. He was simply being in denial and it was pathetic. As if she didn't feel bad as it was for going along with it. But he didn't even feel bad for hurting her which she hurt emotionally for. She wished she hadn't ever met him. It would have been better to have stayed the hell away from him.
And it wasn't that Nayiah couldn't have been a good friend to a werewolf. Frankly he was using all his problems as an excuse. Anyways as she continued on foot having no idea what conspired between Sarylin and Jaelyn. She honestly didn't care. She wouldn't be aware of Sarylin walking in her direction unless she were to get closer enough to catch her scent.~

Sarylin shook her head, before she lifted her eyes to him as he spoke about not putting words in his mouth. “If I wanted to-” she stopped, lifted a hand and waved it aside. “Its not worth it.
Though hearing his question to her, she turned her back to face him. “It’s only in your head Jaelyn. It only hurts if you believe it does. We are nothing but illusions to you Jaelyn, think of us as wisps and forget it all. Let us blend into the crowd until you can’t pick us out anymore and then you won’t feel a thing.”
She walked away from him, her bare feet crunching into the gravel. Any anger she held dissipated, she just kept her gaze forward as she walked past Nayiah as well. “If you are going to tag around with me Nayiah, then keep up and keep quiet right now.” She spoke with no emotion in her voice. “I’ll speak to you when I am ready. And as for that quip about not having any parents,” her eyes turned icy to her, “Don’t you ever say something like that again. You obviously knew who they were, I never had that luxury!” she turned away.
She would walk them a far ways away until she felt like the pain her ribs was going to explode out of her. Making a gesture for Nayiah to step off the road, she would follow only to sit down in the brush of the roadside. She cursed slightly as she lifted the bottom of her shirt to bite down on her lip.
“Great,” she muttered. Blood had seeped up through the bandage which explained the heightened pain in her side. It hadn’t been able to heal properly as much as she thought it had, or she had ripped it open in the heat of the moment of arm flailing anger. Either way, it looked disgusting.
“You have a good sense of smell Nayiah, would you mind taking my water skin and finding some water?” she dropped her pack to rustle around to find her leather water skin. “I would appreciate it greatly.”
She didn’t have a good sense of smell like Nayiah, but even she could smell and damn near taste copper in her mouth from the oozing blood on her side. She unravelled the bandage exposing the torn, black and purple flesh as the deep almost black blood dripped thickly down her side. It was hardly just a mild wound.

~Nayiah wasn't really in the speaking mood anyways so when Sarylin would actually talk to her she nodded almost in agreement to her conditions. Following Sarylin, she managed to keep at pace with her. Although smelling blood, she glanced at Sarylin after she had watched the elf sit down. Since Sarylin had told her to not speak to her until she was ready. Nayiah simply nodded when she spoke about finding some water. Grabbing the waterskin, Nayiah walked away as she went in search for water. It would take her awhile but she had managed to pick up a scent of fresh water in a spring a little bit away from them. Kneeling down she opened the lid as she dunked the waterskin inside the water. Once it was full she would close the lid on the waterskin and return. Handing the filled waterskin to Sarylin she would move away from her, as brown eyes watched Sarylin tending to her re-opened wound.~

Jaelyn would just shake his head at Sarylin's parting words, letting her have the last word that she seemed to want so much. She just couldn't understand, that much was apparent. He would simply keep his back to them as they walked away, leaving him to be completely and utterly alone; again. Which was better, he had almost allowed his loneliness to get the better of him. Never again.
Once they were finally out of sight and their steps had faded from his hearing would finally be when he moved again, his knees giving out as he went to step forward and he would slump to the ground. Staying there for a few moments as he hung his head, he would breathe heavily as he recovered from the pain of holding in his transformation from when he was angry and the emotional drain. After a few moments however he would climb back to his feet and started to move further into the woods, not really paying attention to the direction he was moving in. He was just walking for the time being with no destination in mind as his mind was on dark things.

~Nayiah couldn't really hold the silence much long as she glanced at Sarylin feeling bad about her friend. Deciding at the last minute, she wouldn't go with Sarylin was the hardest thing she had to do. But both of Sarylin and Jaelyn were right in a lot of ways. She needed to deal with stuff. Hoping that one day she could apologize to Jaelyn and that he would forgive her for how horrible she had just been to him among what all had happened. Nayiah glanced at Sarylin.~
“You both were right. You don't have to talk to me, Sarylin until you ready. But please forgive me for talking to you. I thank you for everything you've done for me. But you both are right. I need to deal with things, and I need to mature. Maybe one day we can see one another again, but for now I think I'll be on my own to get my stuff dealt with. I'm sorry, I don't want to leave you here like this. I only pray you'll have a safe journey home. For now goodbye Sarylin. Stay safe. I'm sorry.”
~With that Nayiah stood up and glanced a final look behind her as she ran off into the forest and wouldn't be seen from again for quite some time. She had to better herself and not be so naive and she needed to learn those lessons on her own time. Only she could learn them. It was hard on her to have to learn Sarylin the way she was. And for that she knew it wasn't right. But she wouldn't have done Sarylin any good if she had stayed either.~

