"I know what I saw.
Her smiling face.. A sweet
kiss.. We shared a time together
before everything went black. You say
I was seeing things.. I say you're wrong."

On his left shoulder, he has Saya's name intertwined with his own, rings binding the names together. They may not have been married, but he considered her his wife long before he left.
Morality: Chaotic Neutral - While alive, he was a womanizing flirt. Of course he never once cheated on his beloved Saya. He did a lot of flirting though.. But never touched another woman. He was also a well known trouble starter. Since his death, he tips back and forth between a good hearted ghost to a wraith like ghost. The only time he gets truly wraith like is when he is unable to help those he loves any longer.. And he's forced to just sit back and watch from afar. Having to just watch really don't sit well with him. And it really shows through when he's unable to hug or touch Saya.
Disability: Before he died, it was the curse of the Maonichuan. Spring Of Drowned Cat in Jusenkyo. He fell in and was cursed to turn into a black and white cat each time he was splashed with cold water. And then in death.. one that followed him into death is his love he feels for his beloved Saya and of course the protective love he holds for his uncle and his little brother. And another thing he took with him is the fact that he's very outspoken and don't care how much trouble it gets him in. If he's got something to say, best bet your bottom dollar it's gonna be said.
Allergies: Vanilla - The scent sends him into sneezing fits. Or did. Since his death, the scent no longer bothers him.
Blood Type: A +
Sexuality: Straight
Love Interest: Saya Hidoshi
Family:Younger Brother, Older Brother, Two Older Sisters, Mother & Father, Adoptive Uncle
Class(es)/Occupation(s): Young Lord Of Bayankala China - He is however currently dead. As such, his 'mission' in life is to just watch over those he loves. And currently he's bound to his loved ones via sorrow.
Abilities: While alive, he turned into a cat when he was doused in cold water. Only hot or warm water would return him to normal. Then there was his skills with any form of blade. From a long sword to a tiny kitchen knife. He was also quite skilled in peeping in women's wash rooms without being busted. Then of course he was also quite the flirt. Though he just never actually acted on any of the flirting. The only one that he may have acted on the flirting with was Saya..his beloved. He was once also an excellent martial artist. And very handy with every day things. He could turn a jar of honey into an exploding 'bomb' if he wanted to. As a dead man, he has the typical ghostly abilities. Or will. Right now he cannot be seen nor heard by anyone unless they too are of the earth bound spirit variety. He was just recently bound to earth..bound to his loved ones and is not able to cross over. Over time, he will gain the ability to talk to people.. and eventually even be able to interact with people. Though it's a slow process. Also as a ghost, he can walk through walls, vanish randomly.. that sort.
Weapons: While alive, he could make a weapon out of anything. Including food. But since his death, he has no weapons aside from the violent ghost abilities that kick in when things start going wrong.. Which he's teetering dangerously between wraith and ghost.
Other Important Items/Equipment: He took with him to the grave a sapphire necklace that was passed down to his brother. Jiuye was given the necklace by those that turned Chung to ashes. The necklace was originally for Saya. Chung planned on giving it to her when he returned home.
Biography:
December 5th, 1987 - The wailing cries of a baby boy will fill the bedroom chambers a few minutes after sunrise. He was welcomed into the world by a nobel family. His mother a Lady and father a Lord. He'd be handed to his father as the midwives finished up taking care of any of the needs his mother needed. While she was being tended to, Lord Yakuma would give the boy the name Chung.
Growing up, Chung wouldn't be an only child. Ahead of him, he had two older sisters that were twins.. They were three when he was born and ahead of them, an older brother that was seven. Growing up was an easy time. At the age of two, he'd become a big brother.. The final child joining the family. Of course their parents tried again after Jiuye joined the family.. Each time either ending in miscarriages, still borns or babies that didn't live more than an hour. The fifth time of trying, they'd give up. It wasn't worth the heartache.. Though Lady Yakuma, her mental state by that point had started to decay due to all the stillborns and deaths of babies that only lived so long. Something she did pretty good with hiding.
When he was about the age of seven, maybe younger.. He'd be taken under Liu's wing... Him and his little brother Jiuye. Chung would be trained by Jiuye in fighting and sword wielding. Something that Chung would actually become quite skilled in...among other things. It was about two years later that Lord Yakuma would pull Chung to the side and inform him that when he became of age, he had an arranged marriage to attend. Naturally, Chung didn't like it. In fact he told his father that he was crazy before going off to play.
