Biography:
Isamu had always been a troublemaker, even when he was confined to land. It was around the age of 15 though, that he got his first real chance at piracy. On the run from a pair of guards, he ran across a pirate captain, whom gave him a choice, servitude aboard his ship, or imprisonment -perhaps even death- at the hands of those guards. To Isamu, the choice was simple, he went with the pirate. From that day forth, Isamu was litte better than a slave, doing menial labor around the ship to help keep it in good repair. Around the age of 17 though, the captain took him to the ship's gunner and master of arms, a man that to this day Isamu does not call by any name other than Sensei. Learning the fighting styles of his homelands samurai. For the next five years, Isamu climbed quickly through the ranks with a combination of tenacity and daring, though he was unusually honorable for a pirate, no treachery was involved in his rise through the ranks. Eventually he claimed the title of First Mate, and in that same year, as they sailed the Caribbean, their ship was ambushed whilst raiding a merchant vessel. Fighting to the last man, the pirates somehow were victorious over not just the merchant crew, but two navy frigates as well. As Isamu and what was left of the crew finished off the navy sailors, a shot rang out. The surviving captain of the navy vessels had shot their captain, and noticing what was left of the crew rush twoards him, he simply smiled wickedly, gave a sarcastic salute, and fell backwards over the railing, never rising from the waters. As both the pirate and merchant ship were too heavily damaged to sail anywhere, Isamu and what was left of the crew boarded the navy frigate, sunk the other ships, and sailed to the nearest port. There they repaired the ship with what money they had, and renamed her the Raider of the West. For the past five years, Isamu has been making a name for himself in the Mediterranian and the waters around Europe, only recently setting sail for his home waters around Japan.