Sarylin was startled by the sudden change in attitude of Nayiah, but she could understand her. Cupping her hand full of water, she washed the thick blood from her side making the wound sting and throb terribly.
“Just be safe Nayiah.” She watched the young neko disappear as she huffed a heavy breath, making her bangs fluttered.
Alone again.
Sarylin stuck the water skin between her feet as she muttered beneath her breath trying to keep an potiental infection away as she cleaned the nasty blood. It was tender but that should teach her from flailing her arms around like an insane criminal while getting upset.
She was glad Nayiah ran off honestly, this way she could protect the child easier. She knew Nayiah had a good sense of smell, along with hundreds of other things in the forest. Her mind was worrying non stop about the problem of her not being as healed as she wanted. She was wounded, she would be a target.
The innkeepers words plagued her mind. They hadn’t found the werewolf who had caused trouble in the town or killed those animals, which meant… it was still out there. Shuddering in her skin, Sarylin knew she had to keep moving. Hopefully the roadway was still active enough that a wagon would come by. Maybe then she could hitch a ride to the closest place and get herself stitched up properly. The healer that had been with her in the first place wasn’t skilled enough to do it, so she still had a gaping wound in her side.
Cool water trickled along her side, making the seam of her belt wet, before she tossed aside the stained bandages. If there was a monster still out here, then hopefully it would be lured to that rather than her. She prayed.
Pushing her hands into the spongy grass of the ground, she sucked in a deep breath as she hoped to get to her feet.
It took a couple tries – her head slightly woozy from the loss- as she crawled her way back up to the road. Her side was fully exposed as she felt the steady trickle of thick ooze of her life fluid dripping along her belly, and staining her pants. She had to keep moving, she had to get home. Home!

Jaelyn was wandering about through the bush and trees, considering his options. After everything that had happened he wondered if it'd be better to find someplace that was far out of the way and would take several days to reach anywhere, or to find something closer. However when the scent of blood would hit his nose, he'd come to a stop as he wrinkled his nose. Personally he didn't like blood, but the Beast caught onto it easily, usually meaning some sort of easy prey nearby. "Wonder what poor animal is dying," Jae would mutter to himself with a sigh as the amount of blood he was smelling most likely meant that the creature was going to die.
Pushing by a tree as he would try to ignore the bloody smell, he would stop again, his eyes widening as a secondary scent hit him. "Sarylin!" Jaelyn cried out his name as he looked around and walked around in a few circles, trying to tell where the scent was originating from. When he finally was able to tell, Jae would start off right away, crashing through the brush with little concern for himself. If Sarylin was bleeding as much as he could smell she was truly in danger! His actions of course earning him several scratches about his hands and face as branches scraped and slapped against his skin, and his hair caught on it. But it was nothing compared to his concern.
Coming out of the treeline Jae would stop and looked around until his bright aqua eyes found Sarylin lying on the side of the road. Swearing under his breath he would dash over and fell to his knees at her side. "Sarylin!" He'd speak her name, hoping that she was still concious. "Goddammit woman! What did you do to yourself?!" Jae grumbled with exasperation as he saw the wound in her side.
Taking his pack off he would begin to pull things out until he reached his first aid kit. Pulling out cloth bandages, he would look to the woman, and as long as she was awake would bite his lip uncertainly. "That is going to need some disinfecting. Will you let me?" He asked her as he pulled out a corked bottle of alcohol, holding it but not uncorking it yet as he waited for her approval.