Over the years, Chung would develop a bit of a Miroku personality. He had become a lecherous pervert. He was thirteen when he first was caught peeping into the women's wash room. He was sitting in a tree, looking in the window. He got in trouble for it more than once, but it never stopped him from doing it again and again... And for a change of pace, again. He was slapped more than once for his behavior too and by more than one girl.
A year later, his father would begin to demand that he get to known Lady Saya more.. Telling him it was important if those two were to wed one day. Of course Chung detested it. He often referred to her as a tom boy. Of course that would end with Chung being punished for insulting Lady Saya. It was also around this time that Lady Yakuma had seemed to vanish.. Her body being found on the border of their land. Of course the whole thing was staged... But Lord Yakuma had believed it.. and so had Chung.. They believed Lady Yakuma to be dead....something that would be hidden from the youngest in the family.
A year later, Chung would fall victim to the springs in Jusenkyom, China. He had been training against his brother. Liu having taken the boys out to train at the springs again. Chung had lunged at Jiuye, and at the last minute the younger boy panicked, ducking. This in turn would allow Chung to go sailing right over his brother and into the spring of drowned cat. Of course Jiuye would carefully fish him before out right laughing at him. Jiuye already was cursed.. He was cursed as a rabbit. Before, Chung had used to tease his brother relentlessly about it. Jiuye had gotten used to his curse.. But Chung never would. His brother could make the best of it, but Chung say it as an inconvenience.
At the age of sixteen, Chung had finally come to terms with his feelings for Lady Saya. It took him awhile...But once he realized it, he came to realize just how much he loved her. His heart belonged to her. Sure he kept up his lecherous flirty ways..But he was loyal to only her. She was the only one he'd ever actually do anything with. No matter what, he had become just like a dog.. Very loyal and faithful to her. It was shortly after he came to terms with his feelings and was able to tell her how he felt that another young lord had tried to make advances on her.. trying to claim her like property. Liu, Noukie, Chung and Jiuye all went to 'visit' the young lord that day. It ended in blood shed... Liu lost an eye and Noukie with a cut along his right side and a broken nose. The broken nose to Noukie had been dished out by Chung oddly enough by accident. Chung had went to hit the young lord, the lord ducked and Chung hit his brother instead. By the end of it, Chung had to be held back from attacking. It took Liu, Jiuye and Noukie to hold him back from Chung out right trying to destroy the one that had been after Saya.
The years would go by... Chung had fallen quite hard over the years for Lady Saya. He wanted only the best for her.. So had promised her a big wedding. Though as the years wore on, so did his annoyance with the curse he suffered. He wanted her to have only the best. And so when he turned twenty one, he decided to take his younger brother and go out in search of a cure for the curse. He thought that maybe if he could find a cure, he'd be a better husband. He could only imagine after all what it'd be like to marry a man that could never go swimming or goof off by a lake without worry of changing into a cat. It was because of this that he had become obsessed with finding a cure. So at the age of twenty one, him and his brother would leave. But he'd promise Saya that when he got back, he'd marry her.
Every week during their travels, a letter was sent to Saya along with a single crimson rose.. The real roses stopped when the weather no longer supported them..But he'd send her a paper rose at least.
A year would pass.. He was twenty two now... And tragedy would strike hard. Jiuye and Chung had run out of eating money. So the brothers had retreated to eating out of a garden in the middle of the night. Jiuye was content with the lettuce and carrots he found.. But not Chung. Chung took some rye seeds and he'd make his own bread with it.. But there was a back fire in his plans. He ate the bread by himself..Jiuye had been too full to eat it with Chung.. The seeds he took for the bread were contaminated with a fungal infection. The infection would leave Chung very sick. It was a sickness that lasted right up till late October.. By late October, Chung was unable to move without help. He did nothing but lay around.. And when he wasn't sleeping, he was either sick to his stomach or having hallucinations. At one point he had been convinced there was a bear trying to eat his legs.. He was just going fast. The night before Halloween, the hallucinations would hit their all time peak. He'd swear up and down that he was seeing Saya and that they been together all this time... Wasn't twenty four hours after those hallucinations hit that point, and he'd take his last breath in the middle of the night. Jiuye had been there through it all.. Even to the points that he was sure Chung was going insane. And he'd be the one to go for help..scared. While alive, Chung wouldn't let Jiuye leave for help.. He had been convinced he'd be alright and it was just the flu.. A very long lasting flu. But in the end...not going for help...and trying to fight the sickness without medication, it was the death of him.
Now, he's bound to his loved ones via sorrow. He's a ghost now.. A ghost that is unable to cross over. He had made a vow since he became bound to them.. He has vowed to watch over them. And to always be there for them.