~The sounds of jars clashing against the movements of the waggon as a female peddler motioned the waggon forward. Her brown bay horse pushed it with ease. Light frosty blue eyes stared on ahead. The sound of wooden wheels making contact with the dirt trail way as she held the reins to her horse. A happy smile pressed on her lips as she had spent months travelling around peddling her merchandise. The water elemental was thankful she had made a good amount to help out her village's needs.
The sound of horse hooves would make sounds along the dirt path. Lapris Lazuli blue hair, hung neatly around her face as she had a part of her hair tied neatly in hairbands. Humming along to pass the time, she still had a long way ahead to getting home. But the woman figured she didn't have nearly as long now to reach the shoreline where her village rested along the beautiful ocean shores. How much she had missed her people for so long.
Though she didn't seem to mind being away either. After all she had left for her people, now of course not for the whole village. But she was one of the few water elementals who had left her village to try to make extra coin for what was needed to survive on such as buying seeds for harvesting as well as anything else they needed. Sure they were able to fish and that at least didn't cost anything for them to do. But there was clothing and what not that was always needed among the people. It was sad clothing didn't last as long as it should have with some of the people only being able to afford one set of clothes.
Umikai gently leaned forward to gently stroke her horses main. Returning to sit down as she held the reins firmly in her hands. How eager she felt about seeing her family again. How much she had missed her mother, and father and her little brother. Laughing as she remember how much her little brother always seemed to look up to her. She wouldn't have minded seeing her other brother too of course.~
“Just think, we'll be home soon. We'll get to see our family again.”
~Umi would say with a pleased smile. She was in such a happy mood right now. She giggled as she heard her horse snorting in response to what she had said.~
“Oh don't worry yourself. You will get a nice tasty treat when we get home. You know how my family loves to spoil you, Hazu.”
~Umi said as she giggled hearing Hazu snorting again. Umikai didn't look like a child, nor did she like so young. She was at a right age. Though unless she was asked it would have been hard to notice how old she really was. If the water elemental had known that someone had been somewhere hurt and injured and needed to get to someone who could stitch her up, Umi would have honestly offered that person a ride in her waggon as she knew people in her village who could have helped with that.
Glancing behind to check on all of her items, she gently patted her belt pocket that held her Lapris Lazuli stone inside it. She cherished that stone more then anything in her waggon she was selling. She carried all sorts of items in her jars. Some weren't in jars such as clothing her village spent time and love and dedication in making to be sold. Blankets and what not, necklaces, accessories, pants for women and men. She had a lot of stuff her village had made. By the time she had turned around would have been when she would have spotted something up ahead. Pulling on the reins, Hazu would begin to slow down as her waggon would have easily been able to come into view of anyone who would have noticed. At first she wouldn't have noticed anyone possibly hurt due to the fact she couldn't see it so far ahead as her waggon became visible. Curiosity showed in her frosty icy blue eyes as she slowly become more visible in the distance. And the sound of Hazu and the waggon wasn't exactly unable to be heard. Because it was to those with incredible good hearing.~ “Hmm Hazu, I wonder what's going on there up ahead.”
~Umikai would speak to her bay horse with curiosity. By the time she had neared the two people she had pulled hard on the reins causing Hazu to come to a complete stop.~
“Whoa boy.”
~Leaning in once Hazu had stopped she petted her horse and gave him kind words as if to tell him thanks for listening and you did well. Glancing from Hazu she would stare at the two people. Concern showed in her expression as she noticed the woman seemed injured.~
“Hello...can I be of any assistance?”
~Umikai would ask the two elves as she first glanced at the injured woman, then to the man. Waiting for them to answer. She didn't want to impose but she was showing she was willing to be of any help. No matter how small it was.~

Hearing her name called, Sarylin adjusted herself so she could actually see up the ditch side with a grumbling noise at her own plight. Why did she have to deal with being mortal, seriously.
Ebon hair and vivid eyes caught her attention as she felt herself feeling acutely foolish for her current situation. She heard him feeling as if she was being scolded for what had happened. “Oh its nothing really,” she turned away from him, her cheeks slightly hot; “Just part of the present that damned werewolf left me with. I took a tumble that night and thought it might be fun to be on a wooden spit.” She side glanced him, “Why… why are you here? I thought you said goodbye to us. Surely this is the opposite of that.”
Sarylin spoke softly keeping her face turned but her eyes were watching him as he took things out of his pack. He really was prepared for it all, how long had he been on the road alone to accumulate so much? She kept her lips pressed as he spoke about cleaning the wound.
“Look its not a big deal Jaelyn. Sure its painful and gory but I’m fine.” She really felt so silly for having him come back. After having Nayiah run away and now him returning, she seemed to be nothing but a thorn in his side.
Dropping a hand to settle on her wound, she furrowed her brow. “Jaeyln seriously, just forget it. I’ll be fine, you want to keep moving on right, so don’t let me stop you.” She was beginning to feel like a heel with him, she didn’t want him to worry about her. She was all right, she always was. She took care of herself and she didn’t want anyone taking pity on her. She didn’t move her hand away from the wound as she eyed the bottle, knowing full well what it was. Too many times before she had felt that burning hell on her skin.
Long tapered ears flicked making her head jerk around to see the wooden wagon pulling up along the side of the road, making her furrow her brow. Great she was becoming a attraction.
Letting her gaze fall to Jaelyn, Sarlyin gritted her teeth, tightened her hand around her side as she pressed her feet underneath her body. Holding her breath she couldn’t curse, but she was finished feeling like an attraction. Standing up finally, Sarylin let out the air from her lungs; gem like eyes tracing up the road along the wagon to the woman. “No thank you.” It was clear she was a peddler and that always meant money. Too many times in her life had she been suckered in to there little games. Offer assistance and next thing you knew, you were walking away with an arm load of fabrics, and wares you didn’t need in your entire life.
Wincing some, Sarylin turned away from them both. “Thank you both for your kindness, but I’ll be fine.” Stubborn to the core, Sarylin moved away from them. She didn’t want to offend anyone, but at the same time she didn’t enjoy feeling so helpless and trivial. It may have not been the truth, but that did little to ease her mulish mind.
